Jun 10,2023Excellent property and excellent service. We have used Vintage Travel many a time but this was the first time we had a rep look after us. Linda checked in on us before and throughout. Helped us with the Villa, recommended places to and where to eat and even booked restaurants, taxis and a boat for us. It really made our holiday even better!

Jun 06,2023We have had about 10 villa experiences with Vintage Travel and they have honestly never failed to please us. The last villa we stayed at was for a month and it was probably the best ever holiday we’ve had. All the villas have been fabulous but of course you have a favourite! We have tried other villa companies but keep returning to reliable Vintage Travel. I feel that I have a commitment to them not only because I know they are great but also because they were superb during the awful pandemic. While we are able we hope to enjoy more of Vintage holidays and will always recommend them to friends and family.

May 07,2023First time we have booked with Vintage Travel, but definitely won't be the last. Stunning array of villas to choose from. We stayed in Villa Luciana in the Konavle area near Dubrovnik, Croatia. The pictures on the website do not do this villa justice, it is beautiful, so clean and comfortable with a lovely private pool area. The owner is so welcoming and helpful and greeted us by offering us a glass of her husband's homemade wine which was delicious. We shall definitely be returning!

Apr 20,2023We stayed at Villa Gomes near Faro for a week at the beginning of April. The Villa was first class - well equipped, comfortable and very private - and good value for money. The local manager was very helpful and Vintage Travel's administration was efficient. I would definitely use this company again.

Mar 06,2023Mas du Moulin - Very disappointing village house with loads of huge black bees swarming in the hedges at each end of the pool, very offputting when trying to swim, couldn't open the French doors properly from lounge into terrace, woken early by loud fire alarm going off as batteries needed replacing and couldn’t reach it to turn it off (was taken away but not fixed during our stay), cracked plastic sun loungers in garden, worn and tired garden furniture, some kitchen cookware in cupboard not very clean, ants trailing through lounge - all in all a very tired property with many issues that spoilt our holiday. The rep was unable to visit this area in person, which I wasn’t made aware of when I booked, and although the caretaker who came instead was willing, he was unable to resolve some of the problems for us whilst we were there. Disappointing response from Vintage travel on our return - no offer of any recompense for the issues we experienced or any gesture of goodwill. Definitely would not book with them again because of this. On a positive note, a member of the office staff was very pleasant and helpful during Covid when a previous holiday had to be cancelled.

Feb 07,2023We have been letting our villa Casa Verity in Tamariu through Vintage Travel since 2006. They have high standards and ensure that the villa is thoroughly cleaned, with fresh linen and towels and a good hamper for the important first meal on arrival. Guest reviews are always so positive. The local representative Valerie is always so helpful, not just for the guests but also to us, the owners. Vintage are a thoroughly professional organisation, all the staff are so friendly and helpful and the villas are first class.

They have stunning villas in stunning locations. The villas have everything that you could possibly need and the owner / VT representative is always at hand if you need them. Vintage Travel really is the complete package.

Dec 05,2022The villa we booked in Galicia was excellent. I would say better than the photographs. Spacious and well equipped. The owners were away but the neighbour checked everthing was okay. The prior information from Vintage Travel was excellent. The welcome pack of food was one of the best we have had.

Nov 30,2022Pleasant staff answering phone etc - always helpful if enquiries. Great villas and reasonable prices (often cheaper than rivals). Overseas rep - helpful and informative. Good to know somebody available if a problem. Easy car hire. Great welcome pack of food at Villa Kirki and really lovely villa and pool. Everything provided that you could possibly need and very clean and well maintained.

Above all, Greece are far the most clean and beautiful ones. We are definitely going to plan other holidays with Vintage Travel. Thank you for nice holiday memories!

Nov 28,2022The villa was lovely but more importantly, as we were travelling with a one year old, they were happy to answer all concerns and the owners lived there and were so helpful. Taking us to the local shops on arrival, organizing a hire company, umbrella for the beach. Nothing was too much trouble

