Fantastic company. Great selection and on the one rare occasion where they delivered late; they dealt with it well. The only bad thing is the lack of selection of caffeine free teas without apple pieces.

Ashley at your Street in Somerset branch was very helpful and friendly. I have not bought perculated coffee for many years, as I live on my own. I found my perculator and was not sure what bean I needed, but he explained and said if I did not like the taste, I could return it for full refund, (I did like it and will be back)what more could any want wonderful service) Thank you Ashley and all the staff at Whittard of Street

I recently ordered a present that was delivered late. Customer service was very responsive and offered various options, including resending the package to the same or an alternative address, or offering a refund. Engaging with customer service is a painful experience with many companies, where customers end up typing some question to a bot that can only lists some answers from a predefined Q&A list. With Whittard's customer service I was speaking to a human being, and that made all the difference.

I absolutely love this company not just it's delicious teas and hot chocolates but it's amazing kind staff,I had a issue once where their delivery driver didn't ring my doorbell but instead sent the parcel to a pick up store,this was not acceptable so I contacted customer care before Christmas and they resent out my order again and gave me a free hot chocolate for my inconvenience which I thought was delightful thank you Whittards for sorting out the issues and making my day and Christmas :)

Love Whittard's coffee but will never use their online service again. Paid £6.95 for a named day delivery. My order was delivered on another, random date, which was unacceptable as it was meant to be a Valentine's gift. My email to their customer services remains unanswered.

No heating by Tea Bar The staff here are welcoming, and very helpful, and knowledgeable.I give them 5 stars. My 2 stars, is for the cold store. I am a regular customer, I sit in and have a cup of tea, which is usually very pleasurable, not today, the door is open, the heating is not on. The management need to deal with this. I will not be returning. Update on my review. After the response I received, I thought the matter had been dealt with. I returned today, to find the tea bar very cold. I left immediately, and went to a hotel in Trafalgar Square to have my tea, lovely and warm. I am at a loss to understand, the attitude of the management, obviously they ignore justified criticism from their customers.

Everything in this brand is of top quality and teas are delicious. One wish please: keep producing Alice in wonderland line - is was so perfect, but currently not available in shops.. Special thanks for great customer service in Cambridge and Milton Keynes Whittard.

Excellent service-always very quick delivery ( almost next day delivery) at no extra Cost and the hot chocolate is the best I can find! The flavours taste better than I expected and they’re so luxurious! Bit addicted…

Great coffees and teas! My absolute favourite coffee and tea shop. Huge selection of delicious teas and great quality coffee. Shipping to Norway is a bit expensive, but for me it is worth every penny.

Ordered a Taste of Whittard hamper as a Christmas present for my brother (order no:03578925) I was told I would get an email with a tracking number which never arrived (not in junk either) The parcel never arrived. I allowed for Christmas & pandemic delays. When I rang a couple of days ago I was told it was “lost in transit” and got a refund. Had I not checked about the delivery I would have been £50 out of pocket.I’m not sure if the order was actually dispatched to be honest. Normally I spend a lot at Whittard. Despite this experience I spent a lot in store since but certainly won’t order online again. ….. When the reply said this would be raised I thought I might receive an explanation or apology from the company as they have my details but I didn’t hear from them apart from the public reply below

My order of a tea gift set which was advertised (and photographed) as including a nice gift box arrived with component parts messily packaged in a brown cardboard box. The teabag box was bashed and had split open. Customer service offered replacement teabags but claimed that the set did not include a gift box, despite the website clearly stating otherwise, and the separate items being available for £4 cheaper on the website. I have had no reply to my follow-up email, though I continue to receive advertising emails inviting me to buy more “gift sets”. I will not be buying from Whittard again.

Very embarrassed about a Christmas gift I gave to my partner. Ordered a 3 set of stacker tins hot chocolate, very measly amount inside each tin. Customer service is proving to be useless when complained asking for several photos weighing the amounts of hot chocolate... their excuse via email was the product has air which settles over time making the amount less. Maybe just fill the tin fully in the first place and we wouldn’t have not even quarter of a tin? I only asked for more to be sent out instead of a refund but would rather the latter now and go to hotel chocolat instead. The taste itself is underwhelming and even if I did have a full tin I still wouldn’t be excited to drink it. Hard neck to call it luxury.

Bought their mug infuser for using with the black tea and fruit tea I drink. I was a bit sceptical as have only used the ball versions up until now for a single cup. However it is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My husband thinks it’s the best product so far and means making a cuppa is so easy! So… I highly recommend! Stainless steel, easy to clean & lid that acts as saucer to catch drips. A win win! Thank you Whittards!

The delivery company lost my parcel and Whittard customer service could not have been any more helpful in ensuring a sent package was sent promptly. They also allayed my fears by using a different courier company. Really excellent experience buying from this company.

My parcel arrived with a tear in the coffee bag, resulting in coffee having split all over the rest of my order. However, Imogen on the customer service team was extremely helpful when I raised the issue and immediately arranged for a new bag of coffee to be sent to me with free next day delivery, which arrived today in perfect condition.

Unfortunately, the efficiency of Whittard in dispatching my order in good time is ruined by them using Yodel, who are the most useless delivery company on the planet. They have supposedly left the parcel in an outbuilding that I don't have and left a card that I haven't got. When I raised this with Yodel the response was that it has been delivered! Stop using them, they are rubbish.

Have been very happy with their coffees, teas, and service, every time I've visited them. Can be busy on weekends and before Christmas, but the assistants have in my experience always remained professional and helpful.

I recently placed an order with Whittard, as I usually do each year, but unfortunately for the last 3 years my Christmas orders have been unsatisfactory in one way or another. I decided to order in enough time this year and whilst I was very happy with the swiftness my order was dispatched and arrived in. However, I was very disappointed with the presentation of a cup and saucer set that was sent out to me. It is lovely set-however, it has not been presented very well and I wrongly or naively assumed that it would be boxed upon arrival. Unfortunately this is not the case and as it is a gift it has left me wondering how exactly I can package it safely and also in a way that is aesthetically pleasing?! As the brown paper/packaging is not exactly befitting to present for a gift! I did therefore reach out to Whittard and whilst there response was also timely, but I did feel it could have been more customer focused, as I simply asked if they could supply a box perhaps or a solution, but they were not especially accommodating-although friendly. It is just slightly disappointing as now I am left with the task of trying to find the best possible solution. I would of perhaps expected a little bit more understanding and empathy but most of all a workable solution. So whilst I am happy with the items I ordered but am only disappointed by the presentation of part of this order and also the companies response.
