Had a service visit Today from Scotty as had problems with my connection, very professional and polite. Did full system check and was very thorough. Well recommended.

I've been with 6g for over a year. I was on airfiber and never had a problem. I moved home on November 1st and airfiber isn't active in my area so I've been stuck with a service that comes via open reach. It's terrible! Constantly dropping out. I've lost count of how many times I've called and we chatted with them to be told there's nothing showing on the tests! Even sent me a screen shot of the results. They are basically saying I'm making it up! Me and my partner are working from home and losing money as both of our jobs rely heavily on having Internet access. On Thursday after almost 50 minutes on hold with them while they ran the tests yet again I was told that a brand new test has been added for them to run and it showed an issue. He couldn't tell me what the issue was or what was causing it! He said BT would have to cone out on either Monday or Tuesday. As of now I've had no contact from either company and am still left with a service that keeps dropping out!

The internet is absolutely shocking at the moment. It goes down constantly and takes days to get back online. Called on phone and joined the online chat at the same time for over 2 hours and couldn’t get through, which then it kicked me out of the online chat and I hung up the phone. This is all over the Christmas period not being able to watch what we want to watch on tv and use our devices.

Don't waste your money its cheap for a reason. Drop outs everyday. 30 minute waits to speak with a none technical person who cant fix your issue. Then 24-48 hr to get an actual technical person to fix your issue. (if they every do as they don't call you back to tell you) Worst internet provider I have every hand and delt with. I am getting to the point where I may need to pay the £365 to get out of the contact.

Had no internet for over 2 weeks now. Had an engineer sent out on 18.12.23 who installed a new router but was unable to get service in the property so still without internet. Rang customer service numerous times but they kept fobbing us off and still did not resolve the issue. Rang customer service again on 29.12.23 who informed me that our previous tickets had been closed. I questioned this as our issue was unresolved so the tickets should not have been closed especially if an engineer has been the property and was unable to get us service. To be honest the customer service department have not been helpful. They just fob you off to other departments and the other departments just fob you off to customer services. Called customer services again on 28.12.23 for an update and FINALLY spoke to someone who spoke some sense. Giving 6gi one last chance to resolve this issue. If it is not resolved this time I will be escalating this matter further as 6gi are not fulfilling their contract with the customer and still taking payment even though they are not providing us with a service. No compensation has been offered. When asked about this the customer service agent said this can only be discussed with a manager or another team once the issue has been resolved. Will be escalating to the financial ombudsman if no compensation is issued.

Fy5 area, November & December. Worst internet I've ever experienced!! Maybe comes on for a couple of hours then on /off all day after. Can't use sky or Amazon firestick, keeps dropping out. Speeds are nowhere near what they advertise and according to an engineer, never will be. Complete WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Had no internet since 22nd Dec... Called technical and it was just like turn it on /of and type in a new password that didn't work 6g just kept fobbing me off with saying it should be back on shortly so after a day or so ringing and doing the same thing over and over 6g closed for Christmas now it's the 27th Dec stino internet and I've been on hold waiting to speak to someone for 50min now still waiting.... Pis s poor after service

I've had 6gi for 3months now first it dropped on me after a month kept coming on then going of every 30 minutes or so this lasted almost all day got annoyed with it,,,,,,,now it has been off xmass night and now boxing day its not worth it,,,cancelling now can't get thru to any one they might get better as company gets older I know its new with teething problems but for now I'm off sorry 6gi I may try you again in a year or 2 when you sort you problems out Fy1 3lw blackpool bye

