Dec 15,2021I had a very positive experience traveling to Corfu with Vintage Travel. The villa was lovely, in a quiet part of the island, and we enjoyed visiting the nearby beaches and fishing villages. The website has an excellent range of properties - I would like to stay in them all!

Dec 15,2021We traveled to South Africa and had a wonderful holiday. The tours guides were friendly and knowledgable. The accommodation was great. The excursions were well organised and very interesting The trip to the township was an eye opener and I got to lead a singsong with the children in a nursery school Altogether most satisfactory.
Still Skiing after all these years
Dec 15,2021We had booked a villa in Portugal for a big family gathering in the summer of 2020. Of course that was killed by Covid and when I discussed with Vintage what we could do, they were extremely flexible and gave us a long credit that could be used by any member of the family which suited us fine. In fact we rolled forward a year and booked a Villa again for the 11 of us in August 2021. It was lovely. The villa was as described, a 500 year old farmhouse with outbuildings and a pool. The owner was very helpful, laying out a meal for us all on arrival and popping in from time to time with home baked cakes and wine from his vineyard. We picked fresh fruit off the trees for breakfast. Our daughter also used Vintage a few years ago and had a very happy experience.

Dec 15,2021Although we haven’t travelled for a while now due to restrictions, we have, on more than one occasion, used Vintage Travel. I would not hesitate to recommend them as on every occasion planning and booking our holiday was carried out without a hitch. The website is easy to negotiate and on the occasions I have spoken to a travel consultant they have been very helpful, friendly and courteous. All paperwork etc arrived on time and the whole process has always been seamless. Highly recommend and will use again once we are travelling once more!

Dec 15,2021I have used Vintage Travel numerous times and can’t fault them at all. The choice of properties and locations are amazing, the houses are always spotless and well appointed. We have used the luxury properties and they are a real treat! The service from resident reps is amazing, always there if you need something. My son even got a gift when we holidayed over his birthday! All in all, a fabulous company that I never hesitate to use time and again.

Dec 15,2021Great experience using Vintage Travel!! I have booked with them about 4-5 times now, for Italy, France & Spain. Their properties are always of great quality and haven't had one yet that has been in a bad location! Plus on top of that, their customer service is outstanding - always keeping me updated. There was actually a problem with a French property I rented just the day before I was due to set off and they sorted an upgraded property for me and all the logistics to go with it ... top marks Vintage!

Dec 15,2021We as an extended family have used vintage travel 4 or 5 times over the years in mallorca and mainland Spain. When booking we have often spoken directly to their UK staff, to ask questions about a particular villa, location etc to ensure our choice is suitable. We understand that the best villas, most suitable villas do tend to be rented first so generally try to book early when we are looking for a family villa escape. We have had 4 villas that were exceptionally good in mallorca and one less so in mainland Spain. All however were well located, largely as described in the brochure and provided good breaks for our family. We have had mixed weather during some of our villa holidays and although this does affect the holiday mood such events are beyond the control of the company. In the same way we have had issues with ants, endemic in the Mediterranean and in mainland Spain significant issues with mosquitoes which we feel ought to be highlighted by all travel companies but again outside of the companies control. During our last villa holiday to mainland Spain the villa we rented through vintage travel had a number of issues, some delt with at the time by the representative and some not. On our return we put our concerns in writing to vintage travel who provided some financial compensation. They listened and responded appropriately. I expect given the numbers of properties they rent there will be some that might not live up to expectations. We will undoubtedly use vintage again but will ensure before we commit to undertake our own 'due diligence', discuss with the UK representatives our needs in detail to ensure the villa we rent is most suitable. We had a magnificent, though not cheap, villa in mallorca booked through vintage where we would return to again.

Dec 15,2021We have used Vintage Travel for many years - always a first class service. Choice of villas is amazing - paying only for villa gives the flexibility to book flights at the best price with whomever you choose. The girls in the office have first hand knowledge of the villas as they have all been visited by members of staff. With this first hand knowledge you can ask questions regarding minute detail (coffee machine? nearest neighbours? etc.)Had a fabulous holiday in Crete this year at Villa Kourouni (a put forward holiday from last year) and are looking forward to Lefkada with Vintage in 2022. (Covid permiting!!) Definitely recommend this company.

Dec 15,2021We stayed at a Vintage Travel villa in Mallorca a while ago and it was first class. The booking procedure was straight forward and the staff were really helpful .They arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport and take us to the villa. The villa was really lovely and as described. Couldn't fault this company! We would definitely book with them again.

Dec 15,2021I regularly use Vintage Travel - all villas we have rented as a family have been first class all described clearly and fairly on the website description irrespective of which country. Our visits have included Spain, Mallorca, Croatia etc.

All representatives, both local to the villas and in the UK are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Problems are few but when they occur are resolved speedily and efficiently.

The local representative was kindness itself, he went well beyond his remit to help us with local knowledge and advice. We will use VT again, when planning this type of holiday.
