Feb 14,2017Way before we left the UK had constant contact from TransIndus with everything running smoothly. Took the only direct flight to Colombo via Sri Lanka Air which I think was a benefit. Once in Sri Lanka met at arrivals by representative who was extremely helpful with purchasing currency. Throughout our trip we had a driver who apart from early timing issues, soon resolved, was extremely good and knowledgeable about his country stopping, discussing and enthusing about many things we would not have know on a group trip. The hotels were all very good in particular Heaven Seven in Nuwara Elija and our last hotel for 3 nights Club Villa at Bentota was exceptional. We were contacted by the local agents Ceylon Tours on the trip to make sure everything was going well and they were very professional in their chats - a nice touch. We had a varied itinerary from Sri Lanka's golden triangle to Trincomalee to Kandy to the mountains and tea country of Nuwara Elija to Yala National Park and whale watching at Mirissa to relaxing in Bentota before our journey home. Some 20 days of interest, well organised by TransIndus. Thank you.

Feb 14,2017TransIndus provided a service second to none, right through from the planning stage to every detail of our month long holiday. They planned travel arrangements to fit with our chosen destinations, advising us accurately about possible alternatives. The hotels they chose were exactly what we wanted, and the knowledge, consideration and helpfulness of the local guides could not have been better. We were also kept informed of any unavoidable updates to travel times etc.

This led to a comprehensive itinerary which provided us with a holiday that exceeded our expectations. Jan 30,2017Transindus arranged our itinerary impeccably from start to finish. The brief we gave them was: a mix of different types of accommodation, some wildlife days, other days for history, scenery and relaxation. High points were the Kaav nature reserve, Sultan Tipoo's palace at Mysore, Ooty and Coonoor hillstations, the day cruising on a private rice-boat and two days in the backwaters of Kerala. Our driver was delightful, incredibly skilled (not a dent in the car in spite of some hair-raising traffic!) and as protective as a mother hen. Transindus's local agent checked in with us every couple of days to make sure we were enjoying it. if there is one slight niggle, we could have done without some of the guides: no need at the airports and the last thing we wanted on arrival at 5 am was a longwinded description of Bangalore's charms. But that is a detail: all in all it was a simply wonderful trip. Highly recommend Transindus!

Jan 19,2017WE have chose this travel agency out of 3 because of the different suggestions they offered and because we could meet them at one point before decision. The itinerary was reflecting what we were expecting (good listening to us) and in India, their team was always on time, very nice, and capable. Ouf High light for the accommodations (except Taj Lake hotel in Udaipur - the best luxury place ever, no doubt) was in Ramathra which was absolutely an authentic Semi renovated 400 years Fort on the top of a hill surrounding by a valley and a lake. Absolutely beautiful and the people working there were very nice too as everywhere but, this place was special. Transindus was very opened to discuss our hopes, envies ? To be recommended without any restriction.

Dec 13,2016The transindus keralan adventure was the most wonderful experience from the horn bill camp to the hills of munnar and especially the tea plantations ; the views were spectacular, the people were kind and gracious the birds brilliant petrol blue. The rice boats and the serenity of life along the river were sublime , this tour comes highly recommended to capture the essence of life in and the beautify that is Kerala.

Dec 09,2016We first used TransIndus in October 2008 and that was a holiday of a lifetime! .. so when it came to organising a long awaited trip to the South East Asia, TransIndus was a first choice. My entire trip was personally handled by Chinmay. To travel to a distant unfamiliar land can be daunting. The language, the food, the accommodation are just some of the worries you have prior to a trip of this size. Young people like my daughters take these things in their stride and take a chance where they stay and end up, but for my wife and I, we reached that time of life when we wanted to be looked after, shown everything, cared for and free of worry over language and cultural barriers. We didn't have a five star budget, nor did we wish to feel that we were reduced to a one star holiday. Chinmay found us the most fabulous luxury boutique hotels to suit our budget, in the perfect locations, guides, drivers and recommended a detailed plan of what, where, when and how we should see everything in our extensive itinerary. The care that you take in meticulous planning of your trip and the consideration about the value and how much you can save yourself if you handle it yourself are all dealt with by TransIndus. If you're thinking of just booking it all yourself, on a budget and want an experience of a lifetime then frankly you'd be nuts not to use TransIndus. When the detailed plan arrives and you know you'll be met, taken to hotels, guided around a country where you'll immerse yourself in the culture and the history you'll understand what makes TransIndus such a winning formula. Our tour again was just my wife and I .. not a group, its such a wonderful feeling to be treated on a one to one basis. Would I use TransIndus again? ... Well actually the question should be turned on its head... Are we willing to travel to these distant places without them? Absolutely not! Highly recommended, personal and well deserving of praise.

Dec 07,2016Two personalised trips with Transindus so far. In both, the planning was richly detailed, exciting and insightful, set up easy and the travel itself remarkably hassle-free in a wide range of settings and local conditions. The choice of local partners and guides was first rate: Transindus is clearly respected and trusted by people on the ground. We had quite a serious medical problem in India (due to a pre-existing condition) and the support and advice we had made everything so much easier and less worrying than might have been, including escorted trips to hospitals and pharmacies, all at no extra charge. Japan represented more independent travel than India, personal transport and guides being both less necessary and much more expensive there. And still, with clear guidance and resources, we had no difficulty following relatively complex and in some cases off-piste itineraries. You can never legislate for all circumstances in such travel but I would depend on Transidus 100% to get me through whatever happens safely and with the least fuss.
