Sep 25,2024Don't waste money on the investigation upsell -- I already had the street address and needed to locate a unit number. Paid the additional $70 or whatever it was. A few days later I get a notice telling me that service could not be performed, and the results of the investigation was the exact same street number minus the unit that I had provided in the first place. Whoever did the "investigation" obviously didn't look past the first page of Google results. There's no number to call to inquire, just a chat bot who spits out generic answers. No ability to contact the actual process server to coordinate information. All around waste of time and money.

Sep 25,2024We requested and paid for expedited service of a legal document over a week ago and have still not closed this order out. After the process server served our document and sent us the proof, we noticed that mail service was not listed as completed on the proof as it should have been. It has now been a week since we've had to ask for this correction (ABC Legal did not notice this error) and we still do not have the signed proof of service to file. Customer service has not given clear answers on the timeline. This is especially frustrating since we PAID FOR expedited service for a reason, yet this is taking longer just to get the proof than it ever has in my legal experience. We are not satisfied and are not interested in using ABC Legal again after this.

Sep 24,2024Our office needed to serve a defendant who was an inmate in federal custody. All the details of how to schedule an appointment with the facility in order to serve the defendant, were given to ABC during the order. This information was NOT relayed to the assigned process server. The process server attempted service during the weekend and said "I was unable to access the address due to secured building. This is a secured federal correctional facility, no access." I managed to locate a phone number for the server using a Google search the next day so I called him. I relayed the information to the server directly to call the facility to make arrangements. He claimed ABC did not disclose this to him in the order. 3 stars for lack of communication, 5 stars for their portal showing in real-time the steps in which the order is being processed.

Sep 23,2024The service was great even though it didn't go as planned. The document eventually made it but not in the way it needed to. I asked if the address could be changed, which wasn't an option, that made the experience less efficient. For the amount it costs for a 2-day delivery that did not happen, I would expect a bit more flexibility.

Our process server, Amy T., received the documents and had the Defendant's served in less than 20 days. She went above and beyond until service was perfected. Communication from Amy T. was phenomenal, she let us know updates after each attempt to serve.

Sep 20,2024We are a medical group that gets served a few times a day from different companies. ABC Legal is the worst when it comes to sending professional people to our business. The person who came in today looked like he had just rolled out of bed. He was rude and did not want to sign in when he came into our office, which is our procedure. When asked if he had a phone number for the company, he said, no, he just gets paid to deliver the packet, he didn't know anything else. He looked at his phone the whole time without making eye contact.

Sep 19,2024Spent $75 to serve my child's mother. I gave them the correct address but I did not know the unit number. After 1 attempt they stopped trying because no unit number. Just ask front desk. No effort. 0 stars is possible. They say they will try continually for 3 months??? They stopped after one try!........ One month update, still no service and now they have the correct apt number. Its been one month. They attempted service twice - unsuccessfully. No communication for 2 weeks. I would have taken down the bad review if they ever got it done but no luck. My advice - don't write them a negative review until after and maybe you'll get service processed. But for sure, they are unprofessional.

Sep 19,2024It was served to the incorrect business and the incorrect person. It was addressed to a completely different name and business, but they served it anyway. I called, but they haven't returned my call to rectify their mistake. This isn't their first mistake!

Sep 17,2024Abc Legal has some of the most predatory practices I’ve seen. I made a small mistake in the address—5100 XXX Ave instead of 5011 XXX Ave. Before they even tried to fix it, they told me I’d have to pay another full case fee just to correct the address. They clearly don’t understand what re-routing means. Stay away!
