We opened our craft beer bar about 2.5 years ago and just sold it. Thanks to TouchBistro one of the most used and possibly largest hurdle to new businesses, the POS, was super simple to learn and use. All of our employees loved the system and would highly recommend to any bar.

Not easy to use like they say. They make promises to get you to stay then don't follow through. They take money out your account when they are not supposed to and claim they don't see any evidence of it on their system. They sell you products you don't need. They offer third party companies serving that costs an arm amd a leg just to "integrate" and you are still left to pay the regular monthly fees. Menu was not setup properly so orders couldn't be placed, card payments couldn't be processed even after following the instructions that were emailed. Not worth it at all!!!! Be careful!!
Have been using touch bistro for about 10 years now. It’s a great POS platform for restaurants. Their technical support team is always available and waiting time is 0-5min never more than 5. System is so good for restaurants and also easy to edit. I recommend this to restaurant owners if you are looking to upgrade your business. Their reports are easy to understand and have many online options like reservation and gift cards.

Touch Bistro adapts with the times and takes ownerships of any issues with a quick turn around time. The system used to update randomly, often times on weekend evenings, this does not ever happened following a discussion in the community threads. It is designed for restaurants with a nod to the nuance of splitting checks, firing ticket times and simple training. This has been our greatest advantage, with its easy to use online ordering features. Thank you for creating a restaurant focused product!
With the right modifications and menu setup it’s very easy to use. No lost money with PoS and individual cash boxes compared to register used by all staff. Few bugs pop up but usually fixed pretty quick
Rip off don't sign the contract before getting service never got service and paying for nothing ,on boarding person was full of bad atitude can't be trusted save yourself
TouchBistro Epos does the job but is very glitchy. TouchBistro Reservations is awful. It does not function as a booking system. We have now changed to ResDiary & Newbridge.
One year In with Touch Bistro! Everything and more! Best product out there for independent restaurant. User friendly and Management friendly. Best system and value out there in my 30 years experience and operating restaurants. Also has many other options like frequent dinner -rewards program, online ordering directly to kitchen printers. There support is fantastic as far as accessibility and in response time. Highly trained in problem solving which I call additional training sometimes. Highly recommend Touch Bistro.
If you need coatomer service, go somewhere else, the worst I`ve ever encountered. Purchased KDS to help me with online orders. Everything worked fine with exception of online ordering. When I placed test order, it showed up in a flash. Unfortunately it said >menu item deleted> Showed up correctly on pos, printed correctly, but on KDS, received deleted item message. Youd think easy fix, contacted support. Spent hours on [hone, they couldnt figure it out. That was a month ago, every tine I called, they say they`re working on it. Have 2 onboarding clowns ivan and theo, reached out, they told me they`re working on it. Subsequent text n email were ignored by these 2 professionals, basically ghosted me. This was a month ago/ My salesman gave me email to a mgr, emailed him. u guessed it still waiting. Today contacted support, to add an item to modifier group, on hold for 20 mis, then disconnected/ Run, dont walk away. Of course they`re charging monthly for online ordering.
I have been using Touchbistro for about 2 years. They are pairing the ipad with a card reader called MOBI. The cost of MOBI is around $180 each. For the past 2 years, I have bought more than 20 Mobis. That is how fast these readers fail.
Our company, Torisho, has been using the TouchBistro POS platform for the past year and have been happy with the systems abilities. If we've needed assistance, we have been quickly and efficiently taken care of by the Technical Support team. If needed, we have also utilized the expertise of our Account Manager and plethora of specialists.
Touch Bistro is a great company for a business on a tight budget. It provides great service with great back of house reports and graphs. I like how easy it is to get help with their over the phone virtual assistance with call back so you don’t have to sit on hold while waiting to talk to someone from tech. Only downside is that they do not have automatic bank draft for payment and I have to use my personal credit card because my business does not have a credit card.
TouchBistro POS is a great way to run your restaurant. Their program does everything you can imagine and more. I am especially impressed with their customer service. When I need help, sometimes in the middle of the day when we are busy, I get a quick response and am up and running again in no time. Thank you TouchBistro for a great product. Wow! Where do I start?? Maybe the fact I’m £2000 out of pocket and with no epos software from Touch Bistro would be a good place to start! Why you ask…..because they don’t offer refunds and even though their sales rep told me many times that their software could do everything my current epos could, he lied! I was left to build my vast menu myself after a basic onboarding Skype call and when I got to the part that I’d specifically told them I needed it didn’t work! The solution they offered me for my menu simply didn’t work in a restaurant setting and was not functional to be able to use within a customer setting. I went back and forth with their menu building team to try to reach a solution but none could match the functionality of my current epos so I was advised that maybe the best way forward was to cancel. Considering the software had never been used ‘live’ and was still at the ‘onboarding’ stage I ‘wrongly’ presumed they’d issue me a full refund as I’d never used their support (not able to unless your system is live!) and hadn’t even loaded it onto my devices, except one in a ‘dummy’ mode. Guess what?? Touch Bistro don’t offer refunds even if the product they mis-sold you isn’t fit for purpose in your business. How you’re supposed to know this until you’ve built your menus is beyond me but hey…..it’s only £2000! So after dealing with their appalling customer service team for many months in the end they refused to issue a refund of my money. I honestly believed their system could match if not better my current epos as on the surface it looks and sounds better but it simply doesn’t have the functionality. The solutions they tried to offer me were a total compromise on my current system! Why would I go backwards when I was promised it would elevate our point of sale and improve staff interaction?? Very, very bad experience and terrible customer relations. I had to email over and over to even get a response and then their responses were rude and abrupt. Be careful of what they promise you as they’re very good at doing it verbally with nothing in writing also!

Feb 29,2024I wanted to upgrade from basic POS to something with more features. Gave them a shot. From day 1: gift cards never worked. escalated to tech for a month and gave up. Still waiting for refund 2 months later. From day 1: system would crash up to 10-15 times a day. They have known about the issue and tech has been working on it for 2 months. Today I gave up in frustration and cancelled. I cant run a business this way. No Support or accountability at all. Doubt I will get the refund I asked for. Waste of money and time.
