Feb 13,2019My second Indian trip masterminded by Transindus (and its local agents in Kochi and Delhi), and when there is a third I shall get them to fix it up - no question. Their Delhi agents (Le Passage to India) get a massive pat on the back, too, (and I'd recommend them very highly, too, to anyone thinking of north India). Outstanding were their organisation and attention to detail over (some quite complex) arrangements: airline and train reservations, entries & photo-permits, hotel bookings, meetings with drivers/guides etc., etc.; all went with the seemingly effortless ease (for me) which only comes by the application of effort and attention to every detail (on their part). I'm planning another trip to India (this one will be a bespoke tour) and I'll be getting Transindus/le Passage to India to fix it up for me.

Feb 13,2019We decided to go to Sri Lanka at short notice and found Transindus very helpful in every aspect of the planning and organising our trip. They planned an interesting itinerary with a wide variety of places to see, sites of cultural interest and helpful staff. In Sri Lanka we were very well looked after, our hotels were excellent and Mohan our driver/ guide was patient, helpful in suggesting things that we would be interested in and answering endless questions!! Sri Lanka is a beautiful island and Transindus helped us to have a interesting and relaxing holiday there. We would recommend them to others who would like to organise to see places in that part of the world.

Feb 13,2019I have travelled around India with TransIndus six times over the past twelve years or so on tailor-made tours all over the country, with family and/or friends in small groups, and would highly recommend this specialised and special travel company. Their expertise, reach and reputation mean that you receive not only the best possible advice on arrangements before you go and excellent care when in India, but also a better price than you could arrange for yourself.

Dec 04,2018We have just returned from a three week holiday in Northern India arranged by TransIndus. They were excellent right across the board and made our first visit to India as smotth and trouble free as possible. All the guides were excellent and were often essential to steer us through the crowds and navigate the train stations as well as giving helpful advice and expert knowledge.They were especially useful at ejecting the people who were inevitably in our seats on train journeys, something we might have struggled with. Naturally one could "do" India on a budget but we are of an age where we don't want any hassle and TransIndus certainly delivered a stress-free experience.The supporting paperwork was also very good and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Paperwork arrived on time (though they seemed quite incapable of getting my name correct!), travel folder with information was excellent, travel arrangements all worked as advertised, staff friendly and helpful, hotels excellent, guide first class. Would definitely recommend.

May 18,2018Shivjit at TransIndus was invaluable in helping me put together a superb trip to Japan and China for my husband and I. As the trip was also to celebrate both a special birthday and wedding anniversary I wanted to be sure everything ran smoothly and left no stone unturned and to this end have no doubt that I was a rather demanding client! However, Shivjit was at all times extremely courteous, attentive,prompt and thorough and made sure that all my queries and requests were clarified and addressed and the resultant trip ran like clockwork. I am so very impressed with Shivjit and TransIndus and would have no hesitation in engaging their services again or indeed recommending them. May 18,2018Excellent tour of National Parks in India - All hotels that were recommended I would very happily return to especially the Pugdundee properties. No issues with any of the transportation links and the office were calling the drivers to check if we were ok in between lodges. Will use TransIndus again for future trips to India. Parks visited - Ranthambore, Bandhavgarh, Kanha & Pench - all with good tiger sightings.

May 09,2018We travelled to China with Transindus in March & had a wonderful trip! The itinerary was very busy but it was well paced, with some more time to relax towards the end of the programme (we loved the 2 night stay in Longji). It was great that we had some train trips, as well as the internal flights. We were very impressed with the standard of public transport in China. The standard of the local guides/staff varied considerably, but Michael (Xian) gave us an excellent tour of the Terracotta Warriors, Kevin (Chengdu) was excellent and we really enjoyed our time with Simone (Lijang) - especially the private visit to a "Dongbar" with translation of all our questions! The hotels were all of a good standard in good locations - the Ping An Lodge upgraded us to a room in the new block, which said "Ping An Grand Hotel" on the outside - it was a beautiful room, with a balcony with a fantastic view over the rice terraces - this was wonderful! We have travelled with TransIndus on 2 different trips to India, so we were keen to try their services in China too - they did not disappoint - it was a wonderful trip with good planning before the trip & attentive backup when we were away. I would not hesitate to travel with them again & I have recommended this company to friends & family ... all trips have been very successful!

They communicate well, they care, they involve you in the planning if you have your own ideas, their staff exude respect and pride in their job. My wife and I have had two of the most amazing Indian adventures that you can imagine. Nothing has disappointed us and its all worked like clockwork (How often can you say that about a holiday?)
