Mar 29,2018TransIndus did a great job in listening to our brief and coming up with an itinerary for our trip to Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Communicated with Hari pre-trip via email and he was always super prompt and courteous in his replies. On the ground in India, everything ran like clockwork and the guides and drivers were always on time and where they should have been. The hotels suggested were wonderful and met our brief exactly. There was just one small part of the trip that we would have changed with hindsight, in terms of spending longer in one place and shorter in another, but that would be based on our preferences and nothing against what TransIndus suggested. Will happily turn to TransIndus for our next trip to India,

The trip was well organised and exceeded our expectations with the standard of the hotels, the drivers and the guides.

The guides and the “meet and greet” guys were knowledgable and met us when and where they should have been (arriving at Delhi station at the peak of the rough hour was challenging). All the hotels were high quality and delivered a great service. The only small issue was I think the advise on tipping was a bit to generous side, checking the web sites Indians were aghast with what we were advised is the norm.

All our guides were outstanding adding their own unique prospective to our trip and making sure we had a real taste of India. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody. If you choose this company you can forget your worries and leave everything in their capable hands. You feel you have seen and enjoyed the real India and it's wonderful people. Every query I had planning this trip was answered promptly the next day at the latest. If you want to see and feel India this is the company to use.

Mar 16,2018My wife and I have recently returned from our 18 day trip to Orissa planned for us by Vasu Bhardwaj and his team in London. More than a holiday, it was a life changing experience for us. Our experienced guides let us see India, not as tourists, but as close as a visitor could get to the life and spirit of the cities and villages we visited. As we moved through the lanes of craft workshops, the markets, the festivals, village schools and farms of Orissa, the true warmth, generosity and joy of the Indian people was opened to us. More than the ancient architecture and magnificent temples these will be our greatest memories. Mar 08,2018TransIndus staff in India were extremely good and looked after us well for the first 12 days. The last 3 days were not so good - 1. The Transindus Red and the local guide over-rode our choice for an evening sail on the lake 2. The driver got lost on the journey from Jaipur to Udaipur which could have been avoided with better planning of the journey and the diversion to Ranakpur which itself is well worth seeing 3. I requested that medical treatment be arranged for my wife ASAP after our arrival in Delhi on the way home. Nothing had been done until we arrived at the Delhi hotel

Mar 02,2018I travelled to India in Feb/Mar 2018 on a trip booked through Trans-Indus. This is the second time I had used this company and having had two excellent trips I would not consider any other travel company if travelling to India. The main focus of my trip was to see wildlife at Kaziranga and Bandhavgarh NP's and with a little culture and sightseeing included with trips to Kolkata, Darjeeling and Varanasi. Before I made the booking I knew exactly what I wanted, and when I visited the Trans-Indus office in Ealing all I really had to do was give the details of my itinerary and the consultant did the rest. It was that easy. The actual trip was nearly faultless, a every airport or station we were met by a representative who took us to our hotels and made the arriving and departing process so easy. We had two quick airport transfers which did slightly concern me, but not to worry, Trans Indus had representatives who hurried us through so we did not miss our connection. All the hotels which were selected by Trans-Indus bar one were excellent. As for the guides when needed, suburb. If anyone is reading this and is travelling to Kaziranga NP, ask for Bittu to be your guide. India is a wonderful travel destination, Trans Indus know the country and the difficulties which are involved when travelling in this country. They make your dreams come true and give you India to enjoy.

Only one gripe an internal flight was changed and we weren't notified it was an hour earlier than scheduled luckily we caught it but could have been an inconvenienced.Someone at Trans Indus must have known but information not filtered through.

Mar 01,2018We have just returned from wonderful Kerola. The trip was arranged very efficiently by Hari, in London, and the Transindus team out in Cochin. They were always discretely at hand, and were unfailingly helpful and charming. We felt very well looked after indeed. There was only one small fly in the ointment. Our room at the idyllic Coconut Lagoon was definitely below the standard of the three other hotels we stayed in. It was small and dark, and on arrival had a distinct smell of drains, which the lovely staff did rectifiy for us very quickly. But compared to our other accommodation, it felt unloved and shabby, with poor lighting and no mosquito netting on the door or windows so we had to keep the air con on at all times. Apart from this our holiday was perfect and we would definitely travel with TransIndus again.
