Jan 16,2025When my flight was cancelled, you guys did a terrible job at getting me a ride home. In fact, you guys did nothing. You literally said that we had to fend for ourselves. Not only was my name still on the group reservation and it was a pain to get it off of there, but I had to find a new flight all by myself even with this being my first time flying without my parents. I figured it out, but you guys were awful at dealing with this situation. I honestly believe that I should get some sort of compensation for this inconvenience.

Jan 15,2025Our tour guide, Jamie Smith, was absolutely terrific-helpful and kind and welcoming. And the events themselves were well executed with additional tour guides brought in who were charming and knowledgeable. That said other issues for which our tour guide had no control were a problem: there was miscommunication with World Strides people early in the process about how travel around London was (or was not funded) and the refund policies are overly strict and problematic--make you you know what you're committing to before signing up for a trip with World Strides. Finally, the hotel (Ibis Budget in London) in which we were booked was abysmal--unclean sheets, no fridge, nowhere to put clothes, many of the rooms smelled like sewage. The location was fine, but that's about it in terms of the hotel quality. At least Virgin Atlantic was a good airline to fly.

Jan 15,2025We had a fun group to travel with. I am so happy to have visited Costa Rica with them. Everything was well planned. A shout-out to our tour guide, Seidy Hernandez, whose humor made every day a great day!

Jan 15,2025My daughter traveled with her college soccer team through World Strides to Barcelona. On the way home their flight was cancelled by the airline because of a mechanical issue. Their tour guide told them they were on their own to find a flight home. It was one of the busiest times of the year. After hours on the phone and in line, my daughter found a flight for the next day that would take her through London to New York (not Philadelphia) where she originated from. When she went to the airport the next day the airline said she did not have a ticket. She showed them the ticket they had given her the day before, but they said that because she was part of a tour group they couldn't honor it. She spent hours on the phone with the airline countless times and finally found a seat on a flight home later that day. Only a handful of the players were able to get home the next day. The rest of the team was stuck there for 2 days. As a parent, I would not recommend sending your child oversees with a company that is not going to help them get home. This can't be the first time a tour company has dealt with a cancelled flight. They should have a plan.

Jan 15,2025Our tour guides were amazing! They were very smart, informative and funny and incredibly helpful when our flights had gotten cancelled. They helped get us into a hotel and figure everything out and they didnt stop trying to help until there was nothing left for them to try.

Jan 14,2025Our guide, Adriana, was excellent - knowledgable and fun, she kept us on schedule and was flexible when necessary. Her leadership and expertise made the trip a success! The hotel was fabulous - the staff was professional and helpful, the meals were fabulous, and they hosted a memorable and excellent New Year's party. I would 100% stay here again. My only constructive feedback - Some of the tours that we did were sports oriented (stadiums, soccer and Olympic museums). These were interesting, but our players are college aged women, and I think they enjoyed exploring the city and surrounding areas (and shopping) a bit more that the sports oriented tours!

A magnificent tour guide, authentic cuisine in regards to the meals, hotels that were superior, excellent local tour guides, and wonderful experiences made this trip a 5 star adventure for everyone. Jan 13,2025We loved Pav our guide. We was fantastic We hated your company changing our travel dates and the ridiculous travel times so Worldstride could save money on airfare. This was an adult group with instruments and traveling all night night should never happen.

Jan 13,2025This charter bus experience was a total disaster. Not long after leaving our pick-up destination, one of the buses broke down, causing a significant delay and throwing off our entire schedule. To make things worse, the bus we were on had the AC leaking water directly onto the students sitting underneath it, making it an uncomfortable and wet ride. The bathroom was out of order, and there was an awful odor inside that made it hard to breathe. It’s clear this company doesn’t prioritize maintenance or customer comfort. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Total waste of time and money! The bus drivers were not friendly. We had to be on and off those buses from December 29 - January 2.
