The afterservice from this Company or lack of it is absolutely unacceptable for such an expensive purchase. Kitchen was delivered on the 26th September and itās taken over 2 weeks and over 40 phone calls, and thatās not an exaggeration, to try and get all the issues resolved. After being promised twice the last piece would arrive on Monday, and arranging fitters to be back on site it didnāt turn up. I had explained our scenario regarding paying extra for fitters to be on site, they simply lied to me advising it would definitely arrive on the Monday. It appeared on the Tuesday. Weāve had to pay fitters for 6 more days of work even though at least half of those were non productive as we waited on parts arriving. The communication is appalling, numerous phone calls are required to get anywhere. Iāve asked numerous times for a manager to call me back, still waiting. Charged for 2 x Microwaves. My last email was sent on Monday evening requesting a Manager call me and Iām still waiting on that call. It has not been a pleasant after experience dealing with this company, itās been the most frustrating and stressful experience purely due to the poor communication and lack of customer care and understanding, itās all one way traffic so be warned if you decide to purchase a kitchen through this company. PLEASE DONT INSULT ME WITH THE FRIDGE!! THAT WAS YOUR ERROR AND NOT MINE. IT WAS ONLY NOTICED THE FRIDGE DIDNT GO THROUGH ON THE ORIGINAL ORDER AS IT WAS OUT OF STOCK AT THE TIME. BUT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE WE WERE QUOTED AND AGREED ON, AND ARE PAYING! WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE SORTED AND NOT TOO WORRY, AND WAS ALSO PROMISED IT WAS SORTED THE WEEK BEFORE THE KITCHEN ARRIVEDā¦.BUT IT WASNT!! THAT WAS NOT THE REASON WHY YOU THINK ACCEPTABLE TO CHARGE ME FOR TWO MICROWAVES. I HAVE EMAILED TWICE THIS WEEK AND ALL I HAVE HAD IS A WHATSAPP MESSAGE THIS MORNING. APPALLING!
Holding back refund for faulty appliances that have already been collected from my house ( oven was collected 3 weeks ago, hob 1 week ago and still no sign of my money back) Store says refunds are processed by head office yet head office (after a 45 minute wait on the phone) tell me they are dealt with by the store (who i currently cannot get hold off at all) and that they have no record of my order (yet on a previous contact prior to delivery they had no problem finding my order).
Kitchen designed and delivered brilliantly from the Nottingham store - even with me delaying delivery. The ceramic sink was broken but a new one was delivered 2 days later (if Iād have let them know before 1pm it would have been next day) .Kirsty was great throughout and any issues I had were dealt with swiftly, I couldnāt be happier. Thank you Jonas and James and Kirsty specifically as your customer service is above and beyond.
I was looking to buy a new kitchen and after several visits to various showrooms, I was out shopping at The Range (Stockport) when I discovered Jonas and James. I booked a home visit with Colin then went to the showroom to choose my new kitchen. Colin explained everything to us and made the whole experience an enjoyable one. He was very knowledgable and helpful and was happy to answer all my questions. I now have my brand new kitchen and appliances installed and I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend Jonas & James without a doubt. Thank you Colin - great job.
Update: As you can see I have received a reply stating the 28 day deadline for faulty equipment and to send them emails. We have attempted to contact them within this deadline repeatedly to be ignored. Our local showroom has had noone turn up for work (as confirmed by the store) and they have not replied to any communications emailed to them. I wanted to provide this update in case anyone saw their reply and believes this has 'resolved' my issues. The kitchen itself is beautiful but all of our appliances have had serious faults (and have even arrived broken!). Completely unreachable when they have had your money as noone picks up the phone, noone has replied to any form of contact (via email and even through Facebook). I have had to contact the manufacturer of the products on our electronic items that should be brand new (and have just been replaced). Very unhappy I have paid full price for electronics that just do not work.
