Nov 28,2024Got charged twice this month. Not really happy. Also pay £600 in bills a month for a 4 bed house so a bit crazy. Lindsey was helpful to get my refund.

Nov 28,2024I have moved into a flat for my last year of university in leeds and have not been warned about having a pre payment meter. This isn’t a massive issue until we find out that theyre waiting for the supplier to change it to a smart meter and this takes months! We finally get a date! - february… We finish uni in may leave in june what use is this? The website and emails you get tell you it takes 3 days for your refund after you top it up and request for the refund with a picture of the receipt. Well this time it didnt arrive in my bank so i call and they say it can take up to 7 days…? I say okay i can wait, then it gets to the 7th day and they tell me theres a back log and it can take up to 14 days…? Well this is a joke now. During this phone call i speak to one guy but i could hardly hear because of all the noise in the background. I phone again and get through to a woman, i explain, she tries telling me i haven’t requested the refund, i have only spoke to one person before her yet i called 3 times before this? I explain my situation and when she tells me 14 days i told her shes going to have to change my bills date because i need my refund in order to oay my bills then she asks me what day i want to pay bills on…!? How am i supposed to know when you’re witholding my refund? I tell her well whenever my refund is returned to my bank then i can pay you and she still expects me to have a date in mind? She was rude and made no efforts in consoling me at all. They’re supposed to be a student company yet they talk to you like you’re stupid! After the delay of the refund who knows when i am going to get it back. We have to go home for christmas so we have to spend hundreds of £’s to ensure the meter is topped up but if theres that much of a back log on refunds we wont be getting that money back in time for christmas.

Nov 27,2024This company is good for providing uncapped utilities which can be enjoyed throughout the year. However, communication isn't always very clear and we still had to pay bills over summer when not living here, so more clarity over how to go about this would be super helpful! Overall, this is a pretty good company, especially the unlimited aspect! On the house searching side, the website is super clear and it is easy to see prices and number of bedrooms, which is helpful

The website provided various information needed to understand the house, the layout, what was specifically included in the bills, etc. The only factor I would change is to get more updates about deadlines if a property has been purchased sooner so we can look for other options.
