May 27,2022I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You will not get a test at the end of the course and current waiting times for a test are 5 months unless you are lucky enough to get one via a cancellation. Once the course is finished the instructors will ditch you because they do not have the time to give you lessons outside the course. The course is also far too expensive. You are briefly talked through the theory and then told to use trial and error on a driving theory app until you memories all the questions. You also spend far too much time in the class room and not enough time actually driving. Finally, you cannot fail your test. If you fail your test the course will drop you and prioritise people who haven't had a test before and you will have to go and try and book a test on your own.

May 26,20225 Day has been immensely useful in helping me both get test ready, and in getting me a test. I just passed my test with zero faults, having come from the Norwich 5 Day centre, and would like to thank my instructor - Bob - for his wonderful teaching. The instructor was professional and friendly, and tried to challenge and stretch my driving skills. Whilst this was nerve-racking, I always felt safe with him. I am glad that I entered the course knowing the basics of driving, as this meant the time I had was used more efficiently. The theory test was no hassle, as 5 days is more than enough time to prepare for the theory test. The time taken for a practical test was surprisingly quick, having one come through in under two weeks. There was the option to book an extra refresher session with my instructor, however this was not necessary, and I did not do this. The only complaint is that the theory lessons were dull, especially doing a lot of this in one go. However I do not see how anyone could make learning the theory exciting, and 5 Day was highly effective in the teaching. Overall I am a very happy customer and would recommend 5 Day to anyone wanting to get their licence.

May 21,2022Don’t recommend 5 day as had to wait 5 months for my test after the course they where unorganised and had me waiting outside a hour and half early and no one was inside door was locked and no one would answer the phone when I called to find out however the instructor I had raf was excellent wish I had just booked lessons with him rather than the corse 100% would recommend the instructor passed first time with him

May 20,2022My experience with 5 day was a great experience I had amazing people was very supportive and it was amazing time to go with 5 days the only stupid thing I did was sleep in for one day now I missed one day of the training in theory but im not complaining as it was my fault but I cant go back and do it again as I missed that one morning but I hope I will pass with the theory test but even if I don't they have teached me a lot so I will pass at some point and I have more experience behind the wheel of driving a car if u woundering to do it I say go for it a do it the only thing is have experience of driving as they can't say u will pass if u only have 20 hours on the road u need a least 6 month before u go for this don't do it if u dont have experience for driving but if u want to pass ur theory test then go and it these people will help u look at different ways to pass im really proud of the way they teach as it help out alot but great people and I hope u all are happy with what they can do for you ☺ 😊

May 20,2022The whole experience was brilliant with Chris teaching the theory in which I passed first time Chris made the whole teaching fun along with being serious too I passed the exam first time with score of 48/50 Driving lessons I’m 41 and was paired up with Tristan never drove before and by Friday I was driving better than a lot of people on roads Tristan’s teaching skills were second too none and I couldn’t of asked for a better instructor he made me feel at ease soon as I got in car Tristan is a true professional and because of Tristan I passed my test 1st time with only 1 minor (i left indicator on too long as pulled away)so id like to thank Tristan Chris and 5 day for a brilliant experience and for getting me passed first time thank you so much would I recommend Ipswich 5day? WITHOUT DOUBT

May 19,2022The work they do at 5 day as absolutely amazing, having no prior experience of theory, Emilio got me to pass it in three days. The practical side was outstanding and my instructor Jesus, is an amazing driving instructor and great at his job.

May 19,2022We looked at 5 Day on the basis that we could end the week with a licence, but did not realise this was not the case!! Our booked lessons got cancelled due to sickness, but with the help of Mick, he agreed to fit us in and make it work in his own time, rather than rebook for 2 months later, a great start! Mick's teaching style is what I would call firm, but you really appreciate this as it really prepares you for the test. His knowledge is second to none. So, once the lessons had finished, Mick confirmed he was happy to enter us for the Theory, but there was no dates! 5 day had told us of the fast track service, and we where in a queue. Our position in this queue ( no 11) did not change for 3 weeks!! So we took matters into our own hands, found a test and sourced a cancellation. Once we had a date, 5 day provided some refresher lessons, and use of the car, and we got a pass with NO MINORS at all! A true reflection on Mick, thank you so much for your help!! 5 day, I would suggest you improve your test booking system and maybe keep us better informed. I do get that the DVSA are the issue, but you told us of a fast track test service, and we managed to get a date ourselves quicker than 5 Day.

