May 01,2020We have 2 una mattresses. The double for about 2 years and the king for about 13 months. They are just so comfortable. No sag. Just perfect even after we had them for a good while now. We just moved house and they were a bit heavy to move, but i wouldn’t change them. Would always choose to buy this mattress. I don’t like buying big things online without seeing it first, so i had a few anxieties about that, but the company is really good and the communication was spot on.

Apr 07,2020Have had my Una mattress about a month now and it is wonderful. Have the pillows as well (see my review) and they continue to be the best pillow ever. Did so much research on latex as I didn't want a synthetic latex or a 'natural latex' mattress (which, unless you check, can contain synthetic latex). Look for the GOLS accreditation. My previous mattress was an Eve which only lasted 4 years and the foam had 'broken down' such as I was sleeping in a hollow. From what I have read, true, natural latex lasts much longer. Have had several memory foam mattresses and a Una latex is far superior. Lovely quality. Ours came in 3 layers and have configured it soft, medium, firm with soft being on the top. Memory foam mattresses sleep hot. The Una is cooler (but I can get hot in an igloo as I am a menopausal woman). We have ours on a slatted base. I am normally a side sleeper but am comfortable sleeping on my sides, back and front on this. Finally, found everyone at Una extremely helpful, a very transparent company and love its ethos. Thank you Una.

Mar 03,2020Having previously invested in a very expensive mattress from a store never undersold, we had to change it after three years and tried one of the new memory foam mattresses which didn't work either. After a lot of research we opted for an Una Organic Mattress. We had some delivery niggles due to courier (and our mistake) and Una worked with us to graciously and promptly resolve this. We've had the mattress now since October and love it. It is easy to customise and lovely to sleep on - no more back ache and no more disturbing each other when we move. As it is all natural, another benefit is that it doesn't smell of chemicals, unlike others we tried. Una provided great customer service throughout ad the mattress is a great product - can highly recommend.

Feb 25,2020It's organic, I like the idea that it is resistant to allergens that can cause respiratory problems as with some synthetic mattresses. It is comfortable to sleep on although I think because I am just over 9st it is a little firm for my liking despite the fact that we have the configuration of firm on the bottom, medium in the middle and soft on the top. We have a divan bed base and I think this mattress would be even more comfortable if you had a spring slatted bed frame. It is great that you can configure it coming in 6 separate sections, we have the king size bed one. You can change the configuration of the mattress if one of you is of a heavier build. I also find it is better if I unzip the mattress and air the mattress on a regular basis. It is heavy but you expect that from latex being a rubber product. I think it will last a very long time. I don't find it particularly hot to sleep on, but having said that it stays warm for a a while after you have got up. One improvement I would suggest is to make the cover fully washable, which I don't think it is (I'm happy to be corrected if this is untrue) that would be the icing on the cake so to speak. But overall we are pleased with the mattress.

Feb 09,2020Bottom line up front: Overall experience was great and my wife and I could not be more satisfied! My wife and I decided to take the plunge and order a new Una mattress and pillow set after spending ten years and five plus moves on a tradition mattress setup. It took about six weeks for our order to arrive due to the mattress size that we wanted being out of stock, but that was not an issue for us. Anja and the Una Team kept in good contact the whole time through delivery and provided regular updates and options. Kudos to Anja! Our main concern and why we chose Una products when looking for a new mattress was off-gassing and the amount of chemicals used in the industrial production processes. Some of our friends were happy with their memory foam mattresses but expressed issues with off-gassing. Una mattress addressed our concerns, checked all of the boxes, and and we could not be happier with our purchase. Upon delivery we did not notice any off gassing or chemical smells and only let everything air out for about a day. Setup was straight forward and easy! We have our mattress put together in the firmest configuration since I typically sleep on my stomach and love it! After just a few nights we noticed that some of our back pains and stiffness had significantly lessoned...we probably should have changed our traditional mattress out a few years ago. The pillows are fantastic and we love them! We were a little surprised at how dense the pillows are, but that doesn’t really matter if you are getting a great nights sleep. After several business trips and short holidays, I can’t wait to get home to my Una pillows and mattress! Overall, we really enjoy the Una products and hope the Una Team expand into North America some day because we would love to purchase their products again if we happen to be living on that that side of the pond. Feb 07,2020Like another customer we had to wait for our mattress, But I can honestly say it is the best mattress and we have had in forty years of marriage. I can also assure other potential customers that I am a real purchaser of the mattress and pillow. No one has coerced me into writing a review, and I am in no way affiliated with the company. I have severe neck and back problems as well as fibromyalgia.and that only una mattress and pillow have given me a good nights rest, it gives me the support exactly where I need it. We too did a lot of research on latex mattresses, before we decided on una. Once we made our choice. I talked to my osteopath about it, he totally encouraged me to have this one rather than memory foam. We really liked the idea of no springs, and being able to adjust the mattress on either side, Our pillows fitted perfectly into silk pillow cases with zips with no problem at all, it made them even more luxurious . There was a delay in delivery, but una staff kept in touch with me all the way through until delivery. There was never a time that my emails and telephone calls were not answered. Sleeping on it is so relaxing, For the first time in years I have slept all night without waking, The first night Sleeping on it , I slept from 10pm until 9pm and did not want to get up. It has really helped my restless leg syndrome. Thank you to all the una staff especially Anja who was so patient and understanding with me. I would definitely recommend this mattress but as with all things what suits one may not suit another, which is why una offer 100 nights free trial.