Oct 28,2022We stayed in Casa Suenos from 24/9/22 to 8/10/22 - actually until 6/10/22 as things were so bad. We booked the villa because of its location, views and amenities - it was at a good price which seemed to become relevant in Vintage Travel's view of what they should have done later on. On arrival, we found the villa to be pretty much expected with a few bits and pieces needing attention but nothing that we needed attending to. However, across the road, work was in progress on re-roofing a property and across the other side of a small valley around 100m away was a half built property in which we had seen people on our arrival. When the rep arrived the following day, we made here aware of concerns that work was going on - she couldn't have been less interested and even told us during this conversation that she wasn't bothered if she was made redundant. On the Monday, roofing work started on the house - not too noisy in itself but during the day the radio got louder and louder at a level that made normal conversation difficult. After the roofers had gone, some drilling work started in the building site that lasted an hour or so. We didn't make a fuss as clearly the rep had no interest and as the actual construction work at that time wasn't too noisy. That was the pattern for the next three days and we resolved to make the best of it on the basis we expected the roofers to finish soon (they were actually still there when we left on 6 October). On the first Thursday morning, we discovered that large machinery had been brought on to the construction site - a crane and an excavator. At this point we made the rep aware as they had started using a large concrete breaker along with other drilling equipment. Together with the roofer's radio on full, no escape from the noise. The rep came back to us later that afternoon saying that there shouldn't be any work taking place but this was to lay a pipe and they would be finished that day or the next. On this basis, we thought we would at least get some peace and quiet from then. The construction site work stopped mid Friday afternoon but the roofers were back again on the Saturday. On the Monday, we contacted the rep again as the construction work had started again (along with the roofers radio) and this time they had a concrete breaker, a pneumatic drill and hand held breakers which went on all day. We had no answer back from the rep so in the evening, I e-mailed Vintage Travel asking for a reply. Work started again Tuesday morning at around 7.30am on both sites. I then had a call from Vintage again reiterating no work should be taking place and that the rep was going to the town hall and police to get it stopped. The office in England then phoned back later in the afternoon to tell us that the builders did have a permit after all, they could carry out construction work but they had agreed to stop at 1pm and invited us to enjoy the rest of our holiday. Work went on til around 7pm that night and started again the following morning. We made the decision that we would return home early as there was no enjoyment to be had in staying and booked a flight for the following day. and telling Vintage that's what we had done. Again, the work went on until after 7pm. No-one from Vintage then contacted us at all to ask if we needed anything - we never saw the rep after the first Sunday despite what was going on. I made clear that we did not hold them responsible for the work which had started but that we felt they had not responded appropriately when it was clear that noisy work was taking place on that first Thursday morning. They took no effective action and, as the builders had been granted a permit, we believe that Vintage could have obtained this information easily had they bothered to check. This was an existing site and in the visitors book, other people reported being disturbed by construction noise from the same site. We alerted the rep we had seen people in the building when we arrived I've now had 2 lengthy conversations with their MD who has given me sob stories of how they can't get anything back on this, about his poor stay in a hotel and had to listen to him reading glowing reviews from other customers but no acceptance that if they had told us in the first week that this was ongoing, we would have had options. It would seem that we didn't pay enough for this holiday for them to consider moving us but hadn't the decency to ask us if we wanted to move at extra cost or given us the option to return early and at least get a week's time off work back. He didn't even have the guts to phone me to say their position was unchanged. Clearly they get some holidays right from the reviews but when things go wrong they are hopeless and seem to be more interested in not losing money than putting things right insofar as they can be. No doubt the usual Vintage response will be posted in reply!

Oct 15,2022This was our first time with Vintage travel. We stayed at Casa Palmeira about 15 minutes drive in the hills from Vilamoura on The Algarve. You do therefore need a car, if you wish to go out in the evening or to the beaches and restaurants for lunch. We essentially were at the villa post fabulous Wedding Weekend! The Villa was large with plenty of garden and parking, clean and very spacious with an extra bathroom, loads of storage space and with large pool and small children's pool, only used for sitting and reading a good book! BBQ and games tables. All outside areas were spotless too! Staff very friendly. Declined one of our cleans and sheets? towel as not necessary. There are a lot of wooden cupboards, which some may say are a bit old fashioned and could do with an extra chair, if I was picky, around sitting room area! The Welcome Pack of food, fruit and drinks and wine was very extensive, appreciated and enjoyed! All communication with Vintage Travel was clear, friendly and efficient. We were very fortunate to be able to extend our visit by an extra night/day too when out in Portugal and this was also dealt with swiftly and easily. Their local Rep (we didn't meet) went above and beyond to deliver my husbands mobile to friends in Vilamoura to bring home to UK for him when he left it on a table outside! Much appreciated!! I certainly will look to book with Vintage travel again>

Oct 14,2022I would thoroughly recommend Vintage Travel. We Stayed at Villa Filio in Corfu for two weeks and could not have wished for nicer accommodation. The pool and view are fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I have booked it again for next May. There are a couple of issues, no fire extinguisher or fire blanket and no first aid kit. This did not detract from our enjoyment of our stay and I am sure this will be addressed in closed season. I have also stayed in the property next door and that was equally as good. Vintage Travel have excellent Villas in Corfu in comparison with other Villa Companies operating in this location and they offer great value for money. I have previously booked with most of them, but will stick with Vintage going forward.

The service from Vintage Travel has been amazing too - great info before booking from local staff who really know the area and made great recommendations. In resort staff are on hand if you need them. I'd highly recommend!
