We have recently bought a kitchen from Jonas and James kitchens and we are so pleased with the quality and the price of the kitchen. The kitchen designer Scott McArthur in the Bournemouth store was very efficient, professional and friendly. Scott gave great advice on the design and colours which really helped the process. He gave clear communication on delivery time etc. Thank you Scott for all your help with our lovely new kitchen, it was invaluable.

Our sales man Scott did a fantastic job, he made it so easy to purchase our new kitchen, we are so very pleased with the final result, It was only by chance that we went to the Range as we did not know that they supplied kitchens and so glad we did with a price that beat all others and quality that I believe is better also. Thank you

We bought our kitchen from the range in Paignton from Richard Bickerton. He was so helpful in planning and designing our kitchen. He was also very patient with us as it was on order for at least 6 months due to issues. The date had to be changed 3 times which he did with no complaint. He also recommended a kitchen fitter called Jake Curnforth who did a superb job and nothing was too much trouble. His team were also very efficient and very helpful. We’re extremely pleased with our kitchen with thank to richard and Jake for giving us our dream kitchen. We cannot thank you enough. Thank you, Roger & Ronnie Applebee

Avoid at all costs I bought an indigo blue kitchen from Jonas and James in the the range warehouse Stockport kitchen delivered on time started unpacking and fitting notice a lot of damage to finish on doors some doors hung on the wrong side rang salesman and he came out to inspect he brought with him doors with the correct hanging holes he inspected the damaged finish and said he had never had this problem before he did a scratch test with his car key on one of the damaged doors in video in my kitchen he was shocked to see how easy the finish scraped off he took a couple of the doors to the supplier TKC who tested the doors ect and agreed that they weren’t up to standard so they sent out more of everything that was indigo blue we were assured that this was a one off bad batch I got the fitter back at my expense upto no again and started removing and fitting the replacement indigo blue stuff we noticed chips on doors when we removed the cling film off and again 3 doors supplied wrong hung wrong side I rang the salesman who came out on his day off to replace the wrong hung doors and to inspect the newly supplied doors ect he was again shocked as the samples that he sold the kitchen to us were nothing like we receive he again tested a damaged door and the finish just scraped off I had to take a couple of the doors off again and take them down to j and just at the range for him to take to KTC the supplier to test he did so but they didn’thave a testing kit! The salesman this morning has told me KTC have sent them off for testing which could take weeks nobody’s taking responsibility KTC Jonas and James and The Range Warehouse so at this point in time I have a substandard kitchen fitted and another one the first substandard one piled up in my house this has gone on ten weeks now with no end in sight I just wish I had never walked in that store that day the salesman in Stockport has and is I believe doing his best but he is up against it when he isgive sub quality merchandise to sell I have sent in an invoice for the refit to j and j that I paid out of my own pocket and I’m still waiting,as I am still waiting for them to pickup the first lot of junk save your money and your mental health and buy somewhere else

The whole experience from start to finish was well orchestrated. We started our journey at Jonas and James Stockport at The Range with our kitchen planner Colin. It began in October 2022 and was due to be fitted in the Feb of 2023 but due to family bereavments this had to be postponed,we also had time to rethink what we required from the new kitchen so we decided to change a few thing, Colin was very accommodating with the changes we made and quickly redrew plans and costings, the beauty of the Range Kitchen was the prices was held at the price you initially paid and so no increases on cabinets even though they had increased. We ended up changing the plans three times having put more thought into the end finish and what we desired. Colin didn't blink an eyelid through the meetings we held at the shop it was also good to see the computer generated pictures so gave you a good walk around of the finished product. They held on until we were ready which was eighteen months later due to another bereavement within the family. Finally the day arrived for the delivery. All went fine with the delivery van arriving on time and all the products arrived undamaged. Please check that your delivery ties up with your paperwork.We had three issues which were corrected over the next couple of days with Colins intervention and didn't hold up our kitchen fitter. The quality of the kitchen is really good and if it lasts as long as the previous one 30 years we will be more than happy. Well done to the Range team. Very good and quick service , my kitchen became very nice and I couldn't recommend them enough. This was in The Range, Stockport. We went to all the other kitchen shops and this was by far the best quality and service. 10/10. Colin was very accomodating , he went above and beyond and even was able to make the design fit our kitchen space. He is very very talented.

