My windscreen got smashed by a roof tile in the recent storm. It was replaced by autoglass because that's where we were directed by the insurance company. They did the job effectively. 'Nuff said.

Good service very quick
One of the side windows of my car was smashed over Christmas while I was abroad. Autoglass asked to pay the insurance excess to book an appoitment with the local Carglass before returning to the UK. There were no available appointments with the local Carglass within 3 working days and the only alternative was not working for us (too fare and time not suitable). So I had to drive back to London with a piece of cardbox on my window. I was then told they could not give me visibility of when the piece of glass would be available but was notified by email straight after that they had the part ready to fit from 7th Jan so I booked an appointment for 8th January. Blocking the day to stay at home as they only give you a time window the day before. This was cancelled the day before with no reason and I was told they would reach out to reschedule. I had to chase to get eventually another appointment on 22nd Jan which was cancelled at 10.30am on the day (window for visit 10.00-13.00) because the technician was sick. I was explained that although the job was considered urgent they could not re-allocate other technicians working on less urgent jobs. The closest new appointment they could offer was a week later. The broken window was eventually fixed on 30th January more than a month after the repair was requested. I feel autoglass should spend less money on marketing their wonderful customer service and more on actually making it real.
I booked my appointment on line for a home visit to fix a crack in my windscreen. There was good choice of appointments where showing as available. I received a call the following day from an engineer asking if i was available and if i wanted my screen fixing that evening. I was happy for this to happen, he confirmed a rough time of arrival. He turned up on time, polite, explained what he was going to do and then got on with the job at hand. I cant even see where the crack was.

The technician that did my repair was brilliant, very friendly, very informative, even went an extra step and tucked my dash cam wire behind the trim for me while he had it off which i had been meaning to do, and i got my car back sooner than expected, would definitely recommend
