Jun 15,2021Stephen was great, really knowledgeable and helpful when I came in on a whim and panicked that we needed a new kitchen and quickly when discovering the kitchen in our new house was actually a mess underneath. He designed the whole thing and as a result the kitchen cupboards are well thought out and there's no wasted space

Jun 07,2021We ordered our dream kitchen with expert help from Adam in the Plymouth store. The in store visual planning was very helpful for us to see what the end result would look like. Adam adjusted a few things to get everything in that we wanted and still allowing a bit of fitting room. Delivery was on time and complete. We had one slight issue with a dent in the extractor hood but a replacement was ordered without any bother and very quickly. So 10/10 from us. Thanks for your patience and help Adam.

May 26,2021This review and rating is in response to the service I received from Chris Grant, a designer based at the Edinburgh store. During the pandemic it was purely by chance I was offered an appointment with Chris and that was my good fortune. Throughout the whole process from making comparisons with competitors to managing a couple of after care issues, Chris was the consummate professional, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I was guided skilfully and very knowledgeably throughout the whole process. Where Chris, as an ex-fitter, went ‘above and beyond’ was during the planning phase, patiently and diligently responding to all of my ad hoc queries. In my opinion one meets very few people in life that seek to exceed your expectations and Chris is certainly one of those select few. He is a real credit to the company who has 100% faith in his product and can demonstrate it. Deal with confidence. For the price bracket, Pound for Pound J&J certainly appear to have the edge regarding quality and likely service, long my that continue. With my grateful thanks to Chris. That day was my lucky day!

May 15,2021The units are solid and very easy to build we had a few damaged doors but they where exchanged within 24hrs, Bisma is a massive credit to the company this young lady bent over backwards to put things right, even with my few problems I would recommend this company to anyone, the wifey is very happy with finished product and that’s all that matters Many Thanks Bisma your a star

May 12,2021We cannot recommend Jonas and James enough. Our kitchen designer Stephen was fantastic, he provided amazing customer service throughout, going the extra mile to ensure the kitchen was perfect. We received the delivery of the kitchen within 3 weeks and the quality is unbelievable and was very easy to install. Stephen provided comprehensive fitting instructions and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. We are so pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend Jonas and James and particularly Stephen Salter (Nottingham branch) to anyone looking for a top quality kitchen at an affordable price.

May 10,2021I moved into my home in October 2020 an one of the things I knew I was going to renovate was my kitchen, went to one company an the price they quoted me was way pass how much I was going to pay, so searching on the Internet came across Jonas and James a few reviews stood out so I made appointment the gentleman name Stephen at The Range Lady Bay Nottingham he looked at my plans (which was from the other company) he reduce the price by 5k on looking in the showroom at the quality of their kitchen I was quiet happy,placed order, delivery was made 2nd April,1 item was damage I took photo of item texted Stephen it was replaced within day ,fitter came on the 5th April and the work to install went well everything was great. Must admit any problems I had with the kitchen with regards to any item that where damage Stephen was on the case to sort it out from start even how things are going with installation which their wasn't. So arrangement for Stephen to see the finished kitchen, it has made a totally different from before it now a lovely working kitchen which im truly happy with. I highly recommend Jonas and James as a company an most definitely Stephen for all his help ..

Stephen the designer in Nottingham went the extra mile, not only did he do an in store design, he actually came out to make sure everything was as good as it could be. The kitchen itself is excellent quality, full thickness back panels, solid build quality throughout with a top quality finish. I've had most of the main brands in my lifetime and I can honestly say The Range offering of Jonas and James is by far the best. Good price too!

May 06,2021I’ve only put 1 star because there are no minus’. The very worst company I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. 1 delivery turned in to 12 over weeks and weeks of wrong items / damaged items time and time again / missing items. I’ve incurred extra fitting charges by an experienced fitter who said he would never take a job on for a Jonas and Jones kitchen again. No laminate worktop fitting pack so the fitter had to get them from Howdens. J&J refusing to reimburse me for this (over £100). J&J have offered me £600 but feel I am not entitled to be reimbursed for the additional labour costs because apparently, 12 deliveries, several weeks, having to keep coming off the job to purchase fitting items, and returning when each delivery arrives in hope of being able to complete the job, would not warrant extra because ‘a significant amount of the kitchen could still have been built whilst waiting for deliveries)! I have shown evidence from invoices and receipts that I have incurred a further £1600 to get my kitchen and utility finished so £600 doesn’t even cover my costs, yet this is supposed to be compensation for me?? The sales person left with immediate affect (I was left with no one to contact and only received help once I phoned The Range store)! Email after email, hours wasted on chasing everything that were their errors. In only 2 months, the cupboard door under the sink has fallen off and the integrated microwave the sales guy advised me to purchase leaves zero space for ventilation, meaning now I have a microwave that is unsafe to use! The amount I’ve had to pay out could have got me a kitchen, with fully assembled units and would still have been a lot less money. I have never left a review in my life, so this is how frustrating this whole experience is that I have to take to a platform like this.

Apr 17,2021Worst experience of my life. My fiancé and I bought our first home last year. Thanks to jonas and James kitchens it has become hell. We are missing cupboard doors wall units infil panels ect. We’ve tried to contact the company but to no avail after trying for 3 months! We now cannot finish our kitchen and leaves the house unusable, this company needs to be stopped.

Mar 17,2021Unfortunately there is no option for 0 stars. Do not buy a kitchen of this company. The so called professional that measured our kitchen measured wrongly. Should have checked underneath sink and measured the plumbing and did not do so which resulted in him ordering a 600 mm cupboard when it should have been 700, company would not exchange or accept return instead telling us that it was our problem and we would have to pay for a whole new cabinet and doors. Spoke to my experienced fitter and was told to bodge the job No screws or fittings with the kitchen which we were told there would be but again when we advised them we were told we had to buy the fittings. All cabinets flat packed which we were not advised of, and both ourselves and our fitter who has years of experience expected them to be assembled. Customer service horrendous they take your money then when kitchen arrives abstain all responsibility . Manager refused to speak to me and contact details refused by the sales team. Basically left a very inexperienced sales adviser to deal with a very complex complaint. Items damaged when arrived but again abstained from all responabity. No holes pre drilled on cupboards or drawers and no template with the draws for the handles so literally guess work where to put the holes. It has cost me a further £1500 to have my kitchen fitted as it has taken my fitters longer than it should have so had to pay for the extra time. If you are considering buying a kitchen from this company Jonas and James/alpingham kitchen don’t save your money and go elsewhere.

The fitter was well Impressed with it. So if you looking to find a kitchen look no further than jonas and James.
