Apr 08,2022Do not use this company to learn how to drive as you won’t get far. Myself and all of my classmates I did this course with have been left without tests or passing four months after the course. They do not organise a test for you, they do not ensure you are driving within 5 days like advertised, their customer service is absolutely horrendous. They are generally ripping people off and getting away with it due to small print. There are plenty of other places that offer a pass within 5 days just not this place. Please do not waste your money here there is no chance of getting it back. I really regret spending my money here I’ve had to book more lessons else where as the quality of the lessons were really poor. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Apr 06,20225 day should really be careful about how they advertise their services! Firstly, you will not pass your test in 5 days regardless of how well you drive. There is a wait time for tests by which time, you may be rusty on some of the finer points causing you to fail. Although lessons are offered to put this right, the lessons only really teach the individual how to drive to pass a test and don’t really offer them advice and guidance in different scenarios which is extremely dangerous for young, inexperienced drivers. After spending a ludicrous amount of money on this awful company, we are now using a regular driving instructor who not only tells us that he gets many of 5 days customers but also mentioned that some of 5 days methods are to be desired. They way they taught my child to parallel park is extremely questionable indeed. I rarely complain (as you will see from my other reviews) but I wish I had never known about this intense course. I thought it would be an efficient and effective way for my child to learn to drive but really it just cuts corners creating some very questionable driving habits on our roads! Avoid like the plague!

Mar 30,2022My Fiancé spent an absolute fortune on this course and it is nothing but a complete waste of time. Whilst she found the course useful and was successful in passing her theory at the end of the week, it was after the course that the issues arose. - The level of communication from both the instructor and the business was non-existent. - She was forced to wait 4 months between the course finishing at getting any detail of her practical test. - During this period she was having to pay additional money on a weekly basis for top up lessons with a different instructor. - This meant the overall cost of the course and lesson was in excess of £1500. Unfortunately she was unsuccessful in passing her test at the first time of asking. Then received no follow up comms from 5 Day about rearranging a second test and when trying to rebook this, no support was given from the business. I am not usually someone who writes these types of reviews and am certainly not looking from anything from 5 Day. I have however seen how frustrating and upsetting this whole process can be for someone especially given the amount of money that has been invested. It is for this reason I recommend that anyone thinking of using this business does there research elsewhere as i have to assume there are businesses that offer this service and do a much better job of supporting people throughout the process and not just taking their money for the initial course and washing there hands of them thereafter.

Mar 25,2022Everything was organised well. The teaching provided for theory by Emilio was faultless he was extremely helpful and available for extra support if needed. He was also very reassuring and thorough in explaining of all the options following the completion of the course. My driving instructor was very patient and approached each driving subject appropriately. From having no experience, I can definitely say this intense course has given me a head start in being ready for my driving test. A huge thank you to the 5DAY team in north London.

Mar 23,2022I understand all the little information you tell me you look for cancellations I don't know what I have a paid a 1000£ for yeah you have given me a course on the pamphlet you are given back it is said in 10 days you will have a test guaranteed that is against the law to miss lead you pupils it has nearly been double that I'd like to say these guys need look more I feel they don't care about people who have spent money within their company don't offer you a driving instructor to keep going with as you can lose all you have learnt in the car this is unbelievable I wouldn't have paid 1000 pounds to be sat around like an idiot I'm still waiting on an email to confirm they got my payment for the test I feel this company Is scamming people I haven't been rude to anyone on the phone just expect to be called every day

Mar 23,2022I can not recommend this course enough, I took my course back in May 2021 in the Eastcote branch and although it took a while to find a date for my driving test, the team were so supportive and ensured I would pass my test. If it wasn’t for Mark I highly believe I would not of passed my driving test, 100% worth the money and I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to pass their driving test.

Mar 21,2022The worst company ever I took my course back in August 2021 and they still haven’t found me a test date it is a waste of money I would not recommend anyone to go with 5day in East Coast west London and i understand with covid an all but then it should say on the 5day website how long people may have to wait for a test date instead of making people pay 1100 and misleading them thinking that they are going to get a test within the five days or a day a little bit after

Mar 18,2022So I did my course with 5day on the last week of January (finishing Jan 28th) and I am so happy I waited to do it with them! I was very anxious going in to the course due to past experiences with bad instructors but having chose the automatic course I was paired with Alan and I could not ask for a better tutor. He made me feel the most confident I have ever felt behind the wheel of a car, so much so that I passed my driving test first time!! Like the title says, its the best thing I have ever done and have recommended the course to many people since passing my test because it was such a great experience. Thank you so much Alan, I am forever grateful for how much you helped me!! Chris

