It has been great for me, however if you don't like taking in information and get overloaded very easily then it won't be for you.

Ok so I just finished the 5 day course and passed. I done my theory before I come the course so I could focus more on the driving element I would suggest everyone does this or has there theory under hand ready to go as its actually a hard cause to do every thing in there week. My driving instructor Steve I can't thank enough. 10/10 instructor with 42 years of this job behind him and you can tell this when in the car with him I educate people myself and Steve really does have a way of understanding how different people learn really can't fault the guy a true gentleman. So very pleased so far my last review will be in a few weeks once I sit my actual test. Yours thank fully Leonhard jay

I took a 5-day course in Bristol with John P as my instructor, who was absolutely fantastic. I was nervous about driving coming into the course but managed to pass with 4 minors and a lot of road confidence thanks to John. Would definitely recommend

I booked a 5 day course about a year ago. At the time, I put in a good review more so because we are told to but I’d like to put in my honest opinion hoping it’ll help others 5day started with theory sessions in the morning (which is just PowerPoint slides going through it, and practicing on the app) in my opinion you need to study prior to it, as there isn’t enough time to learn it all just from PowerPoint slides Then there was driving in the afternoon. I would perhaps recommend 5 day for people who have had previous experience of driving. I spoke to 5day prior to booking and said whether it was suitable for people who have never driven before, and they said yes. There is not enough time to be a SAFE driver in 5 days, yes ok you may be able to drive to pass the test but not general driving. 5day teaches you in a way to please the examiner, pass the test but not actual driving. I have spoken to examiners and they have not spoken one good thing about 5day. My instructor was rude, would shout and have no patience, I ended up changing instructor for the correction lessons you are promised. But remember you can only get correction lessons for what you failed on, I asked in the lesson whether I could practice some manoeuvres before the test and it was not allowed simply because that wasn’t on my fail sheet and I would have to pay to do this My first instructor for 5day would ignore my texts, and when the instructor would text saying which dates were available I would respond and say which ones I’d like. Then when texting back close to this date my instructor responds that they thought I was busy on all the dates. It would be cheaper, and more beneficial to go with private One good thing I have to say about 5day is that they did get tests and retests quick. 5day you will probably respond with we don’t have booking reference so can’t find you on the system which is fair enough but I am not including it simply because this is a negative review 👍🏻

Just don’t do it, I dont even have the energy to go into the full details of why not to, just don’t! Find a local instructor who can give you dedicated time, you will spend more in time but less in cost. I paid for a test, through the 5DAY link, in September 2021. Got fed up with being given the run around, saying there were no tests available due to the pandemic, even tho 5DAY claim to be able to beat the DVSA waiting times. So I requested a refund on the website, on 25th July 2022. (I have the email refund request and a voicemail to confirm the refund would be processed). 5DAY - I’ve still not had a refund, where is my £62? Reference WL-KNLQ9 Eastcote

I booked a course 4 months in advance, to be told 3 days before there was no driving instructor available. I then asked for a refund, I was completely ignored. I have called there office 25 times to be told the correct department will call back within the hour, I did not receive any call. Customer team on the phone was very rude. I have been waiting since the 28th of August for my money to be returned. Sent emails to have absolutely no confirmation back. I have taken this matter to citizens advice and the financial ombudsman. I am a nursing university student and have no way of booking any other lessons because the money is still being held by the company. This situation is extremely disappointing especially because the company could not deliver the service that was offered. I will be taking them to court if the money is not returned within the week. Do not give them any money!

It’s only been half the week. RAF has been amazing. Although, his teaching is very theory based, it does help if you listen to him carefully and do what he preaches.

Had previous driving instructors, and despite having more hours with them I've made much more progress under Raf. A perfect balance between explaining theory and developing understanding and confidence, and taking hands off when the student needs to enact what they know. Raf understands when to build confidence, and when to push the student when they need to be. Couldn't be happier with the experience!