Please pay by credit card, alternatively, please DO make use of the legal claims system, it is actually very starightforward, especially if you communicate with them via email (which I highly recommend!). Keep records of everything, even if things seem to be going right- which they haven't been in my case from the very beginning/first day. I have had numerous deliveries with unsatisfactory upon unsatisfactory kitchen doors/units/parts, missing items, and paint quality being a major issue! I have to agree with the other reviews about paint quality issues, mine is peeling, dimpled, has bits in the paint which means it wasn't prepped and painted in a clean environment, as well as inconsistent paint application throughout- including the kitchen units not being coated properly with paint, to the point you can see the primer through them it'sso thinly coated! I followed their complaints process as suggested by Claire, but they went silent on there and stopped replying (which other reviewers on different platforms also experience), so I am now taking legal action. It honestly isn't as hard as people make out, and I would highly recommend you to take legal action if you are experiencing problems with an unfit kitchen under your Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you're not confident with the law, pop into your closest Citizens Advice Bearuea- luckily I have been born into a family with legal professionals, but honestly, with help from CAB, anybody can make a claim for their not fit for purpose, unsatisfactory, not as described kitchen! I will keep you all updated on here with reviews, and it's a real shame it has come to this, as I have been very very patient with Jonas & James, to the point, they had outstanding parts for my kitchen that they hadn't delivered for a ridiculous amount of time. I could go down the S75 route as I did pay on credit card, however, I know going down the legal route will make Jonas & James directly and solely responsible, especially given I have records of everything and the quality of the product is shocking and speals for itself- so why financially penalize the bank to pay out, when Jonas and James are liable for damages and consequential damages (please research if you're having a bad time with them). If you're not as confident though with the legal system, S75 at the bank offers you an added easier layer of protection- they've wound me up to the point I am going to fully use the legal system to hold them accountable for the unsatisfactory product and their incompetence in aftercare skills, as it's unacceptable in this day and age. As long as you pay even 1p on your credit card as a deposit, you are covered under S75, so reqlistically you only have to pay a small deposit on your credit card, and pay the rest however you like, and you'll have extra protection. Ultimately, I wouldn't bother buying from them as you'll have nothing but issues, in fact you'll be paying to give yourself stress. Please see their reviews on other platforms, not just here, as they request for the 1 stars reviews to be removed, so it's not an accurate representation of customer experiences (mostly bad). P.S They seem to try and blame everybody's damage on wear and tear and/or moisture to try to push liability on the customer wrongly (in my case), but due to their incompetence, the kitchen wanst even complete yet because there were still outstanding parts until recently, so the kitchen wasn't even complete or ready to be used yet as we've been waiting forever for them to send us outstanding parts of the kitchen- so neglect and water damage wouldn't even be possible yet as the kitchen isn't complete (when I say incompetence, I mean it's taken over a year or more for them to even send some outstanding kitchen parts and parts that were meant to be undamaged to continue replacing damaged parts, some thrice over- we can hope & dream...). Watch this space ...

Nice range of kitchen units and ancillary units such as sinks, taps, worktops Good prices comparable with other leading companies, but in my opinion better quality Good helpful and informative staff at the Newport (Gwent) showroom The kitchen units were delivered on time but unfortunately due to a slight hiccup a smaller unit was delivered than required The staff dealt with this efficiently and expedited a replacement within 48 hours without any fuss or dramas In addition the staff pointed us in the direction of several amazing kitchen fitters and we chose one of them who did an outstanding fit of the new units My wife and I are very happy with the new kitchen, and if I ever need a new kitchen I would certainly use the company again

What a great experience from beginning to end. Scott in the Poole/Bournemouth branch has lots of experience in kitchen fitting and design and it showed. He provided an impressive service and quickly understood what I looking for. The quality of the kitchen was of a really good standard and arrived complete and was fitted by my own fitter

