From the initial visit to the INCREDIBLE showroom, where we were assisted by the lovely owner, to the delivery & aftercare, nothing has been too much hassle. Jun 22,2023From the onset the staff were quick and efficient, communication was easy and prompt. We were unsure on materials and buying blind so ordered samples. Georgina was very helpful and agreed for us to order with a money back guarantee if we didn't like the sample (in order to get the bank holiday discount). The timescale of the sofa was very reasonable and arrived on time. The sofa is very well made, of lovely quality and true to the online photos, it is clear it is built to last. The courier company was easy to deal with, helpful and efficient. All in all we are very pleased with our purchase and would be happy to recommend the team at Vintage Sofa Company to anyone.

Jun 13,2023What an amazing small company, providing unbelievably beautiful items! I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for until discovering the Vintage Sofa Company. But once I began exploring their stock, so many of my wish list items were there to choose from. The hardest part is deciding which ones to go for :) I ended up buying a beautiful velvet sofa and two huge illuminated wall clocks. Customer service was first class all the way! Will definitely be a returning customer.

Jun 10,2023Finding a family run business as amazing is Vintage Sofa Company is a rare thing these days and what sets them apart is their passion for what they do. Having already purchased a beautiful Howard chaise lounger a few months ago, we ordered a Spink and Edgar Monique bed, as we had seen the bed in the showroom on our previous visit. As we wanted to have the bed upholstered in a bright patterned velvet, George kindly exchanged several emails with us over the coming months to get samples and pick out the right combination. We made another visit and placed our order for this beautiful bed and we were kept fully informed all the way through until the bed was delivered. The end result is absolutely stunning and we will definitely be making further purchases in the future. Thanks again to the whole team!

Jun 08,2023We spent around 3k on a oskar sofa just had it one month and we noticed that the stitching was threading away from the sofa. I am absolutely gutted to spend that kind of money but only to receive poor workman ship on the product. The sofa was purchased to be showed in our house abroad which cost extra to ship the sofa. I am absolutely dissapointed to have the sofa for around a month and this happens. Given my opinion on the workmanship and how they make out and make you feel that there sofa are one of a kind it makes me think that actually 🤔 they are the same as another sofa company on yhe High Street and you can buy sofa with better workmanship on them be careful watch what you.buy thanks for replying but we already done that we reached out to the that team u message because I exported it there is nothing u can do but you could of at least offered a discount on my other purchases I made with you. I ve been following ur company for just over 2 yrs and what a complete waste of my money I might as well of thrown my money in the bin. I feel let down at least you could of apologised offered some sort of discount. Georgina knows already im outside the country and showed her what I wanted the oskar sofa was a complete let down faulty and still they sent it

Jun 06,2023Highly recommended. What a revelation this company is! How wonderful to actually speak to actual people who actually know what they are talking about! This was reassuring as we were not able to visit the showroom and had only seen social media photos and the website. Communication was excellent and our messages and queries responded to promptly. The only difficulty in the whole process was which of the beautiful items to choose and in which colour. We plumped for the Howard Loveseat in Turmeric and one of the huge Moonflower rugs for our bedroom. So, so pleased. Both are fabulous in terms of quality and price AND…. the loveseat was in stock and we were offered delivery within 7 days. None of this waiting for 3 months only to be told there is a delay and you’ll have to wait for a further infinite time for delivery that you experience with the big names. As it happens we were not quite ready (still decorating) and asked if we could delay for a month? Not a problem. They stored our items and contacted us as promised on a day that had been previously agreed and delivered at our convenience. Oh what joy to buy from a family company whose customer service is of a standard we rarely see anymore.

Jun 01,2023After contacting Katie via Facebook regarding a chesterfield sofa we made our way to the Vintage Sofa Company We were greeted by Katie and shown around beautiful showroom and enjoyed coffee and cake too. The showroom is full of little gems which are also for sale and so I came away with not only an amazing sofa but some other quirky things which I love. I would highly recommend a visit as you won’t be disappointed. .

Jun 01,2023After thirty years our sofas were starting to look a little tired . It was time to start looking for new ones, so the hunt began to find something of equal quality that I could hopefully love as much, I like to explore every possible avenue before making a purchase . The quality and look comes first and foremost, comfort, size and price were all factors too. After visiting all the sofa showrooms I possibly could, sadly I found nothing that blew me away. After then trawling online I came across the Vintage Sofa Company, my first thought was that all their sofa’s, beautiful as they are, were quite dark in colour and wanting something lighter and brighter, were maybe not for me. However, I felt I needed to visit and take a look, even if it was just another place to rule out. On arrival we were welcomed by the lovely Kate and her daughter Georgina, both incredibly personable, not pushy on sales, but exceptionally helpful and informative, wow! what a showroom! Spread over three floors, something for everyone, well that’s if you want quality and also have taste😉 a proper Aladdin’s cave, most things in the showroom are darker in colour but all timeless pieces, they have some amazing beautiful fabrics and designs to choose from, we soon found the sofa, love chair and fabrics we had been looking for as they do bespoke furniture too, a combination of light and bright colours, as the sofa and love chair we ordered are British made we were told it would be approximately 8 weeks for delivery, we received it within 6, even better still. I can’t recommend the Vintage Sofa highly enough and I’m not someone who dishes out or receives compliments easily, the whole experience from start to finish was 10 out of 10,faultless exceptional family run business. I wish them every future success, they deserve it.

May 31,2023Stunning showroom, a real hidden gem. Top service, i received my sofas today and they are amazing quality. Never seen such well made , high end quality British sofas before. I cannot recommend enough, if you pay a visit to the showroom it speaks for itself . Staff were very friendly and inviting, nothing was too much we even got some sweet bakes and hot drinks