bought a kitchen from these cowboys costing nearly grand had a 580 mm dresser unit sent instead of a 60mm fridge/freezer housing complained to the Stockton store was given the run around all day and told to take off the back go out and buy some big brackets to fi it to the wall and that should do it phoned customer service 4 times was told the person who dealt with kitchen issues was busy ?? and id receive a call did that happen well you work it out DO NOT BUY FROM THESE FLY BY NIGHTS read all the rest of the complains on here and choose for your self. so I had a reply from them as you can probably see and a promised reply to a email I sent 3 days ago and a promised phone call today to put things rite you see by putting there promises on here it makes you think ow see the do care crock of BULL S..T I've heard nothing and won't and I sure as he'll ain't going to get any kinda of satisfactory resolution as I said in the beginning if you want a decent kitchen that fits and no need to bodge it my advice try b and q or whicks there as good and sell units that are meant and fit for purpose DISPITE THERE PROMISE TO SORT THIS TEY DID NOTHING

I have yet again waited another week without having any response based on my complaint: 229621JJ400003779. You asked if I wanted my money back and the order cancelling to which I said I did, and have been ignored and left to write another review just to get you to engage. This now needs highlighting as the service is very poor, hence the request for compensation for the amount of time it takes to just try and get MY money back for a service that was miss sold to me as it was "impossible" to fit therefore not fit for sale.
Got our kitchen from Jonas & James we are very happy how it's been designed we've got everything were expected. Excellent quality product & service .Colin was very helpful I would definitely recommend this company.

I compared a lot of kitchens & did a lot of research before deciding to purchase from Jonas & James. The cabinets are sturdy & the cupboard doors are really good quality (either painted or extra thick if wrapped). I visted the Stockport showroom & dealt with Colin. He designed the kitchen & has been nothing but helpful. He's very genuine, no high pressure sales tactics & did everything he promised. He was due on holiday when my kitchen was being delivered so left me details of where to contact if I had any issues at all. I did want some additional worksurface & spoke to Claire at Head Office whilst he was away. She was great & got it sorted it for me really quickly. On his teturn Colin re-visited to see how I was getting on (I was having building work done at the same time so it was a lengthy process). I 100% recommend this branch of Jonas & James, love my new kitchen!
My husband and I needed a new kitchen and after a great deal of thought we decided to sit down with your designer Nicole, at the Portsmouth branch, who indeed was very helpful and spent a good 2-3 hours helping us design the room. We then went back home to discuss whether we would use j&j or keep the appointment with another company to compare, which at the time Nicole looked extremely disappointed that we didnāt sign up right there and then. There was a bonus on this kitchen, Ā£500 gift card if we did. But we went home anyway. The next day (Monday) we were hounded by Nicole saying if we didnāt sign that day we would miss out on the bonus, neither of us wanted to commit so soon and werenāt 100% but she kept calling saying her boss would agree to keeping the offer open with bonus for a few more days. My husband especially hates being pushed into a corner so wanted to think and look at others but in the end Jonas and James got the deal. Nicole was over the moon, Iām guessing sheād had made plans for her commission. So all was good we had promises of āanything we wantedā any changes even down to change of colour or worktops that sort of thing. The delivery came at the end of may, all good except out lounge was chocker full of boxes but my husband went through to make sure it was all there and made a start himself the following weekend. Still everything was all good, but as he was fitting it himself after work etc, it was taking longer than a normal fitted kitchen, by the end of July the sink came out itās box and there was a hairline crack, this was the last side to to completed but now it all came to a halt. We tried to contact Nicole but she never returned any of our calls, I contacted head office and after a lot of emails going not coming back though, we still didnāt have a replacement. It was at that point 3 weeks later I contacted trading standards and our finance team, who got the ball rolling to getting us a new sink. Eventually my husband called the manufacturer of the sink and they sent us out a new one which unfortunately arrived shattered but the sent us the 3rd replacement which is now installed. The manufacturer couldnāt believe how weāve been treated in all this and we wish that weād chosen another company. Now we are some end panels and other bits missing to complete the cupboards and again cannot get anyone to contact us back, I have tried head office again and apparently there id only one girl that deals these items and sheās in holiday, I cannot believe that there isnāt someone else in her interim that cannot help, and guess what-Nicole is also dodging us once again. I am furious about the standard of aftercare with these people, itās disgusting, rude and unprofessional, I cannot express just how annoyed we are buying what should have been our dream kitchen from Jonas and James, the whole team, from planner to customer service and their head office is despicable and we both advise that nobody wastes their time, effort and money on this company, they are a disgrace.
