Apr 10,2025Well well well! If Vintage Sofa Company (Yorkshire) was a ship it would be the Titanic, if it were a hotel it would be The Savoy and if it were a car it would be an Aston Martin! Basically it’s luxury, quality, outstanding customer service, crème de la creme, the best! We visited the showroom in deepest darkest Peru (oops typo, it should say Yalkshaaar) and after driving past it 3 times we saw the tiny sign and followed the Tolkien trail to the old mill and what a beautiful setting. On arrival we were met with offers of complimentary drinks and homemade rocky road which by the way is the best rocky road this side of the Atlantic! Amazed by the display of goodies on offer, if your a Maximalist like us it’s absolute heaven and constitutes an actual day out red letter experience! The place is enchanting and not only did it look great it smelt great too, every detail was covered and we didn’t want to leave (seriously we were there for over 3 hours). After perusing around we decided to have a chat about our sofa options and some little bits to take home there and then. We chose a patchwork leather 3 seater Oskar chesterfield and had multiple options in its design, the attention to customer satisfaction and detail was first class we felt very special and looked after, nothing was a burden or a problem. Once ordered we took away a set of Parrot Brass Sconces and Natalie even sold us the candles that were with it, great to save us sourcing from A**z*n! Also an Octopus wine holder (brass) and off we went! 8 weeks later the sofa arrived, brilliant delivery service and communication. Sofa looks amazing and everybody who has seen it just says ‘WOW’ that must have been very expensive! Actually it would have cost twice the price anywhere else! Believe the reviews ignore the fools, visit and you too will see the light! We can’t wait to go back to order our matching Wingback chair and poof!! Oh and chandelier & giraffe lamp & cushions & brass stag ice bucket, neon sheepskin rug, blah blah blah (maybe we should stay away this is gonna financially ruin us with so many things we want).

Apr 09,2025This place is absolutely fantastic. I’ve bought various pieces from them, most recently two rugs, a double sheepskin and the Howard two seater scatter back. Delighted with everything. Great service and excellent value, wouldn’t shop anywhere else and highly recommend.

Not only did we buy the sofa but but we purchased lots of accessories for our living room. The showroom itself is just stunning, the location is breathtaking and the customer service that we received from Chloe was second to none. I cannot recommend this company highly enough and we can’t wait to return. Even if it’s just for a browse, cuppa and a rocky road

Ella is Amazing, Very Polite and Helpful. I just couldn’t resist purchasing a Double Sheepskin to lay across the back of our Vintage Sofa Purchased through Ella too! A touch of Luxury to come home to!

Apr 08,2025My two sofas have arrived and are just perfect! It's been a bit of an epic journey but the sofas, footstool and cushions along with a sheepskin just work so well together. I've had lots of communication from Vintage Sofa Co and they have been super helpful. It could easily have been a 4* due to glitches with the order but a very well earned 5* for sorting things out and being so helpful. I ordered on line but I'd love to visit the showroom one day soon.

Apr 07,2025Found out that the showroom was within reach so went along - what a treat! Welcomed with tea and cake, tape measures handily dotted about and the beautiful furniture artistically arranged. Bought a sofa and a painting. Sofa was delivered on time and I'm very happy with it. Will definitely shop there again.

Apr 04,2025Ordered 2 Oskar sofas light grey and received wrong colour, they are sage/olive colour and company will not replace or offer compensation for the error. I have asked for colour pictures from the website when on sale and the company have refused to supply and say the have none. I ordered in November 2024 and I sure they must have some to compare. Unhelpful and spent approximately £4000 with them, disgraceful. I also separately ordered a footstool in the same colour and it arrived damaged and it is the grey colour my suite is supposed to be??? So work that one out I have a matching, damaged footstool in the correct colour grey which only demonstrates I have been given the wrong colour sofas. Not happy at all and the footstool is being returned as damaged goods as I do not want a mismatched footstool reminding me of the colour I should have been given. I would not recommend the company at all.

Apr 10,2025Vintage Sofa Co Made a four hour round trip to Halifax to visit the Vintage Sofa Co. Walking into the showroom is a jaw dropping experience! It had the wow factor in bucket loads! We were looking for a sofa and it was hard to choose with all the choice available, we did pick one and cannot wait for it to be delivered around the beginning of June. Katy was very helpful and it was such a pleasure to have her input. I would recommend a visit if you are looking for rugs, lamps, furniture anything for home, you will not be disappointed.
