This is my second time joined the Worldstrides tour. Both trips were fantastic. Great staff, great food and great hotels. Thank you for bringing us to see the BEST of Washington D.C. Thank you Ed, Ms. Tammy, Mr. D and the wonderful lady helped us in the hotel from Worldstrides! Thank you very much!

The sightseeing was amazing but the schedules is so crammed that kids were complaining about being so tired and not being able to rest. Also food options were not that great.

This was my first (and last) time with any tour. There were a number of unexpected changes in the itinerary. For instance, instead of an all-day trip to Zaans Schans and Volendam, we only had 4 hours including travel time, so we had to run through both of the cities within an hour and a half and skip lunch. There were a few cities where everything was closed (museums, restaurants, etc.) so we got to walk through the place without doing anything (The Hauge and the seaside town). It seems like this should've been accounted for by the tour company. For the amount of money paid, the hotel was basic and too far from center city. Most of the time was spent traveling to and from the city. There was absolutely nothing around the hotel. Had the hotel been in city center, it would have been easier to take a train to the bus at Centraal Station to go to other locations outside of the city. The dinners were very far from our activities, very bland and limited (1 burnt crepe the first night and 1 dry cold chicken skewer the next night... we had to skip the next 2 nights so we could eat an actual healthy meal). The tour organizer (Linda) was amazing, but she had no control over the choices that Explorica made and was very frustrating. Very disappointing.

The tour guides and bus drivers were great! Jorge the bus driver was an amazing driver and I was very impressed how he can drive such a large bus so well. I learned a lot from the tour guides and they were very kind, but a lot of times it seemed very rushed, not sure if that was the tour guides or the teachers in charge of the trip. I do wish we would have a section on the airplane that were just for the group. There were times random strangers were sitting next to the students. All of the food was amazing except for our first meal of the trip was at Golden Corral. Most of the hotels had very thin walls and we could hear everything and our last hotel we went to we had random people staying in rooms between our students which seemed a little weird to me. We had someone next to us yelling and cussing really late at night. None of the rooms had alarm clocks and the phones didn’t work and not sure if they do that on purpose or if that is a just how those hotels are. Some of the rooms didn’t get any wake up calls like they were told they would be getting. We did have an overall great experience and seen a lot of amazing places.

Every Worldstrides leader was on time and knowledgeable of everything that needed to be done. To see and learn of America's historical sites is priceless. Thank you for the experience.

Absolutely loved this trip. Jammed pack full of great sights seeing, information, great tour guide (Janette is the best 😊) and enjoyed every minute. Only thing that was a little difficult was the travel coming in and out. Wish leaving was the next day early morning flight without having any planned sight seeing on the same day. The planned meals were a little chaotic too but overall extremely happy with the entire process. I know it takes a lot of coordinating and working to make this happen, so I’m very grateful for the entire team making it work. There really isn’t a need to spend another dime while on the trip so it truly is all inclusive. Highly recommend this program to any one!

The meal options really need an update. Food is not edible for the amount paid for this trip. Food at chosen hotel (holiday inn) was also terrible. A lot of hurrying just to wait around outside for 30 minutes or so. Also, hotels are far away from museums, monuments ect. Why not stay closer so there is less travel time? Would not recommend this trip for the amount of money it can be done better solo.

It was great in so many ways but there was barely any time for my favorite museum. I personally think we could skip the African American museum and spend more time at the Bible museum. It was still a great trip though.

John was an excellent tour guide!! The low score was due to hotel choice- old musty rooms that smelled like animal wastes. Good options were so poor. Maybe one night order pizza if you're trying to cut costs.

Our tour guide, Abe, was amazing as usual. Our hotel coordinator, Vern, made everything so simple and he was so incredibly responsive to our needs.

Days were very long and full of activities. We saw so many landmarks and must-see exhibits. Tour guides were super knowledgeable and friendly. I would never have seen all of these places if it wasn’t for this trip.

I was very impressed on how well organized everything was. Our tour guide Marshall was amazing. He was great with the kids, they absolutely loved him. Our trip to DC was fantastic. Just 1 small thing, use a different hotel from now on. I found a bug in my room as well as a few of the students.

The tour guides and itinerary were great. However, the bus company they used was terrible. Our group had two buses for the trip. One broke down and left us standing on the side of the turnpike for 90 minutes. The other bus had no air conditioning. The bus that broke down also had virtually no suspension and was the worst bus ride I’ve ever experienced.

This was my 4th DC trip with our school and World Strides. This by far was the worst experience! Day one we were stuck on the side of the New Jersey Turnpike for 21/2 hours as one of our buses broke down. Our other bus didn’t have air conditioning. When we finally got to our hotel 15/1/2 hours later the World Strides point of contact was very unpleasant. Our dinner was pizza that I had to eat off a ripped piece of the pizza box. They didn’t have enough plates for everyone. Day two we had more bus issues as they were trying to fix the air conditioning. We had to have one bus take one group while our other group had to once again wait on the side of the road. Our breakfast was cut short each day as we had to share the room with another school group. The only reason I am giving WS any credit is because of our tour guides Nate and Josh! They are both very knowledgeable and professional. I truly enjoyed speaking with them. On our last day once again the WS point person at the hotel was rude and unprofessional to say the least. The day itself was going well until the ride home. We were at the Air and Space Museum for about 45 minutes. When we got back on the buses we drove for about 10 minutes and we then had to stop for fuel. Which literally took 30 minutes (why didn’t the driver fuel up when we were at the museum). We drove another couple of hours then we had to stop so the drivers needed a bathroom break. We didn’t get back to our school until 3:45 AM. That is unacceptable! The only reason I gave you 2 stars was because of Nate and Josh. My 4th and final school trip was very disappointing for sure.
