Jan 11,2024Back to Bases were able to step in at the last minute when a company I was relying on let me down. The 3 man team worked extremely hard in freezing conditions and completed the job (grid base) to perfection. They were friendly, hard working and knowledgable. They cleaned everything up beautifully. I would fully recommend.

They installed a new kitchen for extremely well, I was able to leave my property with them for 3days with no issues whatsoever. The kitchen looks fabulous and has now helped me let my property out.

Dec 19,2023Tony saw my needs, worked out the answers, quoted a reasonable price and set to work. Safety was paramount in his eyes and now l have handrails, cleared the runup to the ramp and recemented the path. His men were on time, worked diligently, cleared any mess made. So now l am a very happy customer and can't wait to use my newish ramp. I highly recommend this company and their staff.

We were recommended to use Back to Bases, and I found Tony to be very friendly and cooperative over the phone. Luckily, we received an appointment to fit the base the same week. Mark and his colleague subsequently completed work to a very high standard. I would like to thank Tony and the team for their great work at short notice and I would highly recommend Back to Bases to anyone in need of a concrete shed base.

Dec 06,2023I needed a concrete base laying in preparation for a garden office and took a recommendation of using Backtobases from the company I was buying the office from (Titan Garden Buildings). Darren, from BackToBases, was really easy to work with, competitive quote and the team turned up on time, cracked on with the work, got the job done in the time they said they would and cleaned up after themselves every evening and again at the end of the job. What's more, the team that were onsite were polite and friendly and a credit to the company. What more can you want from a contractor?

The communication, customer service and quality of work they provided was exceptional, and all at a very competitive price. All appointments were arranged at our convenience and promptly kept, despite horrible weather at the time of removal of the old shed, and the installation of the concrete base and new shed. I thoroughly recommend Back to Bases.

The men who did the construction worked expertly and efficiently showing due consideration for me as they had to bring materials through the house. They tidied up thoroughly when they finished the work. I also received prompt responses to emails and text messages whenever I had any query. I recommend the company and would use them again.

Nov 01,2023Back to Bases did a superb job from start to finish in demolishing an old shed and constructing a new concrete base. The initial quote was straightforward and competitive. The job was started and fished on time to a good standard by Joe and Lewis, who were very easy to get on with. Payment was only requested on completion and after Darren had checked with me that everything was ok. As I indicated above, I am well satisfied and would recommend Back to Bases.

He provided timely, competitive quotes, adjusting them as necessary to accommodate our changing requirement. When the time came the team arrived promptly, were friendly and did the job professionally. They cleaned up and left the site in Writtle, near Chelmsford, neat and tidy. Highly recommended.
