Internet is slow and turns off by itself, regret changing providers
AGL has been so easy to deal with, from switching providers, to disconnecting when moving out and reconnection of new property, and chatting online and being advised i can get a better plan with an additional credit applied for my future bill. Not to mention i even got an uber voucher which comes in handy when moving. Would highly recommend thanks you
Getting a bill before a service has even started?
JUST MOVED IN MELBOURNE FROM PORT DOUGLAS. WAS RENTING A PLACE IN MELB AND FOUND THE SERVICE EXCELLENT AND FAST.. WE MOVED HOUSE AND AGAIN USED AGL FOR BOTH ELECTRICITY AND GAS. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND HAVE NO ISSUE RECOMMENDING AGL TO OTHER CUSTOMERS
There is a daily charge for solar almost a dollar plus a daily charge for electricity supply also they are 12% above market set price. Even with a pension not even worth it. Go with anyone else. Half my bill was service fees/charges and they add the GST at the end as well instead of it being included.
I don't even know why I gave 2 stars, Ive been absolutely stitched up, I set up my internet with AGL a week ago, was set up to be done Wednesday. Well Friday came along and I was told there will be a technician coming out to set it up, I took the whole day off work for it because i was told if I wasn't home I'd be charged $130, well that never happened, rang AGL, hour later, then said they'll call me back, never did, I rang them back hours later for me to do the same process, another hour later, i was met with the same answer and then to be told, "oh now we'll send someone out on Monday". To top it off I apparently will be getting billed for my internet on Monday, that won't be happening, not paying for something I haven't had. Get it together

Calling to check after the connection and giving information on other applicable benefits I could derive from using AGL. However, it would be nice to book appointment to call customers instead of random calling, this could be done by sending sms or email. I missed a couple of calls from AGL before the last one and I kept wondering who calls me at my peak time of the day.
Fast and easy sign up
It took more than 2 weeks for them to sort out our connections. On the chat, I got lots of different people asking the same questions over and over. Often there was no reply for several minutes. It took up so much of my time. I am trying to work myself. it was very stressful. As soon as I have time I am going to transfer to a different provider because of the poor communication.
Customer care is trash. They just try to scam you and not being helpful at all.
I highly recommend AGL who I have chosen as my Electricity & Gas provider. Setting up my new account with them was effortless and the staff were excellent! Thanks AGL.
Disgusting customer service by “Nick” he needs to be retrained how to speak to customers and also pass in clear information. As one moment we were given the new customer discount, then we weren’t, and now we are again? Sounds like AGL are just pulling numbers out and we have to pay them. Or Nick needs to be retrained. Awfully high for 2 x people that weren’t there for nearly 4 weeks!

AGL is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I have been charged for 2 months extra even though I had requested for cancellation on January 12. And it is nightmare to get a response from them on this matter. I think I will never get my 2 months refund back :(

Can't contact them as anything I try to do or add onto my account, they have to send a code to my OZ phone. Asi am out of country they can't send it to any other apart from an Australian phone, how stupid, do they think all there customers who own Australian property only live there!!!! No other country does this with customers who live outside of a country
They used to b great but now they have changed. Threats to disconnect even though I pay something of the bill every week. On the gas bill is there is only $50 left to pay and they still sent a registered letter, threatening disconnection!