Feb 05,2020I have had a really good experience. I love the mattress, I bought one for my daughter and I love it. Extremely comfortable, if I could justify getting a new mattress for myself, I'd get one, but when mine wears out, I will definitely buy one for me.

Jan 26,2020I have received an una pillow as a Christmas present but after 2-3 weeks of usage it gave me such a terrible neck pain I had to stop using it.The pillow has a filling which seems to be little pieces of latex, might be the left overs from their production. I have tried all firmness combinations but my pain just got worse. I've emailed una but they have never got back to me so I emailed them again 2 days later and again no answer. Then I tried to call them, no answer on the phone either. Then I wrote on their online chat and finally got an answer there from Naomi. I mentioned that I have problem with the pillow and she replied straight away saying: "Ah yes, you received it for Christmas." Obviously she knew about it but never emailed me back. I'm pretty sure if I wanted to order something they would have been very quick to answer...Anyway, then she said she can not give me an answer and they will definitely email me at the start of next week. Again, no email form them at all so I sent one again on Wednesday. No answer again. Only on Thursday afternoon I have received an email from Anja but it was too late by then as I just gave away the pillow.

Dec 23,2019My Una mattress is the best one ever. It has cured my back and neck pain. I am of a slim build, without much padding of my own, and find the mattress super-comfortable with the firm layer at the bottom, the soft one in the middle, and the medium one on top. It keeps me at a comfortable temperature, whatever the season. Just love it. I also purchased an Una pillow to go with it. That's fab too. I sleep like a log. Thank you, Una.

Dec 22,2019We’ve had our Una mattress since the summer, and I can’t even begin to say how good it is! I thought we’d have it set up in one of the “firmer” configurations, but we actually have it layered as soft as possible and it’s a delight to sleep on. Much warmer than our old, sprung mattress, and so much more comfortable. Although these mattresses might not be for everyone, I can’t imagine who would not enjoy the comfort the natural memoryfoam gives :-)

Dec 22,2019I searched forever to get a safe sofa. without flame retardants. In the end I decided to get a wooden framed sofa and an organic mattress. I absolutely love the junior mattress we got. I wanted the single but couldn't afford it. The junior has been great, although I think the single would be even better as its thicker. If I was sleeping on it rather than sitting I'd have got the single. The junior is fine for kids or occasional use. (I often sleep on the sofa with my son if he's ill) No horrible off gassing or chemical smells. I think they smell like cocoa butter. We also have the pillows which are fantastic. My husband likes his with both bits in. I took the smaller section out because I like it less plump and my son has this bit so we ended up with an extra thin pillow from it! My husband doesn't care about natural or organic and would have been happy with a cheap pillow, however he loves this pillow and wouldn't go back now. We got waterproof pillow covers as the pillows were expensive and we have young children. They are large pillows so you do need to get bigger cases if you keep both bits in. If you take the smaller bit out they fit in normal size pillow covers fine. My son has a heart condition so I'm really picky about what I allow into our house. I spend hours going over ingredients with a fine tooth comb as there is so much green washing out there. This is my 3rd purchase from Una and probably not my last.

Dec 20,2019Poor quality, SCAM reviews by YotPo I have slept on Una for 2 weeks (Order number 32740) and had developed a terrible neck and back pain which I have never ever had in my life before. I have changed its combination to try different heights and firmness but it just made it worse. The quality of their product is very poor and will not support you at all. It was a huge dissapointment after seeing they only have 4 and 5 star reviews on their website so I was pretty confident their product is premium quality. After my bad experience with their product I left a review with 1 star but it DID NOT SHOW on their website. I contacted them and Anja from Una told me that their system is down and their technical team will fix it. She said they will let me know when it is fixed so I can leave my review. |They never got back to me so 2 days later I have tried again to leave the review but IT STILL NOT SHOWED ON THEIR WEBSITE! This time Anja told me that it needs some time to appear. 5 days later now and my review is still not there! Then I got suspicious and I checked YotPo – the review site they use. Exactly what I thought YotPo lets companies to FILTER/DELETE their reviews. Copy from YotPo Support: “Yotpo Admin. However, as an administrator, you can unpublish reviews from your site at your discretion. To unpublish reviews from your site: 1. Log into your Yotpo AccountClick Moderation 2. Click Reviews and Q&A 3. Select the published review you'd like to unpublish 4. Click to unpublish the review.” If you google: ‘yotpo review moderating’ you can read much more about it. Works on the same way as FeeFo the other review site. These review sites let companies to SELECT/FILTER/DELETE the reviews they want or DON’T want on their website!!! That is the reason they only have 4 and 5 star reviews as they simply reject the bad ones and they do not let them to appear on their websites! This is completely MISLEADING/DISHONEST to say the very least and should be made illegal in my opinion! This is outrageous! NEVER TRUST UNA AND COMPANIES USING YOTPO OR FEEFO. Update on the 21st: After I published my review on Trustpilot, all of a sudden Una’s reviewing system got fixed...They realised it is too suspicous / obvious not to publish it so now it appears on their website. I hope it stays and they won’t change their mind. Just in case I do have the screenshot. Luckily, Trustpilot does not let companies to delete the bad reviews. I’m 100% sure there are many other buyers who are not satisfied and want to leave their bad reviews but they just give up. I’ve emailed Una couple of times and been told different reasons why my review is not on the website. I’m sure if I don’t write on Trustpilot my review would never appear on Una’s website. I’m certain I was not the first in Una’s life who wanted to leave a bad review...

