I enjoyed the trip very much
I liked how detailed they were and how they explained stuff well
Tour guide Robert was amazing. Kept us on schedule to see all the places.
I loved the cities we visited but the itinerary was a little too packed for my liking. Up at 6 daily and walking 24000 steps with 43 participants through the streets of New York. Not back to the hotel until late at night and the kids would have like a small break a day or two during the trip. Otherwise it was good. I was exhausted but in thinking back I loved it.
It was an all around amazing experience. It was well planned and the guides were outstanding especially Mr. Bob from New York.
World Strides provides a comprehensive trip, taking care of everything you may need from start to finish. I have a team working with me in planning that guides every step.
The personnel provided were an outstanding group of people. Bonnie, our tour guide was exceptional, and our bus driver Jerome was beyond professional. Thge bus provided was marginal, at best. I have ridden on better in 3 world countries. I am surprised it passed DOT regulations, old, dirty, loud. The lavatory tanks had not been cleaned, leading to the whole bus smelling like sewer. Jerome scrambled to fix this issue. This was not the driver's fault, as it was the bus companies. The food arrangement was rough for all, low budget, fast food junk for the about 75% of the meals. For what the trip costs, we were expecting decent meals at best. A number of people went elsewhere for tolerable food when the time allowed, a major fail on WorldStrides part.
We saw so many things while we were in Washington DC. Worldstrides did a great job keeping everything organized.
Everything for our trip was well organized. Our bus drivers did a great job getting us back and forth to DC safely, and we're impeccable in navigating the city. Seats were comfortable and clean. The only thing that I would have changed? Provide a cup holder on the bus.
Our tour guide, Brad, was incredible. He was extremely knowledgeable on the monuments, memorials, and various areas within and around D.C. He had connections to get us opportunities to talk with a capitol police officer and a tomb guard sentinel, knew how best to navigate around the city, and handled getting us in and out of our destinations with efficiency and precision while also being an effective communicator with our students. He's just the best. The trip seemed to go very smoothly, with the places we were visiting already expecting us and our food for meals being ready quickly. It was just a great trip all around.
We had a great guide. Kevin was fun, knowledgeable and entertaining!
The fundraising is completely misleading. It's you sending out a request for money which to me is not okay. I thought they would offer things for the kids to sell or other ways to fundraiser. It's very expensive and the adults have to share a room as well so make sure you pay extra if you want your own room. Also you have to pay extra if you want to share a room with your child instead of another adult. The trip it's self was very well organized and the tour guides were AMAZING!
There were very organized with hotels and ability to contract whatever they need and everyone was friendly and professional
Transportation was smooth and clean. The week was informative and filled with lots of places.
I liked the trip the only thing I didn’t like was that the bus was pretty dusty and made me congested
My son had a wonderful time with his school's 7th grade trip to Washington D.C.
Our tour guide was wonderful! Javier had knowledge about the cities and was open to our focus. I liked the length and the different places we went. We had a problem with one hotel that assigned rooms with a pull out bed instead of two singles, and after some discussion, the upgraded our rooms.
The trip was well-organized and closely aligned with the theme, but it was too packed, leaving the students exhausted. However, this might have been a requirement from the school.
My daughter’s 5th grade class traveled to Williamsburg with World Strides. It was very well organized and informative. Loved showing up at a designated time and just sitting back and enjoying the events of each day. Everyone involved had a really good time.
