Very happy with the service. Tom Hardcastle was especially helpful and always responded very promptly to our questions. A fair price was paid for the property and the sale was completed quickly with Tom's help once lockdown was lifted. Overall, a very positive experience.

Please read!!! Beware of this company never in my life have I left a bad review, but these guys left me no choice, most misleading concept going, our house was vaulued at around 130k...135k we got an offer from these guys 110k sound ok right, but first they needed 2 estate agents...fine by us, luckily for us the 2 they sent had valued it before, both told me the were going to put a valuation of 130 to 135k. They shouldnt of told me that but I had a good chat with both, then the lies started form we buy any home, oh we are waiting on the estate agents they are pulling their heels, 4 weeks or more we waited, to get a guy on the phone saying erm weve not reached what you want as an offer, so we are going to take you down a different route with investors, hold on a minute what's my offer you havnt even told me, oh it's going to be 84k....84k how the hell you come up with that, it's based off the 3 offers the estate agents put forward we just go off what they say it's worth , so I've now spoken to the estate agents who btw are saying that they are fuming with we buy any home and they are taking the matter further and will refuse to deal.with them going forward, the offers that were put forward buy the estate agents are below, I had a second company request them, who also tried the same trick, but I new it was coming, I just wanted the valuations that we buy any home refused to give me. 1st estate agents 135k top end 130k should sell within 6 months These valuations were realistic as we have had valuation at 140k be we get that's just estate agents wanting your business, these guys both said we are pricing this for we buy any home not to be listed with us otherwise it would be higher 2nd estate agents 130k top end 125k to sell within 6 months However they ask for a 3 valuation to sell within a month ( I mean come on that's why I'm using them) This 3rd offer this is the sneaky one. And both put just over 100k So they work the offer based off that last valuation. Sneaky...just so they can get a price really low from 2 estate agents in a valuation. This 3rd offer should of been our offer 104k I'd of let my house go wasnt bothered wanted to move on to out new house. But they use that offer in there valuations and came in at 84k For a fully detached 3 bed house thats fully modernised. They blamed the estate agents saying they were just wanting the business so that's why its priced low, They blamed the estate agents for dragging there heels this also was a lie, they had them the next date but made us wait to see how desperate we were. More scam tactics some people out there just believing their valuations and taking the offer.....total scam, I've now lost the house I had an offer on. My partner has lost endless night sleep fell into depression left her, job, her dream house has now gone all because she believed these guys, its only when I got involved cracks started to show and I realised we were literally being conned. If the review stops one person from using we buy any home, in my option who are total con artists my job is done .

Exceedingly patient with a difficult situation. Very friendly team who did everything in their power to remove the stress from selling, while checking in with regular updates.

Complete waste of time We listed our house up just before Covid with an estate agent for 575k , this company offered 490k,we was not going to accept that first of as it a lot lower than the market price, we then decided to reduce the house with the estate agent to 550k as we keen to move to a house we have secured. We dealt with a Tom hardcastle who promised call back and never called, many days and weeks chasing this person on false call back. We then decide to accept the 490k so we did not loose our new house but now they claim their offer less because we reduced it with the estate agent. The house has not been on the market long an it was our choice to reduce to then use this as an excuse shows what this type of company is like . I am shocked how u was spoken to by another of their agents, a sarcastic lady who had no clue, but for me it the chasing I had to do and time wasting. Avoid is my suggestion and these reviews on here saying they are good are clearly their own staff or people they know. Sell your house via an estate agent

I've never dealt with such lovely people, kept me informed every step of the way and nothing was too much bother. As this was a probate matter I feel they went the extra mile and one person who deserves recognition is Tom, he was so pleasant to deal with and did everything he could to rush the sale through. I would definitely recommend

This was a very difficult time to progress matters, lockdown started slapbang in the middle of selling. However as lockdown started to ease, sale went through quickly. Abby, Matt, Tom and James very professional and kept me updated throughout.

We contacted WBAH in early March with a view to selling our flat as we wanted a larger property that we were going to rent via a private landlord. From the start everything seemed to be going well. We spoke to Tom initially over the phone who explained the process and made an initial cash offer over the phone once he had done some research. An e document was then signed by us and sent back accepting the initial offer. It was explained that the offer would be subject to the property being valued by 2 local estate agents. This was arranged by an external company so the estate agents came out and valued the property. At this point things were put on hold as the lockdown was put in place and we couldn't view any properties so didn't want to go too fast incase we didn't have a property to move into. Tom said this wasn't a problem and that they could go as fast or as slow as we wanted and that we were in control of the dates. We heard nothing for a couple of weeks then Tom called for an update on our property search, at this point we explained that we hadn't been able to view any properties as viewings were unable to go ahead because of the lockdown rules. After another couple of weeks we had found a rental property and gone through the application process and checks and we're all set to go for the middle of June. Tom called again at which point we explained we had found a property and had completed the checks so we're good to go and complete on our property on the date we had set. We then received a phone call from Tom this past Friday to say that he was passing our details on to WBAH's sister company to contact us. At that point we were called by an agent called Hayden who told us that there had been an issue with the agreed purchase price and that he would take on the property and market it to investors with a view to finding a purchaser who would buy the property in 30 days. We explained to him that this had never been discussed and we were completely unaware of why this was happening. Tom had offered us a cash offer we were happy with, now all of a sudden we are speaking to someone else who is just an estate agent who would be finding a buyer. * In response to the reply from WBAH * 1. When our property was valued we were never told that the offer would be reduced and for you to assume that it wouldn't work for us without asking us or making a counter offer is wrong. We weren't told about the lower offer until right at the end after everything else had happened. And we were told it would be roughly what we owed on the mortgage, so around half of the initial offer. I'm only guessing at the amount as we have yet to this day to be offered a second offer. 2. We only spoke to their sister company as we thought they were the ones who were responsible for completing with the cash sale. Not once were we told it was SOLD.co.uk nor were we told why we had been referred to them. 3. Not once did we agree to be sent the documentation from SOLD.co.uk we told them we wouldn't be going down that route as there was no guarantee of a sale THEN the documents were sent. They were sent at around 8-9pm on Friday night, which we declined to sign. 4. As for there being no inconsistent messages, the initial cash offer was £50k yet SOLD.co.uk said it was £55k there's one example. To reply to a review and basically imply that we are lying is another clue that this company should be avoided at all costs. Let's be clear, this is a review of the company and not the advisors who are employed by them, they are only doing as they are told.

