Dec 13,2014I have been a regular customer of Arcata Pet for over a year. I live in FL and go to the trouble of ordering/shipping organic chicken feed from Arcata in CA for several reasons. The feed is ALWAYS extremely fresh and, if you own chickens, you know how often old or buggy feed happens. So that makes a HUGE difference. When I open the bag it smells wonderful. Arcata ships promptly and always double bags the feed for me so that it survives transit all the way cross-country. If I have a question or concern, they always respond promptly. And the one time I received organic scratch with weevils in it, they promptly refunded the cost of it. This company cares. They value their customers and their customers' pets. They have my loyalty. Dec 11,2014I recently adopted a beautiful tabby kitten, and a friend had recommended ArcataPet to me. I got her from the pound, so she wasn’t in the best condition. I purchased a bed, two collars, flea and worm medication, and supplements from this site. The prices were very fair, which is wonderful because pet supplies can really be expensive sometimes. Everything arrived quickly. I was really impressed with the quality for so little spent. My kitty is now flea and parasite free. I am 100% satisfied with the service that I received. I will be recommending ArcataPet in the future, too!

Dec 07,2014Late afternoon the day before Thanksgiving I realized that I was almost out of Ultra Oil omega 3 that my aging doberman mix needs daily for his auto-immune problem. I went online and found Arcata Pet which not only had a great price, they said they would ship immediately, and they did. I got an email within minutes of placing the order, and I received the two bottles I ordered immediately. It was packaged very well, which I really appreciate as I've had problems with those bottles in the past. I live in a small town with no shopping choices and have to rely on the internet for many items. Arcata Pet has earned my future business.

Dec 05,2014Recently, the Sunday afternoon before Thanksgiving, I needed to order a bottle of Bio-Groom's Lido-Med and a Bite-Not collar for my aging dog, who has recently lost his eye sight and also has a sore back leg that he keeps trying to gnaw. The Lido-Med is the best product I have found to help with the pain and the healing of the leg. And the collar is perfect. It fits more like a neck brace and hinders him from being able to turn his head around to reach his back leg; but it does not prevent him from his normal eating, drinking, or finding-his-way-around-the house activities. Since I was not sure about the exact size collar to order, I called and the young lady who answered was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. She measured the length of the collar sizes I had questions about and helped me complete my order for both the collar and the bottle of Lido-Med. Within about 30 minutes, I received an email confirmation that my package was ready to ship USPS Priority Mail and would go out the next day (Monday). As expected, the package arrived quickly, as promised. I have been a loyal ArcataPet customer for a number of years; and I have always found that they have top quality products at the best prices and provide quality, personal service when needed, whether via phone call or email. Their website is phenomenal. Since I live in a small town, ArcataPet has been, and remains, an essential source for my pet supplies. They have always come through when I needed them. And this time was no exception.

Dec 05,2014We ordered an Elizabethan collar for our cat the day before Thanksgiving. We needed a smaller one for a small cat. ArcataPet shipped it out on the day we ordered it. Really appreciate them shipping that day and not waiting till the day after Thanksgiving. Our cat is unhappily ensconced in her collar and getting better.

Nov 26,2014I ordered a Chilly Dog Pink Aspen Fair Isle Dog Sweater. Excellent quality & sizing was exactly right. I have had difficulty finding sweaters to fit my part schnauzer/part poodle. Other sweaters were either too big or too small. Very quick delivery of the item. I would most definitely recommend purchasing dog sweaters from Arcata.

Nov 18,2014This site was easily navigated. I loved how they had all of the dog items split into different categories already. It made browsing so much easier and efficient. Their selection was awesome, from collars to grooming supplies to a variety of food and people apparel. They even had doggy reindeer ears for Christmas and doggy sunglasses, which I didn't even know existed! Their prices are comparable to national pet retailers, but with so much more to choose from. I could even search for great items for my dog by breed! Wonderful site, I would recommend this to anyone who likes to find that extra special something for their best animal friend!

I have discovered many speciality products on this website that I was unable to find anywhere else. The items are sorted into logical categories, so I never have trouble finding what I need. The prices are very reasonable, and products are often on sale. The closeouts section has particularly good deals that I recommend people browse. Shipping is usually quick too; I have never encountered a problem with it. Overall, I am very satisfied with their services.
