Love this program! Very intuitive. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when you call in for assistance. Only a couple of minor annoyances which I'm sure can be solved by calling for help.

We’ve been using TouchBistro for over a year now and it has helped so much. Our old system was OLD, not cloud based, unable to check out old close outs etc. withh the TouchBistro we’ve been able to review old close outs, make swift modifications, and the system is always being updated which is great. There are some things that we’d like adjusted but the main thing would probably to see and edits account tabs through the cloud(admin) and maybe make a refund or partial refund on the actual pos. Customer service is always impeccable! Shoutout to our salsa rep and account manager!
Touchbistro is tanking. I own a cafe so it is a walk up, order, and done sort of thing. Wishing it was more user friendly and had a more speedy process to ring in orders. Ex. we have 3 different sizes for both hot and cold drinks, so we need 6 different menu categories for the SAME DRINKS. It's a hell of a lot of work inputting every menu item 6+ times plus it makes it extremely difficult and complicated for a cashier to navigate quickly when taking orders at full speed. The system is also SO buggy and slow, so usually the user is waiting for the system to catch up to them to ring in items. I have a theory that maybe Touchbistro is being sold or bankrupt because it is tanking severely. Everything worked great the first 6 months of having it but now the POS crashes constantly, it will shut off mid-payment, the in-app photos are always blank, it's slow, and it never communicates correctly with our terminal resulting in customers being double charged or not even charged at all! Its a lose-lose. I always keep up with the updates and it seems as though with each update, there is a new problem. They also have an app so you can review reports remotely but it is completely useless. Either it is just a blank white screen or it says I made $20 that day with 12 people waiting in line. You also cannot edit the menu remotely so I can only make adjustments to the POS or menu items after close. Another problem we have is cashiers accidentally pressing "cash" instead of "card" and the til pops open and processes the order. The only way to correct this is to make a return. If you have a return, your numbers are WHACK at the end of the night- This makes for an accounting nightmare. I am so over Touchbistro and their fake good reviews. There is no way the industry's standards are this low for a POS. I have never encountered such a glitchy system as this, and with every update it gets worse. When a POS / product ends up making you lose money over bad updates, I can't justify staying with them. I can't wait to move on from these guys and get into something more usable.
I’ve used Touch Bistro for years and they are great about communication and have a great help line. However, they removed a very useful feature and haven’t brought it back despite my two conversations with the help desk. Gift card receipts no longer show a balance remaining. They used to but they use took it away.
At Shima, we love TouchBistro. It's been SO easy, helps everyone on the team keep track of what's selling, how much and when. But of course, our favorite feature is online ordering since now our customers are able to order without calling so it really helps both the floor team and the customers. I bough this POS 2 years ago for my restaurant. And I’m still with them only because it needs too much time and efforts to switch to another POS. Probably we will this year because all bad reviews about this POS is true. Terrible customer service, online reports are very limited and almost useless, as an remote owner I am so limited in control because most of reports are available only on iPads but not online. I’m really disappointed with this POS and now seeking for something else.

I have been so pleased to work with your staff. You have a very helpful staff that is so knowledgeable. I have to say, we ran into a few simple issues that we had to troubleshoot. Andrew Elefteriades has been amazing to work these steps out.
The worst POS system. It is not integrated with anything. You have to log in and out of various systems for all of your tasks. We have only been LIVE since October and the system goes down constantly. Our payment processor needs updated firmware and we are told that they no longer support the processor and we need to buy another one. They only support it for 30 days. If you have a dispute, they give you 3 days to file, but you cannot reach anyone to assist you. You are always on hold with support for 40 + minutes and sometimes they cannot resolve your issue and you have to call another number or send an email. They are not efficient, responsive, or customer friendly. We have another POS system and we wanted to try TouchBistro. The other POS is amazing in comparison. There issues seem small. Never again. We would not recommend or refer anyone.. We have had all of these issues and more within the first 90 days.. Do your research!
We just started to use the POS last week. We called 4 days ago requesting some help we left a message nobody called us back. Tried to call back today and the waiting time was more than 1hr unfortunately it looks that is really difficult to reach you for help
Team has been supportive thus far. I took a little longer than originally planned to get our menu over to their team. They were super supportive and understanding with all us restaurant owners are dealing with in terms of COVID. Finally got the menu over to the team and the menu entry team was prompt and got the menu loaded exactly as I imagined it should appear. So happy so far with TouchBistro!
Having touch bistro linked to our pay terminal has made taking payments so much easier.
Never used a POS system. Hesitated with a new technology but the whole set up was easy.
