Warmworks is committed to providing affordable warmth to homes, families and communities across the country. We have helped tens of thousands of people to better manage their energy use and live warmer, happier, healthier lives.
We were founded in 2015 as a joint venture partnership between Energy Saving Trust, Changeworks and Everwarm.
Since then, we have supported more than 35,000 households in Scotland as the Managing Agent of the Scottish Government’s national fuel poverty scheme, Warmer Homes Scotland.
We have continued to expand our work, taking on new contracts and building our presence across the UK. We now have more than 100 members of staff based at our offices in Edinburgh, London, Newcastle, Kirkwall and Stornoway.
Our commitment to our values, to doing the right thing by our people, our customers and our communities, is what defines us as a business.
Our work
Our work is a key part of the drive to reduce carbon emissions and the transition to a net zero society. Our role is to ensure that this transition to low-carbon living, with its rapid shift towards new, renewable technologies in people’s homes, includes everyone, especially those who need extra help and support to adapt to change.

I am completely satisfied with the workmanship that Warmworks and Everwarm completed. I was consistently updated on the progress of the installation and they were always there on time and very helpful with any queries that I had. I highly recommend Warmworks and Everwarm!! A job well done from start to finish.

Dec 21,2024At my age I was worried beforehand about the upheaval that would be caused by having furniture moved and carpets lifted in order to replace and update my old heating system. However, I needn’t have worried. Warmworks guided me through each stage, making the process quick and relatively pain free. The works were carried out both professionally and in a short time. Additionally they also changed the flue, and installed fire and carbon monoxide sensors for me, which I had not expected. I’m glad I’ve had the works done and am pleased with the result.

Dec 20,2024Very good job done by the installers, felt sorry for them as the surveyor made a mistake with three of radiators, three singles instead of double ones, they fitted them anyway as it was freezing temperatures at the time, very considerate installers, returned next day and finished the installation.every thing left so clean and tidy, and house a lot warmer.thank you so much.

Dec 20,2024To WarmWorks & Everwarm for work undertaken June to September 2024:- Warmworks have been amazing throughout - they organised & arranged for the work of installing new storage heaters, electric radiators, a new hot water cylinder. wall heaters, extractor fans & a new front door to be undertaken by Everwarm. The Everwarm personnel who installed the above were polite, helpful, diligent workers their workmanship was excellent & included any clearing away afterwards they left everywhere clean & tidy plus explained all instructions of how to use the new appliances clearly in terms that I could understand which was extremely helpful. The installation of the above heating now affords my home to be a warm comfortable place I no longer dread winter coming & my osteoarthritic condition has improved due to the increased heat in my home. I would certainly recommend Warmworks & Everwarm to family & friends without hesitation & have sent my personal thanks & gratitude to them, at their respective companies for all their hard work completed at my home. Dec 19,2024I had a new gas boiler, pipes and radiators installed as well as old cavity wall insulation removed and replaced with new. All the work was carried out to a high standard and I have received guarantees for the work. My only stress was in the prep work prior to installation. All flooring downstairs needed to be taken up to enable floorboards to be accessed. The time frame was short and I had to purchase a breaker and remove the kitchen floor tiles myself as a tradesperson was not available.

Dec 18,2024The staff are friendly and try hard; however the general organisation is reliant upon this and overall communication is poor. Customers must be proactive as questions have to asked as opposed to the system providing information prior to works occurring.

Dec 18,2024There was a delay of 6 months from start of heating system to completion, caused by Scottish Power installing an earth cable to my house. As soon as this was completed I called the contractor expecting it to be into the new year before they could finish the job but within days they were here to finish the installation. It was done by a great team of guys,very professional, helpful and tidy, as was the inspector who assessed their work.
