Pleased with my purchase from Bed Kings. An attractive wardrobe at a decent price. Especially liked the assembly service which was done so much more quickly than we could have done ourselves!

!!AVOID THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a Lancaster wardrobe on July 3rd for £325. Because I am terrible at DIY I paid £125 for assembly service - I felt this was expensive but knew I wouldn't be buying any other furniture for a long time once I had this wardrobe. I thought about the time, energy and number of people needed to build it if I had to build it and thought paying was worth it. 2 weeks passed by, I had to chase up my order 3 times, ringing to see when delivery would happen. I got multiple emails where the delivery window changed 3 times - for a start, this is utterly ridiculous, how is anyone supposed to plan working around this when it changes frequently? But the worst part was still to come... The wardrobe was delivered and assembled. A team of 2 arrived to build it. I said to them that I would clear more floorspace if necessary, for it to be built, and they said that was ok. I was out in the garden and was called in by them when they were finished. Well, they put a big black mark on our wall, I realised they hadn't taken their shoes off (I would have said something if I'd realised in the beginning however, when they first didn't take them off, I thought it was because they had to go back and forth to the van after seeing which room the wardrobe was going in) and at the end, they told me they'd built my wardrobe ON MY BED when I specifcally asked them not to do so and said i'd clear more floor space if necessary!! Polystyrene was left all over the bed and in the bedding. I'd expect that kind of waste but not all over my bed!! They also proceeded to lift my blind in my bedroom without asking me first. The blind slats were open, not closed so there was no need to touch it. Its a fragile and heavy blind so it really annoyed me. The pair were just so disrespectful in my house!! I complained about these points to the company and was met with a defensive, disrespectful email. I was told, even though they lifted the blind, they didn't damage it - that is not the point! I was told, the weight of the wardrobe wouldn't exceed the maximum weight a mattress can hold so it wouldn't damage the bed or mattress - again, that is not the point! We have a wide hallway, in a bungalow, it should not have been built on my bed, which had brand new bedding on it - I also asked them not to and was totally ignored!! I was told the pair would have taken their shoes off if asked to - I didn't realise they hadn't until the end, however, this is just rude. Its common courtesy to remove your shoes in someone else's home! And there was no apology or mention of the fact they badly marked the wall. I paid £125 for an assembly service which was absolutely SHOCKING. Alongside the disrespect already mentioned, they did not even build it properly!! I found 2 screws on the carpet after they had left (which I could have easily stood on) and I then I found they hadn't fitted the hinges properly. Those screws weren't screwed in. The hinges weren't fitted correctly either so the doors scraped on the wardrobe frame, the handles weren't aligned properly and the back of the wardrobe was a disgrace!! Taped down the centre and pinned in with minimal pins, 1 of which seperated from the chipboard wood in an instant, leaving the back board popping out. Aside from all the assembly issues, 2 parts of the wardrobe were damaged. With the awful grey, film coating chipping away and a scratch on the front. In my email, I was told replacement parts could be sent. I suppose this is fair, however, i'd be the one fitting them when I paid £470 in total for what I thought would be good quality. I declined this as I won't be keeping it! I was also sent a guide on how to adjust the hinges. I feel this is outrageous!! I paid £125 for assembly and now i'm being sent a guide on how to adjust screws!? As a 'gesture of goodwill' I was told I could get £75 refunded to me. I accepted this but do not believe this is acceptable or fair compensation and I told them so!! To conclude, this company is appalling and not worth your money. The assembly service is shoddy, which you pay £125 for and the staff don't know how to build the pieces properly! The wardrobe itself (and I presume all other furniture) is so cheap and poor quality chipboard where pieces arrive damaged. I was told taping down the back was normal - i've never seen that in good quality pieces which shows its not worth £325. One of the worst things was, the men left my house, knowing they'd done a terrible job and that is AWFUL. If you opt to return something, small items cost £49 to return and big items E.G a wardrobe cost £99 and you have to book a courier, package it up and send it and then they'll inspect it when it arrives back at the company - if you're returning something that's damaged, no doubt they'd say that happened via the courier and refund nothing - just a guess but the company is shoddy! I therefore didn't dismantle and return it. AVOID!

Fab bed (trundle ) .went for the more up graded mattress . My grandsons had a good nights sleep .

The bed is taking longer to come than I expected - over 2 weeks - and I had to e mail and call BedKings several times to ask about likely delivery dates, and how much notice I would have to make arrangements at my end.

Princess royal carriage bed- Easy to place order, quick delivery with updates. The bed is absolutely perfect! Looks exactly like the picture on site, easy to build! My daughter is over the moon! Would highly recommend! Thanks Bed Kings!

Very poor kept promising delivery week after week and nothing made a complaint was told 6 times by the same guy I would get a call still nothing avoid this company at all costs we did get the bed and faulty again phoned up and no call back like promised