Contrary to their marketing, there is zero urgency. The Agents do not call back in any of their timescales. Be very aware whatever 'fair' method of property valuations they use is not at all transparent. You will not see the 3 estimates and they will not match the estimates given if you were to get your own valuation. Therefore any price offered will not be anywhere near market value - X%, more like MV - X% - Y%, whatever Y is. Edit. WeBuyAnyHome contacted me recently. I had such a bad experience with them last year that I didn't want to waste my time with them again. I then decided to write up my experiences to share with other potential clients. WeBuyAnyHome noticed my negative review and asked to contact me. I've wasted enough time with them and chose not to engage further. WeBuyAnyHome pulled my review, presumably they didn't like the honest bad press. I had to verify myself to TrustPilot to get it reinstated. Now they are trying to identify me and they're publishing information that they believe is related to myself. If they have found me I'd be annoyed they have published details that could potentially identify me. If they haven't then they've published details about someone else property. Finally their excuse or reason for a vastly lower valuation doesn't match up. My point being I was satisfied with a fair market valuation less 10~20%. That's not what is on offer, they get a fair market value, then they reduce further, and then they offer less 10-~20%. I know this to be the case as I also work with many estate agents and I know the local market very well. Not that WeBuyAnyHome will share any of this information with you. I am grateful they have agreed with my claim there is 'zero urgency'. I'll screenshot their reply just in case they decide to play more games.

Its difficult to review here as Jack was very lovely to deal with but the speedy timeline was not met and the urgency was not a factor. We have now lost the house we were buying. Although they had the figures 6 days ago apparently it then took that long to say they couldn't get near the price they offered. Although it was already on the market with 2 estate agents. They felt it necessary to chose an agent who hadn't seen the house and who actual doesn't sell any properties within our village. Not understanding the local market was a factor and using an agent who had never been to the property before another. Very disappointed with the 3 week waste of time and having to explain to your family why has made me super angry and quite frankly look stupid. If Jack hadn't been so nice it would have been zero stars. PLEASE DON'T waste your time.

WeBuyAnyHome pay under market value (70-80% depending on condition) so you should be aware of this before going down this route. With that being said, WBAH is a quick, easy, stress-free way of selling a property. Due to various reasons I needed to sell my property quickly. The whole process from filling in your details on their website to completion and cash in the bank was 1 month. I was contacted within 15 minutes of filling in the details by James Baker, who was my contact throughout the process, James was excellent, explained the process and was clear that they pay under market value. An initial cash offer was made, based on nearby property sale values (don't expect this value to be the final offer). The basic process is 2 local estate agents value your house (this is done via a third party asset management company), legal checks are done by WBAH own solicitors (Wilsons Solicitors), a revised cash offer is then made based on the valuations. If you accept that a RICS home survey is then done. A final cash value is offered dependent on the results of the survey. Exchange was on the Wednesday, with completion on the Friday. As stated all legal fees, conveyancing, valuations and survey are organised and paid for by WBAH. Most documentation is done online, although you have to post some things (postage being my only expense with this whole process). £500 is kept from the sale proceeds until a house check is done after you move out, so don't plan on leaving rubbish behind when you move out. I have only just moved so haven't received the £500 back yet. Will update if there are any issues with this. If you're OK with getting a below market value then I can recommend WBAH and James Baker for a quick painless sale. EDIT 4th April 2020. Still not heard about the £500 retainer. I was in contact with the office but due to the Coronavirus lockdown this has now gone quiet (understandably). They have managed to remarket and sell the house in a month though so no excuses for delaying with this £500 retainer. Was told they are waiting on a condition report, which must surely have been done within days of me moving out EDIT 9th April 2020 £500 finally paid back today.

This sale of my Mothers flat took a few months only because of the people who owned the freehold, James Bear was super efficient, and always positive, and Chelsea what can I say that girl needs a pay rise.this sale wasn't straight forward and she sorted and put our minds at rest , she is a true asset to this company,

Looked at selling a property with them. They made an acceptable offer over the phone within minutes and had an 'independent' valuation completed a week later. They valued it at £40k under what the mortgage company valued it at 6 months ago when we remortgaged (property only worth £140k, so nearly 30% under) We weren't allowed to talk to the people carrying out the valuation when they came round as they weren't instructed by us. Communication and customer service very good, however don't get too excited about the initial offer they make as it will bear no resemblance to the offer they come back with. They offered me to go through their sister company to try and get a sale, however my trust with them had gone so I declined. I understand they are a business and are in this to make money, however it all seemed too good to be true, and unfortunately it was
