Absolutely horrific experience. New fridge was scheduled to be delivered on Monday 7th, heard nothing all day so I messaged online chat at 4pm. It was answered pretty promptly and I was told that it would still be delivered on the 7th. Nothing. Opening a ticket about the issue. Tuesday the 8th I got through to online chat, who apologised and said he would be in touch if it wasn’t going to be delivered on the 8th, he opened another ticket. Nothing I got a text at 4pm saying it would be delivered on Wednesday 9th. I opened an online chat at 2.45pm on Wednesday 9th asking where the delivery was, Facebook messaged, called and nothing. 2 previous tickets unanswered. I’ve now taken 3 days off work and I still have no idea when my item is getting delivered and no one is answering any of my requests. Would never order again Update: item finally got delivered 6pm on 9th. Delivery driver, Roneel, was amazing. Shame the customer services team let them down so badly

This place is absolutely useless with getting stuff out and delivered it would’ve been quicker for me to pick it up when I’m 30 minutes away I ordered this on 1 October it is now 8 October and they still don’t know when it will be delivered Just wasting my time. This is not the first time I’ve been mucked around by them too. The first time I ordered the oven wire rack, no one ever called me to tell me it was in stock I go there after a few weeks they send me down to pick one up don’t even have the stock for it then was told it would be delivered to me another two weeks still nothing so went back in there they sent me to the showroom to go and pick up One obviously they’ve taken it out of oven. so much poor customer service. They definitely need a better system in place if I can order something from Auckland and get it the next day what kind of outfit is this. After reading all the poor reviews they shouldn’t have gone there. Really disappointed.

I had fabulous customer service from Ben Andrews from the customer service team and then again from the technician who was assigned to repair our oven.

Logged onto my account, updated my address and deleted all the old ones. Placed an order online on 23/9 for a ladder, paid $159 and $7 shipping. Invoice was emailed and although selected my new address, saw delivery was going to my old address. Called the contact centre and had them redirect delivery to my new address, said it would be delivered 28/9. It was not delivered, phoned again, and promised a new delivery date. Didn't arrive once again and this cycle repeated at least 3 times. Eventually 6/10 driver Mandeep messages to advise 17min to delivery...to my old address, tried to call and txt driver to redirect at least 13 times, no response and item delivered to old address. Worst experience of my life, not sure how this place is still in business?

When things go wrong it's so amazing to have support to sort it! The team were all so great in trying to sort the laundry unit that had an incorrect component. Parts went back and forth as they tried alternatives. Delays happened. In the end I asked for and was given a full credit the next day. Things will go wrong. What makes it right is responsive service!

Shower ordered through them. The shower tray was warped badly and both the plumber and builder were no way is that going in. So the arduous and time consuming process of contacting them began. Started Wednesday morning, 5pm Thursday get confirmation that a replacement tray will be sent. Friday get the great news your item has been despatched email. However their idea of what has been despatched and mine are diametrically opposed. Five, yes that's five days after being told it's despatched the courier has physically picked it up. In the meantime I've contacted them numerous times telling them that a) I don't have the tray and b) the tracking number doesn't work which means it hasn't been picked up by the courier. Despite telling them that we only have the one shower which of course is out of action waiting for them to send the replacement tray it would appear to have zero impact upon someone in this organisation to actually do something for the suffering customer. Tray turned up 6 days after I received the email from them advising it had been despatched. In reality it hadn't LEFT their warehouse. The time I spent following up on this is more than the 6 hour return trip I should have taken to get the tray. In short I got a substandard tray, got the right royal muck around and now left with the feeling of I should do my level best to tell as many people as possible not to purchase anything from this "outfit". Edited to reply to trade depot reply. Straight from the template of replies to use to frustrated customers. Yet again completely missing the point that it was the replacement shower tray that took days and days to arrive because they never sent it, despite requests from myself querying it. Bearing in mind that they have daily courier pick ups and it was their substandard item that needed to be replaced in the first place. By using the phrase "We apologize if this did not meet your expectations" kind of implies that I had massively high expectations - my expectations were that you'd send out a replacement tray rather than having it sitting in your warehouse despite advising me it was despatched. It's also not unreasonable to think that the replacement tray might be treated as a priority. It's pointless to give any information so that they can look into it, I already know how and why this occurred. In the great words of LV Martin "if it’s not right, then we will put it right and it’s the putting it right that counts” and against this measure this lot completely fail. Question:why would your staff tell me it's going on the overnight delivery? Why do you send out an email saying it's been despatched when in reality it hasn't! Despatched means left your warehouse ... Anyway I'm not wasting any more of my time on this or trade depot. Lesson learnt.

Toilet seat fixer broke. Went to trade depot to buy exact replacement and they don't have any that fit to the toilet seat they sold. Had to buy whole new toilet seat and manager was useless. Staff member was pretty good however. Also no luck went to mitre 10 instead. Trade depot literally sells crap

I Bought my White Parmco wall oven just on 3 years ago and have been so disappointed with it ! I wouldnt reccomend them to any body.

