In April, the support staff is consistently effective. I want to thank Agnes, who has helped on numerous occasions, particularly during emergencies and urgent situations. She supports the members in times of difficulty and is always available, even after work hours. Her efficient and committed work style has simplified procedures.
My employer changed to April International on 1st September 2024. I have chronic health issues and Tom Mouland and the April International team have been incredibly empathetic and responsive with my appointments. The easy pay card and claim justification at April International is a great improvement over the previous provider which involved being out-of-pocket, sometimes for significant amounts, and reclaiming. April has also made adjustments specific to my jurisdiction which limits the instances of me and my coworkers being out-of-pocket. For example, they updated their system to allow easy pay card usage at supermarket pharmacies, and they worked with a large private hospital to guarantee all health care for my employer's staff and their dependents. This has been a huge relief especially for my colleagues with children. My doctors are also happy because their staff don't have to do a lot of work to get reimbursed. I have already recommended April International to my friends.
Our Company recently joined a Health, Dental & Vision plan for our staff with April International and we extremely impressed. April's services have been fast and efficient, and their coverage levels are fantastic. Where we have previously had issues with other international providers locally in the Caribbean, April International have been able to intimately deal with any issues or delays expeditiously, provide solutions quickly, and confidently on our behalf providing a great deal of security and assurance in what can be really stressful moments. The claims team (especially Tom Mouland) have been super reliable in dealing with our groups claims which also provides a great deal of comfort both to our staff and to us as employers. Onboarding was fast and efficient, and the April team hit the ground running! We are so pleased and couldn't have made a better decision to transition to April International.

Benoit Cosner and the entire April Insurance team is a scam. I upgraded my policy through one of their brokers and they accepted the application in July. Then only after filiing a claim last month, April not only denied it but cancelled my policy entirely. They claimed "the risk I stated on the application" was not the same in my previous policy. So why did April accept the application and waited until a claim was submitted to deny and cancel the entire policy? I never seen such scam and unethical practice in my life. Benoit Cosner never replied to my email follow up and instead sent an automated reply saying it will take another 10+ working days to get an answer. He also shared I will be getting a refund of the premium - and nothing until now. DO NOT purchase April Insurance. You are better off uninsured!
