I appreciate the background option and the reviews from others. Although I have only used one tutor, I am satisfied with Wyzant and recommend to use their services.

My son is a freshman in college and in looking for a Calculus tutor I came upon Wyzant, expecting little and getting A LOT!!! She is extraordinary, going the extra mile to make certain my son (adhd) understands the materials. She is amazing and my son very fortunate.

Mar 17,2018I've tried Sylvan Learning & Mathmasium - good places, but they don't address the immediate situation. They have a program that they must stick to & over priced. I found Wyzant. The first tutor was OK, wasn't impressed, then video learning, but that didn't work, so they say 3rd time is a charm; in which it was a God sent. I found the PERFECT tutor for my son. She's patient, understanding, gives up so much of her time & truly goes above & beyond for her students. She is currently working with what is going on "now". This summer we will address where he got off track to place him back on & move forward. Meeting teachers in advance is helpful, but you truly don't know until the learning begins and how things will go. I do recommend meet and greet, but be open that it may not immediately work out. Schools have to teach like a Cracker Jack box, they have state regulations & limited time, so unfortunately those who need help, usually don't get it. You as parents must do what it takes to help your child succeed. There is a price to pay, but the rewards are so great to THEM and THEIR future.

Apr 04,2018They helped me find an excellent tutor. I was looking everywhere for an AP Chem tutor and through Wysant I found one right in my neighborhood. The tutor was very professional and knew just what to do. My daughter enjoyed the lessons and after a few sessions, she was back on track. It was really easy paying through the app, too.
