Jun 03,2020Tutor rate was different than what was charged. Turned out tutor had lower the rate and we were being charged an old rate (used him once two months before). Tutor credited the account.... and cancelled all future sessions with a kid about to take finals. Unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency with pricing.

Jun 01,2020Very unhappy with the service of the teachers of this web site. It feels like main point of every teacher is just to make money and they are more concerned about this more than about the student to succeed. Teachers mainly do not prepare for the lessons and place all the responsibility jost on the student. The prices are too high and qulity is very low.

Jun 01,2020I had to take the TEAS about 3 days after school ended, and didn't have enough time to study. Not to mention, it had been a while I took Anatomy and Physiology, and some chemistry. I was able to get a proficient on the exam, but I didn't get the amount required on the Science portion for the nursing program at my school. Ms. Karen helped me in under 2 weeks before I had to take the re-test. She told me the hard core truth about the nursing program, and she encouraged me to never give up, and always practiced with me. If it weren't for her, I don't know how I would've done on the TEAS. Fortunately, I was able to pass as I took the re-take and it was all thanks to her.

May 27,2020Easy to use website. Improvement areas: allow user to see all the reviews, not just the positive ones you pick Lower fees or make a flat fee. You don’t do more work when I have to pay a tutor more. 9% is a lot. Tutors should incur the fee for getting to use your site better yet.

May 18,2020Thanks to my son's new tutor, Ms. Tam, my son can now read basic words! I'm so happy we found Ms. Tam because I was worried he would fall back from his pre-k lessons due to Covid. But I'm confident now that he'll be ready for Kindergarten in the fall.

May 18,2020Victoria, my daughter's tutor, is very patient, kind and highly knowledgeable of AP Calculus. Her approach engages the student to think and participate in the problem solving rather than being spoon-fed. The Wyzant tutoring web-format is easy to access and use. The recorded tutoring sessions is a great bonus for student to recall lessons taught.