We had the internet installed seven weeks ago, and in that time we are yet to experience one full day where it just works. Firstly, the positives. The installation team were brilliant, as were the numerous members of staff I have spoken to since then - all friendly and knowledgeable, and I got the impression they cared. What I like most about 6Gi is how quickly you can actually speak to someone when you have an issue, instead of the usual 90 minute wait you have to endure when dealing with the bigger companies. Now for the negatives. For some reason, our internet has never been able to stay connected for a day. When it works, it's brilliant, and it's great value, but for some reason it keeps disconnecting itself. Literally every time I turn on my TV I need to connect to the internet. I've phoned up on numerous occasions, and each time they tell me they have solved the issue - which they have, for maybe a day? We have had multiple days with no internet at all, and about 10 days where mobile phone devices were blocked from connecting. This resulted in my 11 year old unknowingly using her mobile data, resulting in a £40 phone bill a week before Christmas. That phone bill was the final straw for us, and this morning I cancelled our contract with 6Gi (they even let me stay connected until Jan so I can find another provider - why can't their product be as excellent as their service?!) I'm really disappointed, because I really wanted this to work! I'm fed up of constantly switching between Sky and Virgin, and I was hopeful 6Gi were the answer, but sadly it just hasn't worked out. I'm sure these are just teething problems which will end up getting sorted, but for me it's not quite happened.

After being with them for 12 months with not so good internet signal i got a call to take out a new contract with the promise of a new router and an extension for the ariel so we would get better reception. I got the router through the post and the guy turned up the following week to sort the ariel. All was well until we noticed a hole in our new roof, i contacted 6g, they sent someone to check the damage, the guy said yes the engineer has accidentally stood and broken a slate, we will be back next week to fix it. This is over 4 weeks ago and the hole is still there, the ariel the engineer came to rectify wasn't secured correctly, came away from the fixing and was teetering on the edge of the roof, inch's from falling off. It took several phone calls and emails to get to speak to a manager who promised they would come and remove the ariel and fix the damage they caused but yet i am still sat here with a hole in my roof and being ignored by these cowboys. If you value you property i seriously wouldn't let these guys anywhere near !

I’m not one for moaning, because it’s not constructive, however I was getting close. No internet for 5 days really started getting on my wick, it’s amazing how much we rely on it nowadays! But tonight, 6G resolved, I have called them daily since my outage began with no avail or useful update to be had. Tonight I called up and was dealing with DENZIL on customer tech support - he has been nothing but empathetic throughout my plight, he’s just trying to get customers issues resolved. Tonight through team work however, we got there. I logged into my router (been an ex-techie helps) through the Ethernet and basically being guided in to land blind by Denzil, we sussed the issue and I am back online. It’s new technology, it’s going to have teething troubles. I can barely get 10 mpbs through my phone line, so I was happy to take the dive and try out this new technology. As a ‘conquest’ customer if you like, one should expect issues along the way - but patience is key and working with not against. If you don’t want to be a part of it until it’s more established, then fine. But you won’t be able to get quick speeds without that fibre connection. This for me has been a challenge, but the 90% of the time we are working it’s fab. Very reasonably priced, excellent speeds (when we are running) with great support and a simple installation process. If you fancy being part of a technology change, go for it, but be prepared to have to persevere on the odd occasion with a couple of wobbles. 6G - I hope going forward you can stabilise and continue to improve this all new network. FY51 area.

I could not access my new account after changing address and was also being billed for my old address, a quick use of the live chat and was told it had been resolved and the old account closed, however the bill on my old account has now doubled.

Fy5 area ... I really wouldn't recommend the company. The wifi is consistent... At dropping off. Really slow, tv images are pixilated, dowload speeds are not what were advertised. Staff are always doing the hard sale to me and made me believe its me ... Until i read similar reviews. The positives are that they are cheaper than what i have seen and the engineers were lovely (would be 1 star otherwise). Hopefully i can leave free of charge as i am not getting what i am paying for.

Constantly goes down was promised would be the best around as work for nhs and need reliable internet, Thornton Cleveleys constantly has problems days at a time, I now pay for two internet’s as can’t rely on 6g and tied in now with them, literally just got a text from them (Saturday) to say it’s gone down again and should be back by 12pm Monday!! If I didn’t have the back up internet I would be losing wages so disappointed