Mar 17,2022Marketing says Free correction lessons if you fail - what if you don't do your test "because your not ready"???? This does not count as failing so no more lessons! This course is clearly not suitable for beginner drivers. Absolute waste of money. Happy to take my money however will not now speak to me as will only speak with my daughter who is young and not the best at explaining herself and who has rang several times since December and who did not pay for the course. Customer service is condescending and rude and stated "if she cannot pick up the phone is she even responsible enough to drive" - disgusting - perhaps you could have checked how responsible she was before taking my money. This company is clearly very used to people ringing up feeling that they have wasted £1200 and five day customer services just want to argue and be unhelpful - the younger ones don't ask questions so no doubt easier to fob them off than the parents who paid for the course. UNHELPFUL RUDE WASTE OF MONEY - Customer service are unpleasant and breach confidentiality assuming I was someone's parent from a previous call without asking who I was. They told me they could not speak to me then confirmed my daughters name on the phone. GDPR course needed and customer service course. Customer service don't let you speak perhaps a 5day.co.uk customer service course would be helpful with 20 hours of learning and nothing else for £1200.

Mar 16,20224 months later and still no test not even reassurance that they are still looking for a test for me I passed theory first time but I’d previously passed my theory so it wasn’t hard. I wouldn’t advise anyone to do this course it was a waste of £1200 my course finished in December it is now March and I have booked my own test and own lessons because 5day can’t find a test within 4 months. I made a complaint last month and all they could offer me was a 1 hour refresher lesson with an instructor who ignored me until I made the complaint. Replying to your message it definitely was a waste of my time and money I found practical tests in my area online for March and April when I was looking for a test and the theory in December that’s why I booked this course. I didn’t need any help with the theory, except to a get a date sooner, but anyone reading this I would not advise you to waste your money on this course, there are other places who do crash courses and test cancellations for cheaper and they care about their customers.

They have been taking the mick with my brother who's has been with you now for over 6 months and you said you can pass anyone in 5 days what a joke. Now that I've heard his experience went with his instructor who I don't think is one I'm not going to even bother with you at all just because his story is a joke on how you do your driving school and teaching 😞

(For when you deny this is a genuine customer. Like you do with all your bad reviews to get them removed! .... I will post evidence of my complaint at the time and also my email to you of my complaint... I find it disgusting ... especially given that you deal with vulnerable teenagers... that you are prepared to post my name on a public forum ... I warn parents of all teenagers to take this into account when they decide to book with you ... my advice would be ... AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! watch out for my original complaint these people are racist. I failed my test because you changed the car I was using on the day of my test ... I had to use a new car that I had not driven before and my original instructor went on holiday! ... good to see you do not deny changing the vehicle ... at the last minute ... Changing car is not a racist act ... but an instructor complaining about every Muslim or asian driver while instructing a pupil is a racist act especially when the instructor says that " they all drive like that ... especially the indian drivers " absolute racism ... and very uncomfortable ... carry on ... i have complained through your procedure and i was met with the same ignorance ... and arrogance that you ... who refuses to give your name, despite the fact that you try and intimidate me by publishing my name... your company is a scam .. there is no 5 days of driving and there is no professionalism in your company ... as your immature replies to this complaint have proved ... not once have you ever offered to resolve this complaint ... As promised here is the review from two years ago that 5 day tried to remove ... it is still active on trust pilot .. Scam! Racist and sexist instructors they ask you for preference of male or female instructor. when they have VERY limited female instructors. promised to be there at my daughters test but gave her a TOTALLY different car for her test (and instructor) to the one she was taught with. ON THE DAY of her test she had to drive in a DIFFERENT car that she had only seen on THAT DAY (not good for the show me tell me ) with a COMPLETE stranger instructor.who wouldn't accompany her on her test, as promised, because he had a bad back. Do not use these people until they get their act together. The free correctional lessons are limited too. make sure you read the small print before you pay. this company is an absolute SCAM which needs to be exposed...all the good reviews on here are from people who have made ONE review FOR 5Day, a bit suspect. I said it was my daughter so it's pointless saying you have no record of MY e-mail you definitely have a record of hers, and complaints of male instructors making young female learners very uncomfortable. You want photos .. I got them...As far as the theory goes .. buy the app it's brilliant .. they use it here but do not tell you.. the official app is brilliant for passing your theory.. the theory lessons are no better than using the app... btw .. YOU have not mentioned YOUR name .. understandable when you are connected to this SCAM.. I want to add NO Attempt has been made by 5 day to resolve ANY of this complaint despite there obvious error swapping cars and removing instructor for the test day.. more to follow ... welcome legal action from your company, this will only help advertise the SCAM of 5 days of driving lessons when only HALF of the time is actually behind the wheel of a car ... and in this case NOT the car (or instructor) you will get on your test !!