May 14,2022I went to 5 day in bury st edmunds having about 2 months driving experience with my dad and having just over years worth of experience on a moped. I had mark noble as the theory trainer and thought he was brilliant, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to teach me! Mark was very good at teaching, he would have a serious side but would also be relaxed and funny at the same time! it was a perfect mixture to not make you totally daze off to sleep after a hard morning and afternoons driving but still be focused enough to be able to learn. I had Lindzee as my driving instructor and thought she was great, she taught me everything I was stuck on and made sure I was comfortable with that certain manoeuvre before going onto the next. Overall I think 5 day is great if you are already driving and just need to learn how to pass both theory and practical tests.

May 13,2022Amazing! Would totally recommend, Emilio is such a great guy & teacher!! I passed my theory and so did everyone else in my class 😌👏. Content was made very easy to understand and remember, and also engaging and fun. Hats off to him 🎩 and the rest of the staff, they really make the experience worthwhile & successful!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️… go for it, for sure.

May 12,2022Shameless misleading advertising, expensive and not worth it, had to spend £2K in total for course fee + 20h additional lessons and then had to switch to a proper instructor in a good driving school. I don't know why this is still legal to lurk in new drivers to this school, because clearly you wont be able to learn how to drive in 20 hours in one week period, it's alright if you lost your driver license and need to renew them so it's a good recap of being on the road but clearly NOT for the new drivers. My group had 7 people and only one was allowed to take exam at the end of the week, but he had previous driving experience. Others had to book additional private lessons that have additional costs on top of the course fee.

May 08,2022Fantastic. I passed in Bristol first time after a week with John Pearce. It was intense, hard work at times due to the amount of classroom and driving time, but ultimately a first time pass with only 2 minors speaks volumes. Highly recommended.

May 02,2022I did my intensive driving Course week beginning 25/4/22 at the Norwich centre, with Donnie Pegg. He really helped me with building my confidence again after it was dropped and I started to enjoy driving again. I learnt so much in that week. We also had help with our theory, with the classroom help from Greg I passed my theory after failing it twice before. I highly recommend 5day for an intensive driving course.

May 01,2022I did the 5Day intense driving course in Norwich to learn to drive from scratch, before starting I had only ever moved a car forward a few metres and very slowly. During the course, Greg was my driving instructor and he was fantastic, he was calm and relaxed even when a manoeuvre went wrong, and this really helped me not to panic. I learned so much on day one, and this carried on throughout the week. There was plenty of support available throughout the week and I was challenged to try new things quickly but with consideration so that I never felt pressured, and by the end of the week I have passed my theory test first time with top marks and am ready for my practical! This was so much faster and more effective than I thought, I’m really impressed. So glad I took this course!

Apr 23,2022Amazing! Get booking! I am 34 years old and have never driven before. I was so nervous about driving but I needn’t have worried. 8-10am you revise theory. Paul was absolutely brilliant, he would explain everything and challenge you (in a good way). Then the 4hrs of driving (with a lunch break). Rob- my instructor was the best I could’ve asked for. He was really calm, explained everything in detail and actually drew visual aids so I understood better (when I didn’t understand). On Thursday 6pm was my theory test- I passed and this was mainly to thank paul for and revising at home. I have finished my week course today and feel ready to get on the road without Rob. For someone who has never driven before… then 5 days later I can drive, it blows my mind! Thank you so so much to 5day. I will recommend you to everyone!

May 28,2022I found that 5days intensive driving course was so beneficial to me especially the help from Mark Noble with the theory. The classes were so beneficial to me especially with the fact that I suffer from Dyslexia, Mark really explain all subjects and I found that the slides, videos and the use of practicing on the iPads so helpful when doing the hazard perception test and also the multiple choice, it gave me the experience of preparing for the real thing. Mark is a very good tutor and teacher. My driving Instructor Lindzee Gannon has been my Inspiration, she has given me Courage, strength and belief that I am very capable of driving and that I can achieve anything, I lacked the confidence and self belief but Linzie has changed that so thank you. 5days is so worth it but I advise pupils to read all terms and conditions before applying and have an understanding of what you are applying for because the course isn’t just driving to be ready to take your practical you have to complete your theory first. Thank you for all your support and for giving me strength and belief.