I’ve been shopping with Trade Depot for years and honestly can’t understand why there are so many negative reviews! My personal experience has always been great, and I know several people who have had the same positive interactions. Every company, no matter how big or small, will have some issues from time to time—it’s just part of doing business. But in my experience, Trade Depot has always been reliable and responsive. I think it’s important to keep in mind that no company is perfect, and sometimes things don’t go smoothly, but that doesn’t reflect the quality of service overall. I’m happy to continue being a loyal customer!

We brought a Midea 10kg washing machine which has been a big disappointment as it keeps unbalancing itself on the spinout so we would distribute the clothes again but the same would happen.We contacted them immediately and in July they finally started emailing us and we sent videos of what it was doing so finally over two weeks ago they picked it up and every time we rang them we got conflicting messages that they were were waiting on parts and then they said they would replace it but now they have said that there is nothing wrong with it so now they won’t give us a date when we will be getting it back.This has been a big disappointment as it has never spun the water out of the clothes which then take longer to get dry on the line.We have brought a lot of goods off Trade Depot and we don’t intend on buying anything else as this is a disgusting way to treat repeat customers as we are rural and to not have a washing machine for nearly three weeks is totally unacceptable.Another day has gone by and still no washing machine! And now to top this off Trade Depot is offering us a $50.00 voucher to remove this honest feedback to move on with this.But we still have not got our washing machine back and we were definitely told that if they couldn’t fix the problem then they would be replacing it which Trade Depot are now denying this statement.We think this is an insult to us as we have been without a washing machine for nearly three weeks now so $50.00 doesn’t cut the mustard with us!If this machine is still not fit for purpose then we will be taking this to Fair Go as I feel that we are not the only ones who are experiencing this problem with there machines as well In your reply you never mentioned the phone calls prior to us sending you the video.Also you don’t mention the phone conversation saying that they had found a fault and were waiting on parts but you have about turned and acknowledged if it couldn’t be fixed it would be replaced so if there are no problems with it then there will be no problems but if and “when “you decide to send it back and it is still playing up then there will be big problems for you as you have sold us a machine that is not fit for purpose.This is the end of another day and we still don’t have a washing machine so I hope that putting our problems with you on the review page lets others know of how you treat your customers! This drama still goes on and now Trade Depot are saying that they will deliver it on Monday so I have told them that the machine had better operate as it should or we will be taking this further!

Return to microwave that was not working properly it was outside the warranty I explained to them that it had been in storage and it only been in our house for one year . They gave us a new microwave with no problems highly recommend Trade Depo

my overall experience with tradedepot was good. I bought a washing machine, it delivers on time (they said 4-14 business days) but it arrives in the 8th days on a Sunday. It works well too..

Ordered a washing machine 9 days ago and now they are showing that it will deliver after a weel later while their website says before buying that it will be deliver within 3 to 6 days. I wouldnt be buying anything ever again.

Terrible experience where it has taken 4 days to speak to someone after stuffing up my transaction and now still do not have my refund or my order. Absolutely disgraceful no customer care.

I recently purchased a 8m tape measure from Trade Depot and I’m very happy with the quality of the product. Their customer service was great, and the delivery to Dunedin was super quick which was much appreciated.

Does anyone know if Joel Goodburn is a real person? We are trying to deal with an issue over a denied refund of an item that we had to cancel due to an extended delay in delivery. Have delt with numerous people on the phone, but the final ( and spurious) email comes from Joel apparently in accounts. The altertered paperwork is dodgy to say the least, but when attempting to talk to Joel we get the run around , ( he’s sick, he’s unavailable,) then just a hang up. Grrr. Off to the small claims court now

Delivery driver dropped off to a closed business and left dishwasher on foot path was removed by member of public now trade depo treat me like a criminal Don't use trade depo Also same day they dropped off dishwasher to another closed business

my wife has order a vanity and cabinet though these trade depot and was meant to be here last week at first i had my work address on it and they were meant to text me half a hour before delivery and they text me and no one showed up and next morning we see a email saying they tried to deliver it at 645pm when my work is closed so we arranged it for yesterday to be deliverd to my house instead and i got a text at 8am half hour as they said and then at 3pm we got a call from the delivery driver saying he was going to be here at 8pm . my wife said that we stated on order it needed to be delivered by 6pm as i am in bed trying to sleep by then as i start at 2am in morning do they have no sence of time. now i have to try and either have it re delivered or have company i work for help me try and get it or try and get a refund.and also i sorted out the delivery through company i work for not them had to collect it myself eventhough i paid for it to be delivered

Bought a shower online, I rung them to see if everything was ready they said yes drove to onehunga to pick up and the lady told me everything was ready but they didn’t have the shower mixer, then they told me that they had to order one from Hamilton and that it would be ready for pick up the fallowing week, I ask if it could be delivered to me and they refuse. Make me angry because I rung to double check if everything was ready and they said yes, when clearly it wasn’t
