Jun 02,2024Prior to buying from Vintage Sofa Co., we had been let down by a strictly online furniture store with a lead time of ten weeks, which stretched to 20 weeks and, thankfully, we finally had our money refunded. Subsequently, we didn't find anything we liked in the cold, high street stores - all we found there were pushy sales people... An online search led us to Vintage Sofa Co. Everything looked beautiful on their tastefully designed website. (I'm a web designer, so I'm aware that you only get one chance to make a first impression.) Following our previous bad experience, we were reticent to purchase unseen online; so we arranged a 400 mile round-trip to Yorkshire. To say their showroom is 'off the beaten track' is an understatement! (Thank you, SatNav!) We were not prepared for the splendour that greeted us as we stepped into Jowler Mill. (If you look at the photographs on their website, you'll get an inkling.) We'd spoken extensively with George prior to our visit. We'd already narrowed our favourites down to two ranges: Albert and Oliver. After much deliberation we finally settled for an Oliver four-seater and a two-seater in pink cerise, complemented by an accent chair and an Albert footstool in teal. George spent about three hours with us. (Not relevant, but the chocolate brownie made by (I think it was) Ben was amazing!) Fortunately, everything we'd chosen was in stock. Delivery by a two-man team was efficient and courteous. The quality is outstanding and it looks stunning in our living room. I don't often rave about anything but this company has given us possibly the best shopping experience we have ever had. Thank you!

May 31,2024Received my second sofa from this amazing company who are so easy to deal with. Great knowledge and very helpful. Howard sofa in green with added zebra print scatter cushions looks fabulous and very comfortable. Love all they do.

May 31,2024Just purchased the Marine 4 Seater! honestly, what a comfortable sofa. If you buying sofas or furniture you absolutely must come to the showroom. you definitely wont be disappointed. You even get free drinks and cake!!!!

May 31,2024Having already bought a sofa from Vintage Sofa last year (with rave reviews from 2 friends!), this was my first port of call when looking for a signature chair for my main bedroom. Easy website, good pictures and description helped and delivery organised very efficiently. I also profited from a sale on small pouffe and also free delivery which was a bonus. I will undoubtedly be back for more in the future!

May 30,2024I bought the sofa online without seeing it in person, so I had quite a few questions and the people I spoke to were very helpful and knowledgeable. It was nice to speak to real people who know their business. Delivery service was excellent too.

May 22,2024We were looking for classic leather furniture and while there are lots of shops out there that do this, the professional website and local family business vibe drew us towards Vintage Sofa Co. and we are so glad it did. We bought a sofa, chair and footstool and all items exceeded our expectations. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship involved in creating these items showed that the people who made them really care about what they do. The customer service was excellent from start to finish and with a smaller company like this you really get that personal touch which I appreciate. Even the delivery men communicated well, were prompt with delivery and quickly and efficiently put together the furniture for us. We are so happy with our purchases that we are already looking at other items and have been very kindly sent material swatches by George to help us make our decision. Will certainly buy from Vintage Sofa Co. again in the future because in a time where quality products and good customer service is so hard to come by it is great to find a company that you can rely on for both!

May 21,2024My new sofa is beautiful. The fabric is soft and it is very well made. I had to call their customer service department several time to arrange for the removal of my old sofa which they arranged without any bother. 5 stars all round.

May 20,2024A warm welcome when we arrived, we were left to enjoy our tea and coffee as we got plenty of ideas wandering around. Five minutes was all it took to find our sofa. As someone who isn’t a great interior designer it is wonderful to get inspired by the way things are presented. We bought two cushions and already had our eye on our next purchase! Well worth a visit.

Visiting the showroom was a great experience, good knowledgeable staff and lovely coffee and the furniture spoke for itself, everything seemed of the highest quality. The suite came a little earlier than anticipated so great. The suite is so comfortable and looks great, we're very happy indeed.

May 15,2024What a gorgeous place this showroom is and the staff are absolutely fantastic, so helpful and with no pressure at all. We drove 41/2 hours to get here and it was worth every minute of the drive. We found our perfect sofa pretty much straight away plus extras 🥰🤣and everything was delivered on time and even the delivery drivers were great, they unpacked everything and took away the wrapping and I honestly can’t wait to go back again. So thank you again xx

May 10,2024We went to the mill to try the sofa I had seen online and wow! I was so pleased we’d made the trip. The place is amazing! Like an Aladdin’s Cave! I loved the sofa and then went home to decide on the size. I ordered it the same day and it came 4 days later. The delivery was brilliant. The sofa was in a big box and all wrapped up too when the box was opened. The boys who brought it were fab too! They were very careful and very respectful of our home. They even offered to help us put some of our furniture back. I am thrilled to bits with my sofa and it’s such good value too.