I knew what i wanted my kitchen to look like we went to numerous companies seeking our forever kitchen but they did not seem able to design it how we had imagined it to be. I had a vision of how i wanted the kitchen to look so we then visited Jonas & James at The Range From start to finish Kirsty the design consultant at the Doncaster branch was brilliant she helped me achieve my dream kitchen she understood our needs and with her amazing design skills and vision produced a design out of this world. She sorted everything out, came to visit the house to understand the challenges our kitchen would present, made sure everything was ordered and produced a time line as to when and how all the work would take place. When the time came she met the fitters Andy and Paul at our house to discuss how to make my dream kitchen become reality down to the smallest detail. Andy and Paul looked at the plans, listened to Kirsty and myself as to how it would look then set about working their magic knowing if they were in any way unsure then Kirsty was there to clarify exactly what was needed, nothing was too much trouble if something didn't quite work or fit ( as is quite often the case in our house !!) they found a way to achieve my dream. I knew i wanted this dream kitchen but was dreading all the work that had to be done and having workmen from several different trades in my house i had no need to worry, i did not mind at all, they were all great, very professinal, friendly and produced an excellent standard of work. Andy and Paul the kitchen fitters had to practically hand build made to measure on site some units to fit some awkward areas of my kitchen, build me a bespoke breakfast bar and make a table for dining out of the same material ensuring my kichen was not only forever but totally unique. The electricians Adam, Josh, Ian and Cameron also had their work cut out with the wiring in our house !!!! but with their expertise brought it up to standard and fit for purpose for the next 20 years. To all involved really, really pleased with my dream kitchen, it is now reality thankyou so much we would recommend kitchens by Jonas & James at The Range to everyone, all my family and friends that have seen my kitchen have said WOW !!!!! that says it all, its amazing. To Kirsty, The Range, Andy,Paul and all the team i can't thank you enough

After looking around a lot of different kitchen suppliers we decided to purchase our kitchen from Jonas and James Doncaster. The service from start to finish is excellent. Kirsty immediately put us at ease when she came to our house to design the kitchen. It was evident as soon as she arrived she was an expert and knew exactly what she was doing. We left all the designing to her. We used the fitters who Kirsty recommends and works with regularly. I cannot express enough how well the three of them work well together. Kirsty is in constant communication with Andy and Paul, and they are efficient and hard working getting our entire kitchen and utility fitted in one week! Any problems they find they work through together quickly to find a solution. I cannot recommend them all enough. Andy and Paul were a joy to have in the house. I had no problem at all in leaving them in the house while I went to work. Overall an excellent experience from start to finish which made what could of potentially been a stressful job of a full kitchen refurbishment an easy stress free process. Thank you again to you all.
Never buy a kitchen from Jonas and James. This is the worst experience ever, in having a kitchen fitted. The finish on over half the doors was totally unacceptable, grey streaks on ivory doors is not a good look. The doors where replaced FOUR TIMES, each time the finish was awful. Customer service is non existent. They say we will call you back, never happens. If it wasnāt for the kitchen designer in the Range at Harlow, we would still be waiting to complete a kitchen that was delivered in February. Ken was a life safer and really went the extra mile to help. Thank you Ken.
We ordered our kitchen from Doncaster store, Kirsty designed us the perfect layout for us, the delivery was on time, as we couldnāt fit the kitchen ourselves, we used the recommended contractors, they were all very efficient, the fitters Andy and Paul were 5* workmen, the kitchen is fitted perfectly, they were helpful, above and beyond, pleasant and very professional, the plumber and electricians were also so helpful and professional, I would recommend with no hesitation. We had one problem with a fridge freezer that arrived damaged, it was replaced with no fuss. All in all a great kitchen, we love it