Do not book! I signed up to your course back in March, after being told that the driving school guarantees a pass, books you in for your driving test and provides you with free driving lessons should you fail. Sounded brilliant ! However, It's now September and I am still going round in circles with them. 1. First part miss-sold - After the week of intensive driving courses, I attempted to book in for my driving test through 5day, only to be told AFTER they took the test money there was a 2 year waiting list for a test!!! 2.Second part miss-sold - After refusing to wait 2 years, I decided to book my own driving test. Upon failing, I contacted them to book in for my free lessons I was promised. Only to be told by a 5Day employee that driving lessons were between 11am-2pm Monday to Friday, only. Not only was this never made clear upon booking or even advertised, how does anyone with a full time job take advantage of these free lessons? When I questioned this, I was told by the employee that I would need to take a day's annual leave?! 3. Third part miss-sold - I called and asked for a refund on the test I had paid for (as refused to wait two years) and to also book the free lessons that were promised upon failing. I was told on the phone they only offered free lessons and/or test refund within 7 days of your failed test. I got lucky here as just by chance contacted them on the 7th day, however yet again another thing that was falsely advertised/not made transparent. 4. Fourth part miss-sold - you can use your driving instructor's car to do you test (when you finally get one!). However, every time I ask my driving instructor to borrow his car for a test, he is busy with other commitments. I've been struggling to book a test since MARCH because of all the above ! The whole point in 5Day is to learn to drive in 5 days, not 6 months... As per the trading standards/consumer rights, I sadly believe we are being miss-sold by 5Day and none of the above was made clear to me upon booking/mentioned in any of the product info online. I would therefore ensure you check every little detail before booking with them. Or better yet, avoid completely !

Very misleading! Booked this for my son (in Chelmsford booking ref:CH-JDM16) who was desperate to get driving but never had the time around college for lessons. He already had his theory test so we accepted that he’d have to sit through lessons that weren’t required. He breezed through the weeks driving as he already had driving experience. But by the end of the week he was advised that he wasn’t test ready. We were shocked by this, but accepted that we aren’t the professionals. Conveniently his instructor could offer extra lessons for additional cost! After a few extra lessons he was signed off as test ready. We’d already booked a test with the DVLA but 5day told us to cancel this test as they’d get him a cancellation much quicker. As the cost of the course includes the car for the test we willingly did what was advised. We paid the money for the test and waiting for a call. Weeks went past and we heard nothing, I tried to chase the test only to be told they won’t discuss the matter due to GPDR even though my son was under 18, I’d paid for everything and my contact details were on everything. My teenage son eventually phoned in only to be told he was 27th on the wait list! (After 6 weeks waiting) Another month passed and he got to 22nd on the list! Whilst I appreciate it is a bit of a mess trying to get a driving test, 5Day completely mislead you into saying they’ll get a test quickly! We eventually booked the test ourselves (again) and used a tracking app to get a cancellation only 2 weeks after booking the test ourselves. My son was lucky to have the option to take the test in his own car, which made things much easier. When we phoned 5Day to get a refund on the driving test my son was still 15th on the wait list. This was 3 months after his original course! After speaking to another friend who’s son was on a more recent course they are still doing the same. Everyone needs extra lessons and no one ever gets a test! Whilst the concept and the instructors are good, the course is floored as they simply can’t get the tests but do not tell you this at booking. So we paid for a theory test we didn’t need and the hire of the car and a extra pre-test lesson that we couldn’t get. I also believe the cost of this course has also now gone up! Very misleading!!

Just passed my driving test in Bristol, with only 2 minors! So pleased with the result and I don’t think it would of been the same without my instructor John Pearce. I didn’t know what to expect at first, with it being called an intensive course. It definitely was that but without the pressure. John was really nice and friendly, everything was explained clearly and I couldn’t fault him. All of the manoeuvre tips he gave were exact and made the whole experience much easier - I would definitely recommend him! A week before the test, which was about 3 weeks after the course, I had three addition lessons with him. He recommended a lesson on the day of the test, which allowed me to iron everything out beforehand and relax before the test. The test ended up feeling like 10 minutes!

