Nov 20,2024I lived in All Saints Court in my first year and Fountains court in my second year due to extenuating circumstance so I have had to opportunity to try them both. I’ve listed the main differences i have found that impact upon the experience of actually living here. So basically here’s everything you need to know: Fountains Pros - bigger kitchen/ living room area - newer ovens - 3 fridges and 2 freezers between 9 people - WAY better bathroom. All saints doesn’t have a proper shower. Fountains has a glass door and proper raised floor for shower preventing flooding. - brighter main light in bedroom. The one in all saints is quite weak. - radiator in room so can adjust temperature more easily. All saints has underfloor heating that doesn’t work as well - nicer colours that clash less in the bedroom (in my opinion) - setting off the fire alarm in the flat by accident doesn’t set off the fire alarm in the whole building (it is so loud and annoying). - has post room, pool tables, vending machines and couches/chairs/tables on the ground floor. One of the all saints buildings has a vending machine but that’s it really. - easier to get to laundry room, little less of a walk All Saints Pros - better/softer sofa with removable cushions - better chairs in kitchen. Not as flimsy. - 2 fridge/freezers between 6 people - slightly bigger bedroom - built in safe in the wardrobe - bigger window opening at the top - more pegs for jackets/coats. 5 as apposed to 2 in fountains. - slightly bigger desk/desk drawers since the room is a little bigger - has a little shelf above head area of bed can be used as bedside table. Fountains has nothing like this. - easier to order takeaway, little bit less of a walk
