Oct 12,2022Have used them twice previously to stay in Cala D’Or and Galicia with great experiences. However this summer went to Casa Susana in Catalunya. Multiple broken things in villa - dvd, tv, patio door, fridge door. Ants everywhere despite utmost care with food hygiene and ant traps. All bathrooms need some refreshing - mouldy shower sealant, cracked tiles patched up badly. Peeling and cracked paint in some rooms, ripped curtains, stained bedding. Had to wash sunlounger cushions before could sit on them - they were filthy. Tried to engage with Vintage. Managed to get 5% refund but no acknowledgement that they will send a rep in to look at villa which they maintain is fresh, airy, delightful as advertised. Will not use them again as no confidence in standard of villa they will provide in future. Such a shame as villa in beautiful location and certainly could be lovely again with a modest investment in refreshing and cleaning it.

Sep 28,2022All staff have been polite and responded quickly even though I have been fussy about a few things which included, what appeared to be & still does a high tax de sejour, the rate of exchange they were applying to this, which at the time was very much in their favour, their minute compensation if your holiday is cancelled by them and they don't find you a suitable alternative. Plus at the time they were sending out some wrong information about passports ,which I suggested they check out, only to be told that they felt it was better to do as they were doing rather than say nothing at all, in otherwords risking un-necessary anxiety/ people not going on their booked holiday thinking passport invalid during a time when huge delays to get new ones/ or going to great lengths and expense to get a new one when not needed in the first place. My confidence fell, but to be fair to Vintage they did say I could cancel as I was booking a year in advance and have a full refund provided I accepted within 7 days but I declined believing at the time that the venue was special,the pictures and description looked & sounded so good. I did however ask for the address as was going to be near enough to take a special trip to check it out. Even though I had paid £779.20 intial deposit this was declined saying they couldn't give the information until holiday paid in full. The address was available elsewhere so we set off to find it, despite a sat nav we ended up spending hours driving around , frustrated and wondering why we weren't entittled to know location details. Maybe they didn't want us to see, certainly I was horified when I did find it, as although we couldn't get into the house itself, which may well be fine, the surrounding area was totally unsuitable & the little we could see of the property itself didn't appeal. The good bit we are so very glad we went and checked it out & I have been offered a refund should someone else book the property for our week so I wont say which Villa as writing this review is already prejudiing my chance of getting my £779 back . So all I can say is do be careful , that glossy exterior might give a false impression and I would hate for others to find themselves in the postition I am now in or even worse turn up and that special holiday not be what one had dreamed of and planned.

Aug 25,2022Vintage Travel.-The property Mas Mascaro-Spain is nothing like the pictures. It is dark and extremely dusty. Asthmatics beware this is totally uninhabitable. The company didn’t offer any form of compensation or partial refund -even though two of our family are seriously asthmatic. Do not use this company. You may as well take your money and burn it. Absolutely dreadful service. We’ve used this company before and the properties have been good but this one should not be on their books and we are still £3000 down. Beware beware beware

Apr 24,2022Like so many others, we booked a villa through VT pre-pandemic for summer 2020. When it became clear that we were not going to be able to travel, they were very helpful and efficient (as well as just lovely to deal with) allowing us to postpone the booking repeatedly. We're now booked to go in summer 2022 and are hoping that all will go smoothly. Can't yet comment on the villa itself, but have been delighted with the way that they have treated us to date.

Apr 06,2022Think very carefully before booking a holiday with Vintage Travel. You pay in full for a villa on trust that it is represented accurately in their brochure. If it is not, you will not only have a ruined holiday, you will also lose all your money. We went to ABTA with our complaint and then to arbitration (ABTA outsource this and it costs more money and took 6 months to get a decision). Despite being sold a broken, dirty, dump of a house in Provence (La Farigoule) which we refused to stay in when we arrived and were then offered (for an extra £8k upfront and also unseen) another villa that had a huge, constantly noisy building site right outside the kitchen, rats and a pool with no water (Mas du Ciel), ABTA ruled against us and we have not been compensated one penny for a terrible two weeks in France. Do not book with Vintage Travel. Stay in a hotel.

They have always provided excellent service - phone calls are answered quickly, the staff are knowledgeable and booking processes are efficient. The company has a wide range of locations and villas which are easy to research on the well designed and informative website. The travel itinerary pack always includes useful local information and detailed directions, including photos for extra reassurance. Whenever we have contacted the local rep for assistance they have been friendly and helpful, resolving issues reassuringly and smoothly, ensuring we were able to fully enjoy our holiday. Having stayed at several of their properties throughout Spain we have never been disappointed and Vintage Travel is our number one choice for a villa holiday.

Dec 29,2021We have used Vintage Travel for many years, and cannot speak highly enough of them, from the people in the office to their reps 'on the ground'. For the past eleven years (prior to the last two Covid years), we have spent a week each autumn at Alcornocosa, near the little town of El Bosque in Andalucia - a property as near-idyllic as one could find! The house is really comfortable - quite modern but built with an eye to the old Spanish style - and sits in gardens with amazing views of lakes below and mountains in the near distance. A gem of a holiday home, with countryside offering magnificent walking in a quiet, un-touristy corner of Spain.

During COVID, they have rearranged our holiday bookings multiple times due to travel restrictions. We cannot thank them enough as this has allowed us to holiday with minimal stress over the last two years! We have already booked for 2022 and cannot wait!

Local representatives have always been very helpful, on one holiday they kindly lent me some crutches after damaging my ankle. Always efficient from booking through to the holiday, always book car hire from them as you can pick up the car from the airport. No worries about recommending them as a good company.

The reps are second to none always very helpful and their local knowledge is great. This is a travel company you can trust to give you the best holiday experience ever. Dec 20,2021We recently had a two week stay at Villa Dafni in Kefalonia. Wow what a villa. Traditional looking building, but once inside it was fabulous. Then open the shutters on to the veranda to a fantastic swimming pool, and amazing views. Even though we couldn't meet our rep Mandy(covid restrictions), Mandy was really helpful. Really peaceful location, we loved it. Would highly recommend Villa Dafni and would stay again

Oct 13,2022We stayed at Villa Ca Na Reieta near Pollensa Mallorca in September 2022. The villa is in a lovely setting with a nice pool. But it is in need of some repairs and maintenance. Cupboard and window catches missing / broken. The bathroom has only one small shelf, this was loose, the washbasin drain was blocked and the taps only just flowed, due to a build up of calcium in the filters, we had to clean them, there is a shaving morrow but the bracket is broken so it just hangs down. The safe did not work, the rep said it needed new batteries, it was our last Friday before they were fitted! The lights and power did not work in the pool side toilet along with the light at the gate. The quality of the bedding and towels was very poor, and we had to wash them before we could use them. In order to open/close the shutters at the rear and side of the villa, you have to walk round outside, there is no pathway it is just one big trip hazard. Upon return to the UK we contacted Vintage Travel and they responded well to our complaints, and we were given a discount