Raf at Birmingham! Just completed my 5 day course and couldn’t be happier. I started my first day feeling very anxious as I’d never sat in the drivers seat before and so I had 0 confidence. Luckily I had Raf, raf is an amazing instructor and goes out of his way to make sure you’re always feeling happy, comfortable and confident. This man is honestly incredible at his job, if I could give him more than 5 stars, I would!

I completed my 5 Days course at the Slough branch with Mick as my instructor and if I could give him higher than 5 stars I would! I had very little driving experience before starting the course and Mick immediately settled my nerves and refocused me in the correct way. Mick took the time to discover my preferred learning style and this alongside his coaching ability meant I made very quick progress under his guidance. Mick has a unique teaching style that matches the energy the learner puts in ; if I gave 110% so would Mick. He had a very motivational approach and invested the time to get to know my reasons for wanting to drive and used this to keep me aiming for my end goal. Not only do I feel like Mick taught me all the skills I needed to drive but he also made sure safety was at the forefront of everything and he prepared me for keeping my children safe on the road. I did not book my test through 5 Days as I already had one booked but the office I called where great about this and with Mick’s support they organised for a test car and Mick to do my test with me. A week after completing my course I passed my practical test first time in Slough! I highly recommend this course with Mic who goes above and beyond for his students!

Booked my 5 Day course in Bristol after failing my last 2 tests and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The course for the theory and practical were both great, passed my theory again straight away and was able to book my practical in a lot sooner than if I had gone with a local instructor. John Pearce is an incredible instructor, really encouraging and supportive, friendly and professional - just what you need! I’ve just passed my practical test and I couldn’t have done it without John and 5 Day, very pleased with the service and will be recommending to everyone.

I would personally not waste your money , the pass rate average is around 47 percent at test centres at the moment so over half fail !! You do not get a retest so you are back to we’re you started with no test. The next slots available up to 6 month wait after you have spent all this money with 5 day. Feel very, very let down. New customers really should be made aware of this situation. The whole purpose of booking an intense driving course is to pass your test faster that’s the whole point of spending such a vast amount of money on one go. I wish i had stuck to a local instructor. I now have no test and no instructor. I can not see any Information provided on the website about pass rates and if you fail your test.

I completed the 5Day course week last year in December in your South London Branch. When looking up the course, I believed I would be skipping the lengthy wait times and would have received a test in a couple of weeks/months. In addition to this,I believed driving every day for nearly 4 hours everyday would contribute to my success in passing my practical test. Now, nearly nine months later, I have not been given a test by you and I'm nowhere prepared to take a test due to the length of time I have spent not driving. Your company advertises falsie promises to young people eager to get on the road and leaves them to fend for themselves after taking their money. When calling up the centres, I have been repetitively met with 'there are test shortages' and no guidance or estimation. After being fed up for, sort out to find a test and managed to book one on Monday morning without any fuss. Even looking today at the Morden test centre, I can still see availability! The customer service I received was abrupt, hostile and thoroughly lacking any empathy for my circumstances. In your Terms & Conditions sent prior to taking the course, it stated that 5DAY "will fast track a driving test to be 75% sooner than the national waiting list.’ Yet I received nothing from 5Day, not even an update on what’s going on at the moment. Even when researching the course, the keywords in all your advertisements were I ‘5DAY Your driving test fast tracked’ which influenced my decision in booking the course. I have had to arrange additional lessons with your SL branch manager Martyn who has been amazing, however, this comes at an additional fee of the already paid £1,115 cost of the course. All tho I didn’t expect to be whole heartedly ready after booking the course, I didn't believe I’d had to fork out hundreds of pounds to ensure I stay up to a decent driving standard. It is so upsetting that it cost me so much more than starting lessons would have initially cost me and I am now even struggling to pay for this and I am now back to square one. I totally understand the backlogs across the country but how has a test date still not been offered and myself and other attendees have been able to book online? I would love it if someone could get back to me to help me understand what is happening here and assist me in resolving this issue. I’ve sent an email and had no response. Response* thank you for your response but you completely missed this mark here. I have sent an email days ago now and have been given no reply. If this could be actioned that would be amazing.