If something goes wrong at any part of the job this company leave you to rot. Absolute disgrace the way they treat customers. PLEASE AVOID !! Reported to Trading Standards, Rip Off Britain and a National Sunday newspaper. The sales person at the range was excellent but he made a mistake, he was finishing to go on holiday as we ordered. We wanted the Indigo Blue cupboards, he accidentally ordered the light grey. When it was delivered I immediately pointed it out. Jonas & James said they wanted 15% extra to change it over EVEN though it wasn't our fault. The problem is, we dealt with "The Range" you don't deal with Jonas & James. The Range sales person couldn't speak to anyone at J&J the communication has to be by email and it took days to get a reply. Meanwhile we were living without a kitchen as our fitters had removed the old one expecting to install the new one next day as per delivery. Claire, the customer support manager for J&J just relayed to us her team were reviewing our situation. We NEVER heard anything again and had no choice but to get the unwanted grey kitchen fitted. We just couldn't speak, discuss or communicate with ANYONE. The company and customer service are an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Look at their review rating, one in three customers rate them at one star. I hope the forthcoming publicity costs them dearly. SHAME ON THEM !! P.S Be aware once you purchase you need to sign a T&C which states they do not change anything if there is any mistake. One email I received was a copy of my signature.

I would highly recommend the jonas and jonas kitchens the quality is superb....when we met Scott is customer service was second to none, so helpful with the planning and design of our kitchen.... we were then introduced to Dom the kitchen fitter.. he's an absolute Diamond superb carpenter and done fantastic job... A big thank you for the great service Scott and Dom

After looking around at other companies for kitchens, we decided to buy from Jonas and James in the Range Bournemouth. Scott the designer was absolutely wonderful, friendly and could not do more for you. We were very happy with our choice of the Hamilton kitchen. Scott introduced us to Dom the kitchen fitter. He was an excellent carpenter and done a superb job. Thank you for your great service Scott and Dom

The kitchen that I ordered was two complementary colours. The sage green is robust and I’m happy with it. The dove grey is very disappointingly different and definitely not fit for purpose. At the slightest touch it comes off to reveal the ivory underneath. The worktops supplied were not matching which unfortunately was not obvious until after they were installed. Trying to get hold of the customer care team is almost impossible. The helpline is permanently on voicemail and the calls never returned. Emails can take forever to be answered and are never helpful. When I called at the office in person nobody from the kitchen customer care team was willing to discuss my complaints in person. It seems that they have little or no interest in resolving this issue. I am left with half of my new kitchen that is definitely substandard and not fit for purpose. I am bitterly disappointed with this company and the complete lack of customer support and would urge anyone contemplating buying a kitchen to go elsewhere!

Fantastic service from start to finish Kirsty Andy and Paul were fantastic. It was a pleasure watching them work Paul is such a perfectionist Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was also great to have a point of contact rather than a voice on the end of a phone. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Ad for my kitchen the quality is fantastic and really looks nice. If you are looking for a kitchen don’t waste time looking round. Go and visit kirsy

My husband and I are new to the area and looked at many companies in the hope of finding one that we could trust. By chance we visited the Range and came across a broad range of kitchen doors from various manufactures. We were impressed by the quality of Jones & James. It was fortuitous that Scott was on duty. He talked us through the stages of purchase and installation. It was obvious he was very knowledgeable and committed to providing a good service and solution. We felt that we could trust him. Delivery was to the hour on time. Dom, the fitter, arrived on the day expected and finished according to schedule. His extensive skill set led to the design becoming a reality. We have a lovely kitchen and thank Scott for keeping it all on track.

The kitchen design and advice by Colin at the Stockport branch was professional and very helpful. The pricing was very competitive. We ordered the Hamilton handleless kitchen in gloss light grey with light grey carcasses. All the kitchen self assembly units were delivered as agreed, on time and smoothly. Delivery guys took great care when handling all items. Everything checked off against order OK. Assembled and fitted kitchen ourselves and found the cupboard carcasses were of the highest quality as were the cupboard & draw doors and draw inserts. Assembly was straight forward. As part of the kitchen we had 2 x 100 cm double draw units plus 1 x 50 cm double draw unit - assembly and fitment of draw runners and draws was again straight forward. After considering other kitchen companies we are very pleased that we went with Jonas & James (The Range).
