Apr 01,2024An absolutely FANTASTIC company to deal with. I’ve had my Harveys softener for 5 or 6 years now without any issues. I noticed that the softener wasn’t regenerating this week, and noticed that the kettle had a little scale. Therefore, I contacted UK Water Softeners yesterday (Easter Sunday), and explained the situation. Andrew came back to me within an hour or two, and asked if I’d recently had any plumbing undertaken. I explained that I had had a dishwasher removed a week ago. He informed me that he could arrange for a plumber to call and sort out any issues, but before I did so, to send him photos of the plumbing. This I did, and he came back really quickly and informed me that one of the softener valves had been turned off, which is why my softener wasn’t working. Thanks to his wonderful advice, I turned the valve back on and “hey-presto”, within three or four hours I could hear the softener regenerating as per normal. It’s wonderful to deal with such a wonderful, friendly, trustworthy & professional company. Most companies would have simply arranged for a plumber to call with a charge out fee just to look at the problem. I have always thought this company was brilliant. When I purchased the softener originally, Kevin offered a first class service, and that ethos has obviously continued. They are also incredibly efficient when I order my salt blocks. Thank you Andrew for your wonderful advice. I reiterate, that all of this wonderful efficient advice & help was carried out on Easter Sunday. That is what you call EXEMPLARY service!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!!

Feb 28,2024I cannot recommend UK water softeners highly enough- This is the way to run a business. We had limited space in our kitchen cupboard & Sarah showed my husband the actual product in the cupboard & reassured us of the most suitable softener for our house. She was always responsive & quoted us over £500 less than Harvey’s. The softener was installed by a lovely plumber 2 days later who took great care in our house. They even registered our product for its warranty. We couldn’t have had a better experience for a reasonable price. Thank you! ☺️

Feb 24,2024From the first phone call and then Sarah who visited us, I knew we were in great hands! Firstly Sarah didn’t give it the hard sell which is the same as I run my company. Then was competitively priced. Then there’s the fact they are a family run local business who have been going for years. You have to support your local companies where you can and they just haven’t disappointed me in any way whatsoever. Shout out to Steve too, he was punctual, got on with the job and only had two cups of coffee! Neat finish, quick run through and we are done. Why can’t all experiences be like this!!

Feb 14,2024I have been a customer since 2009 when I bought my first water softener. This softener served us well for 15 years and then started making a high-pitched noise. Very helpful staff advised me over the phone how to stop the noise. Plumber, Carl, contacted me in good time and replaced the worn out softener with a new one without any mess or hard sell. On another note, purchasing block salt from UK Water Softeners is easy and delivery is very prompt. Great customer service.
