Aug 06,2020What I experienced: honesty and integrity, safety and security for customers. Transaction went well, I was pleased. I was issued a check which I deposited in my bank. Then the check was returned. I was notified by Bellevue Rare Coins that the check was going to be returned because of an error made by a staff member. I went to the store again, picked up a replacement check, and that one cleared. Even though I was told I would be reimbursed for the returned check fee, I had to specifically ask to be reimbursed, then was. All is good. Mistakes happen. I will visit again if the need arises.

Aug 05,2020I made a same day, on line appointment at the Lynnwood location. I appreciated that the store monitors social distancing mandates and restricts the number of customers. I was promptly served at the designated time. The representative showed me how to verify sterling and gold costume jewelry where the metal was not easily identifiable. I received a fair value for the items based on the daily buy/sell rate. The staff were friendly and I did not feel rushed.

Aug 05,2020I had a very positive experience today at BRC. The gentleman who helped me was professional and proficient. my appointment was at 11 am and I was helped on time. Didn't feel rushed and was given prices and other helpful information. Thank you for a minor repair at no charge. I will go back to buy and sell.

Aug 04,2020Called multiple times left messages to please return call/calls, when talked to in person employee said what I needed and that I was referred to go this route from a very nice and knowledgeable employee along with email to talk with specialist in the field needed. Not once have I received an email or call besides this survey for I had also tried to meet with him via pre-scheduled appointment online and an email is then sent to you automatically asking how they did. Have had a few very bad experiences as well with the cocky , every coin falls into a pre-selected category before we even look at it, and I know everything you don’t guy ( has a beard and I believe short hair or bald and was at the Lynnwood location. Don’t let him around the customers if you’re planning on keeping some of them. I’m sure he has his own clientele that would vouch for his greatness that he’s probably very dedicated to keeping happy, but there’s still us little people that make up a good if not most of the ever expanding Bellevue Rare.... For the other visits I’ve been happy for the most part or content that what I went there for was what I got no more, no less. Would not have typed this review if wasn’t sent to me I speak my piece in person in store, always calmly and always with respect no matter the situation. Thank you for taking the time to read an unflattering review/opinion (and that’s all it is just an opinion and for all anyone knows I’m the problem) this is just how I see it. Also, I am in the forefront of customer services I should mention. Thank again. -Jay

Jul 29,2020My father passed away recently and had a small, odd coin collection. We brought them in to make heads or tails of what we had. Some were common coins of face value, others were actually worth holding onto all those years - and totaled over $2200 dollars! We felt like we were dealt with honestly, and they shared I formation on why and how they graded the values. We would definitely use them again in the future, and highly recommend them!
