Apr 03,2025Just purchased a new mattress and paid for uplift of the old one from Archers Sleepcentre. The courier didn't uplift the mattress (£50 for this service) nor would he return when he was contacted 10 minutes later. I then requested a manager from Archers to lodge a complaint and 3 days later I'm still waiting. This caused my 80 year old mother in law, who has mobility issues and walks with the aid of a zimmer, some anxiety and stress as the courier didn't return until late the next evening and we couldn't place the old heavy mattress elsewhere in a small 2 bedroom flat. We are appalled with this terribly poor (premium?) service. We feel this should be a genuine health & safety issue you should promptly address and would be interested in your feedback.

When we made our choice, we were given a quick delivery date with the choice of our old mattress being uplifted, which was very helpful. Delivery men unwrapped the new mattress and put on the bed. We would definitely recommend Archers.
