As an aspiring full-time van lifer, having reliable climate control is essential. Velit has completely changed the game with their affordable and high-quality AC and heating systems. Their diesel heater is a lifesaver in cold weather. It's compact, efficient, and heats up my van quickly. I love being able to control it with my phone using their app, which is super user-friendly. And the built-in CO2 sensor gives me peace of mind knowing I'm staying safe. The AC unit is equally impressive. It's powerful enough to keep my van cool even on scorching summer days, and it's surprisingly quiet. Plus, it's incredibly energy efficient, which is crucial for off-grid living. What really sets Velit apart is the value. Their products are significantly more affordable than other brands, but the quality is top-notch. They clearly care about making van life more comfortable and accessible for everyone. If you're looking to upgrade your van's climate control, look no further than Velit. Their products are game changers!
I ordered a 12 V AC unit not realizing that my van battery wouldn’t provide the 60 amps needed to run it. Velit worked with me to arrange a refund in a way that avoided both shipping and restocking charges. So, even though it was my mistake, Velit handled my return so that I ended up with a complete refund, including shipping, that was handled both professionally and generously. This company went far above and beyond my expectations.
bought the velit gasoline heather 4000 w 14000 btu Install in November been using it this winter and it perform admirably ,cheap on gaz ,plug in my transit fuel tank ,it comes whit everything you will need to install ,good price ,good quality
Quick great service. I will be back for more as my van progresses.
Awesome heater and best price point on the market.
Heater works well at High altitude in the Rockies. Love it
I purchased one of Velit's gasoline heaters for our transit. The install kit is good and the components seem high quality. Upon starting the heater for the first time, it immediately alarmed for high carbon monoxide. None of my other CO meters were going off. I attempted to contact Velit by phone, but nobody answered and they don't have a voicemail. When I contacted them by email, they initially blew me off saying they had never seen this issue. Once I sent them a video of their thermostat bouncing from 0ppm to 5000ppm next to my Klein CO meter, they responded saying that indeed there is a major problem with the thermostats reading incorrectly when exposed to all kinds of other substances such as wood fumes. They did not offer a solution, just said they know of the issue when two days earlier they had never heard of such a thing, and I was made to feel crazy or inept. Anyway, I have the CO alarm feature turned off. The last thing that I would mention is that the pump is most definitely NOT silent despite their claim that it is. It is very loud when it first starts, but will get quieter especially if run on full, but after many hours on low, there is a very audible click click click both inside the van and out. Velit has some great products, but they need to be a bit more honest with their claims and step up their support. I would be very anxious about buying one of their rooftop AC units for these reasons.
I installed this air con into my sprinter so my dogs could stay cool when I take them out to dog shows. I can leave my dogs in the van in boiling hot days and know they are cool inside. Other pple with vans have approach me and came and checked out my set up. I installed a solar panel kit 200watts and I have 2 batteries boxes that it runs off. I can run it off these, have my fridge and TV going all day and not run out of power. Best thing I have bought in a long time and would recommend this air con to anyone. No more stress at the dog shows and I get to sit back and chill with them while waiting to have my dogs judged.
Great product. Works great for half the cost of other ones.
Purchased a Velit 4000P heater - initial instal went great, but there was an issue with the original wiring harness. Tech support was a great help and diagnosed the issue. All working great now.
Great heater. Works good! Few thing to be better. Fuel pump noise is little bit louder. I needed one more exhaust pipe to run from heater to muffler. Air vent outlet, I can’t control that hot air blow straight, Only up down and side but not straight. This heater makes my winter camping level up to luxury.
Ordering was a great experience. Bought when on sale around (shortly after) Black Friday. Shipped in a timely manner, and for traveling freight across the country it arrived rather quickly. Most importantly it was packed unbelievably well which I was concerned about. Packed in a rather heavy duty crate with metal reinforced edges, getting damaged wasn't too much of a concern (obviously anything can happen from a deliverer who doesn't care, but mine arrived in perfect condition). Had all the hardware needed though it was missing one nut for some reason (QA missed something, shame, but I had lots in the shop), instructions were fine. My only real complaint is the bracket and gasket squeezes the roof flat. Well, roofs aren't flat, no manufacturer has a flat roof. It'd be nice to have brackets with a slight dome to them, even if the dome rise is different across different vehicles, meet in the middle somewhere or at least the minimum, anything better than flat. Other concerns like the electrical loom didn't have ample space and had to squeeze really tight between the unit and bracket was also a pain, but it worked. Unit works fine, I bench tested before installing (with a power system also set up on bench, testing it all there too). It think the mini is a great system for a small van, seemed ample cooling. I'm in a LWB Transit, not extended, and it seems fine. I also like the extra roof space it'll give me over a full size unit. Installing was fine as a DIYer. It's a light-ish unit for an AC, but extra hands help. I have my van parked a couple feet away from the deck of my house and had a helper slide it down a short ramp to me from the deck to the roof (sounds crazy but we had control over it the whole time, working slow). Much easier than carrying up a ladder, even though it's only about 35 pounds it's awkward. Only other complaint is it comes with a somewhat universal remote, kind of a crappy one, with a bunch of buttons that don't do anything, and the functioning buttons felt universal-remote-like and less intuitive than if it had a more specific remote designed for the unit. But truth be told, we probably won't use the remote anyway, easy enough to control it via the unit. But we might if it had a nicer remote. The price for it makes so much more sense to me than a similar unit for way more money, and the units that are more than twice as much come on. A few more cooling BTUs might help a larger van but a small van that's insulated well will be just fine. All in all, a great unit and great experience and I'd do it again if/when I need to.
I had bought a Chinese brand and couldn’t get any support when it would not work so I had to tear it all out and start again. Thanks for selling something that works well.
We install these AC in our van that we build and they are awesome.
Great customer service through and return and amazing products.
I live in NZ, where Velit doesn't ship, so they suggested I arrange for pickup by courier from their Australian warehouse. They were very helpful in supporting the paperwork and pickup. They provided fast responses and excellent service.
As advertised
Not only does Velit have great innovative products, their customer service is also top notch. Always responsive, always helpful.
