My first order with Wilkinson Cameras. I ordered just shy of £3500 worth of equipment. A camera body, adapter and grip. Rightly so, they called me after it was received to check details and said it would be shipped today. This tallied with their website which states "Our order cut-off point for same-day dispatch is 3pm Monday-Friday", this order was placed at 1:40pm so lots of time. Indeed, I got emails from them at 1:58pm saying it had been shipped with three different tracking numbers for each of the items. This morning, I get two messages from Parcel Force but the one for the body never came through. On checking with Parcel Force, the camera body shows "Advised not received". I called them to ask what the situation was and was told something similar to that it might have been coming to the store and missed the pickup. Surely not given it was with them by their advertised cut-off of 3pm and their website says nothing about if it comes from a store it might not make that. Largely a disappointing response and false promises. Whilst their terms have a get out for delays caused by the couriers, this appears to be a delay of their own doing. Ordered specifically from them due to a mixture of a good price (not the cheapest) but the option of next day delivery which appears to have just been a false promise. Especially as it was needed today, not tomorrow. (Side comment, you may wish to update your website, Switch and Solo payment methods stopped even being a thing in 2002 and 2011 respectively (a 22 year out of date logo))

Pre ordered Canon R5 mk2 by mail order but was able to trade used gear in against it via shop in Kendal which I found helpful and staff very friendly. Mail order staff were also very helpful and I have no complaints.
I recently purchased a 2nd hand camera in store at Warrington branch of Wilkinson’s. Henry was very helpful with the whole process. After a couple of technical issues, I called into the store a couple of days later. Henry and John were fabulous! They resolved my technical issue quickly and explained it to me. They went above and beyond what I asked of them by also resolving an issue with another camera I have. Thank you guys for your patience and superb service!
Shopping online I found the website very easy to use and understand, it was like step by step process, payment and delivery options were very good, even after my purchase, a quick phone call from them just to confirm my order and update on delivery, excellent service and highly recommended, 10/10
Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Even taking the time to check the delivery address via phone to ensure the address was correct. The lens came two days earlier than quoted. Wilkinson always come up trumps and they are my go to camera shop

I was slightly disappointed with my recent experience at the Preston store. I had previously been to the shop with my camera to see how much I could have if I was going to use it as part exchange for a video camera. The staff member completed his checks and wrote down the sum of £319.00 yet when I came to part exchange the member of staff would only give me £195.00 after his checks. I just wanted to note that the first offer should stand as this should have been completed accurately and there should not have been a sudden change only a few days later.
Next day delivery for an adaptor ring that was out of stock in many retailers and even in the Canon official on-line store.
Always easy rot deal with, they are helpful and straightforward. I use them often.
