We operate a small cafe and have traditionally used pen and paper to manage our orders. Our business has steadily grown over the past 2 years and we started looking for a digital solutions to help manage our daily operations. TouchBistro offers an intuitive interface which is simple to use for our staff while providing our management with useful reporting tools.
We recently set up our 2nd restaurant with Touch Bistro and Allen is always so helpful and lovely to work with. The only negative is that wait times on the phone can be quite excessive - especially if it's an issue that needs attention ASAP.
I've been in the restaurant business with my family for over 30 years and touch bistro is the first POS we've ever used. We are still in the training phase but the customer service and patience with all my questions and concerns has been incredible.
I recently opened a food shop and needed a POS that was easy to use. I already use TB for my coffee bar and though my new shop is a retail grocer, I was confident TB would suit my needs. The equipment arrived with lightning speed and I was able to set the iPad up myself. I needed tech support's help to sort out the printer but the agent was amazing. I enjoy using TB and would recommend it to anyone in the food business and beyond.
Switched from Aldelo POS to TouchBistro recently and everything has been good except there's a few key features that TouchBistro doesn't have (yet) that I would have liked to know prior to switching.
Product and install team is extremely helpful and always able to be contacted. Once we had one person heading up our install everything was extremely smooth sailing. No issues once operational, tons of back end information that's easy to understand and very streamlined.
Worst System ever. Customer Support does not exist. Waiting hours and hours on hold with no resolution. Updates are being installed in the middle of service. No answers to calls or emails. Stay away!! We have been dealing with this for one year and lost thousands!
I have used TouchBistro for the last 4 years. The product is easy to update and operate! Excellent reporting Excellent customer service Being in the restaurant business for 35 years, this is by far the easiest system I have ever used. I highly recommend TouchBistro
The worst POS system that's very complicated to manage, slows you down during the busiest time of your business, has poor cloud service that breaks literally everyday and the list goes on. Their sales people are soft-spoken, friendly folks who'll convince you to signup with their service but that's where all their service ends. You'll never get any post sale support and their technical support line has at least a 90 minute wait time. I ran into a software bug that was affecting my business pretty badly and they were not resolve the issue in 30+ days. DO NOT signup with them. If you really want because you heard good things about them, make sure you try them out for at least 30 days. I guarantee you'll run into issues in 7 days or less that will change your mind.

Great restaurant management system. I was able to save all our products during installation and also enter special shortcuts for our handheld. This allows us to type in frequently ordered products faster. The credit card payment always works perfectly. All types of cards are accepted.
Great for kiosks and very responsive customer service. A great alternative for small businesses trying to get through the pandemic.
Is already 3 months that I can't connect with my IPAD's to the server so I can laterally use the system. I write to their support, call them every day but they continue to say that development department will contact me. Any support from the sales department or others. But the worst part is that they charge us for the reservation system "Dine in" during the lock down, because we didn't communicate in the right way that we are going to be closed and do not accept clients for dine in. Probably they live in one other planet were is not present the pandemic problem.
Touch Bistro has been a great POS It is easy to master and the ability to use screens in the kitchen is the best. Orders are taken table side with iPad mini orders for drinks go to a screen where they make the drinks, food goes to the cooking area and ice cream goes to the ice cream area. This feature has made our store run so much smoother than paper tickets. Using iPads as the screens they keep working even in power outages as long as you have your routers and server on battery back up.
TouchBistro is the perfect platform for us. Easy for staff to use and management can access reports remotely. I receive all the support needed from the TB team and will happily recommend this product!
We are a small business based in SWFL .we hired a local touch bistro agent to install the POS and we made sure he is an approved Touch bistro dealer. He charged us $1500 before the installation and he went out of town on the day of restaurant opening . When we ask him to fix the installaion as soon as he can, he just gave up the job and did nothing to help us for installtion and kept the money. We contacted Touch bistro and they told me they are not responsible for the refund at all and they cannot help us out It is not a good pos system at all for any small business. If you have plenty of money to loose, then Touch Bistro is the best idea
Touchbistro is very easy to use. Very easy to change the menu and prices. Plus we can see the sales and what items we sold the most, and which are not selling the most. There is lot of advantages and very affordable. I have already helped my 2 business clients with implementing touchbistro and now working on the third. Cheers for the Great Work

Working at a local Pub in my community and they were in need of a better POS system and also one that could launch quickly as the old system licensing agreement was running out within a few days. We were able to purchase and set up the new Touchbistro within a few days and get any kinks out before the old system crashed. Its new to all of us only had for 2 months now and so far working excellent and have called customer service few times to work few things out...no problem getting thru and very knowledgeable.
