Bought a fridge freezer over 2 weeks ago, it got delivered last weds, to my excitement of being a quick delivery, unpacked it and it is damaged, dent in door and a large scratch. Got in touch with trade depot, they said it will be replaced early this week, phoned again yesterday and was told it won't be coming now until late next week, I have no working fridge freezer, have over 200 dollars worth of meat arriving on Monday and no where to put it. And stuck with a damaged apiance just sitting in my small kitchen. And then to be told it will be over a week before they can pick the damaged one up 😪 and need it to be back in its box....box is ripped up when I took it off. I'm soooo upset but they just don't get it.
totally incompetent company..I am surprised they are still in business...steer well clear for your own sake...
Have been waiting weeks for an paid ordered product to come in - they just keep pushing the date back and string you along as long as possible. If you dont have the product just say so I can get my refund and support another business that actually cares about customer service. Spent 4hrs on the phone today just to speak to someone, 10am - 2pm and still haven't spoken to anyone! Shocking, just give me my money back so I can go elsewhere!
Super slow, poor communication, regularly sell goods that aren't in stock, don't recommend, expect disappointment when dealing with this company.
Fast delivery and great product
I ordered a sink for my new kitchen, it got delivered in time . After opening I discovered that it was damaged . I contacted Trade Depot straight away they send a return slip , assured that they will fast track the new sink snd that was it .2 weeks later, many phone calls , reassurance to look into it straight away, keeping us in email conversation. Absolutely nothing happening. It is nearly 2 weeks before Xmas , I have no sink in my kitchen and family coming to visit . Customers service it a joke . I will not order again snd will not recommend to anyone but will share my experience I have with that hopeless company
Yes their products are good and reasonably priced but to me the delivery times are a joke so if you're wanting something quickly like a fridge, washing machine etc then don't order from these people, I won't be again. This day and age it's absolutely ridiculous to wait so long. Another thing is you don't find out how long you have to wait until you've already ordered which is a have. Don't try ringing them either, they don't answer, hopeless

Purchased a pool heat pump after enquiring if it was available from the Hamilton store. Agent checked and it would be waiting for me to collect. Drove over from TGA and after an hour of waiting turns out it wasn’t in stock. Disappointing part was there was one in Chch but they wouldn’t put it on a courier as they only use their own trucks. You would think after the muck around they could at least use a normal courier to send the stock.
Ordered a roll of electrical cable over 3 weeks ago. No sign of it yet. I could deal with that but every time I ring, I get another excuse about where it is or when it will be dispatched. Call center staff are rude and often hang up on me when I call them out on repeating the same story that I was told the day before. I cannot get a straight answer from them and they are clearly lying to me as I have been told the item is in a different city. the item has been picked up today, the item will be picked up today, the item ill be picked up tomorrow. I only get an update when I call. I have received no tracking info, despite numerous promises. 12 months ago, they took my money for a flooring order and when I rang, 3 weeks later, to see where it was, they advised it was on backorder. Personally, I will never deal with them again.
I ordered a range of items for my bathroom three weeks ago. They still haven't dispatched everything and only advise of delays if I call them. I was prepared to do a 4.5 hour round trip to collect the last items but agent on the phone wouldn't confirm in writing that remaining things were available, only that they 'coordinated with our Hamilton team regarding your pick up request'. I called again only to hear from another agent that at least one item was actually out of stock, despite the website showing them all available to click and collect. I've spoken to four different people, not one has followed through or told the truth. I've no idea if my items will ever arrive.

Quality seems OK for the price but don't expect any support if the order is damaged. Ordered $3k worth of bits to do bathroom, only issue I had in the order was a scratched vanity handle which would of been easy for them to make right and replace, but they didn't want to know about it.... calling it user damage for a item straight out of the box. Pleased there wasn't any bigger issues.
I ordered an Airfryer online. Such an easy process. Quick confirmation, Quick confirmation of courier with tracking. Delivered within a few days. Super easy from start to finish.
Very happy with service especially given I live outside of ChCh. Fridge arrived in perfect condition and was notified on the day that it would be delivered which was helpful.
Paid them 13 November.....arfter contacting them twice .... finally got email 2nd December saying out for delivery . Bad communication, incorrectly stated info , no genuine response from them
Teach your agents manners. I bought a fridge on the 13/10/2024 and they said it would be delivered end of Nov. In the meantime, I bought a bar fridge, basin, washing machine, tap and a dishwasher, that all was delivered with notifications. In November, I queried my Fridge delivery and that changed again to first week in December 2024. Then I called Customer services on 3 Dec 2024 to find out exactly when in December and asked if I could be informed on when I will receive it, so that I could make arrangements for someone to be home. She said that it is still on "back order" with no specific date, but you will get it next week and then she put the phone down on me, while I was talking to her.

Dec 11,2024Would not recommend this company at all. 14 working days to deliver item, to bad customer service with “ Bob “ telling a concerned customer that I will not be at the delivery address they have, with “Bob “ tell don’t worry and the item turning up at the wrong address from the 3rd party delivery service. Me taking time off work to go pick up item and then take it to new address. I can’t see me getting paid from trade depot if I sent them and invoice for my loss of time and income