Dec 12,2019I bought two Una pillows back in June 2019. I really want to love them because I think that the healthy and eco friendly ethos is fantastic. They also seem to be beautifully made. Sadly though I just don’t think the pillows work for me and my partner. Firstly I have found them rather too large to fit in standard sized pillow cases. I have eventually found larger pillow cases that do fit. However I am a little concerned that without pillow protectors the pillows risk becoming dirty or damaged over time because their outer cover is not washable. Despite a lot of searching, I haven’t managed to find any pillow protectors to fit them. Comfort wise, I find the pillows nice but they also seem to become compressed and less comfortable quite easily so required daily shaking. My partner doesn’t find them comfortable at all, possibly because she has neck problems. I did get very close to returning the pillows after the trial period and Una were very helpful and friendly in discussing this and also sending me another pillow to trial to see if it was any better. In the end I decided to keep the pillows but I’m still not sure if I made the right decision.

Nov 18,2019I am a happy owner of four Una mattresses in total: one UK king size mattress, one EU king size mattress and two baby mattresses. Overall I am very happy with my purchases, which is evident in the quantity of products that I have bought. All mattresses are comfortable to sleep on. I no longer have back pains after waking up, and my parents, to whom I bought a second mattress, told me the same thing. The mattresses are composed of different layers which can be shuffled in several different ways producing soft, medium or hard feel. Although the medium feel is the default one described in the manual, I would strongly recommend everyone to try the hard one. If it was almost any other mattress, only a single configuration would be available and it would end up in a landfill if it was not comfortable enough. A newer version of the EU king size mattress contains layers which are separate for both sides of the bed in the configuration of 3 layers times 2 people plus one very thin layer for both on top. This allows to configure the mattress to have different firmness levels on both sides, which is extremely convenient. This also makes the mattress significantly easier to transport when movind houses. One of my baby mattresses is of a non-standard size for a "Boori" bed (132 x 70cm). Una was kind enough to produce me a custom size baby mattress. Another important advantages is that the mattress is made from Organic latex. This is why I bought the mattress for my baby. Upon unpacking it little to none smell as opposed to the smell of an oil refinery that many foam mattresses have (and even some other baby mattresses). Organic latex is a very nice compromice: to the best of my knowledge, unlike a foam mattresses, it does not 'gas off' volatile organic compounds (or at least produces orders of magnitude less of them), but unlike organic mattresses produced from wool, it does not provide an environment for dust mites to live. Latex mattresses is an old and time tested technology. It is not uncommon for an old latex furniture to last for many decades; for example, my grandparents still have a latex filled sofa lasting for around half a century. Try doing this with a foam filled mattress! Although latex mattresses are more expensive, they are likely to last significantly longer, providing both health, economical and environmental benefits. Once a 'modern' foam filled mattress starts aging, it will start crumbling producing extremely unpleasent pile of yellow dust below the bed, full of fire-retardant chemicals. I've never heard of this happening to a latex mattress.

Oct 26,2019I took my time searching for the right mattress, looking for comfort supported by natural, organic materials, no metal springs, plastic or other synthetic stuff. UNA ticks all the boxes. It came in 3 managable sized boxes so it was easier to bring it into the room, unlike other mattresses. I have it set up for medium firmness and it works great for me. Would highly recommend!

Oct 25,2019I love this mattress!!! It is so comfortable and I have been sleeping so much better. I have it with the firm layer on top. I’m not breathing in toxic flame retardants as with all other mattresses and it is organic... what’s not to like?? I have the pillow too and it will last for years and years. I love supporting an ethical company too. I couldn’t be happier. If you are sitting on the fence just go for it, especially if you have little ones who don’t want to sleep on an off gassing mattress!

May 28,2020We are proud owners of a super comfortable organic latex mattress. Communication with Una Organic was fine, mattress was dispatched and arrived swiftly. Our super king size mattress arrived in four boxes, instructions to build the mattress were clear and we built the mattress to our personal requirements easily. No complaints. Our mattress is great!
