What didn't go wrong? First of all it's not clear but they are a 3rd party who books other moving companies for you and don't actually do the moves themselves. While it's great they give you a dashboard and QR code, save yourself and book with a company that provides thier own trucks and staff. So not only was my truck delayed for the loading process, as there were truck issues. The new truck cane abiut 3 hiurs after the fact. Which delayed me then and getting to my final destination. The move in was pushed back to happen at 11 o'clock in the morning the following day. Which no one communicated this to the actual truck driver. He then contacted me at 8 o'clock in the morning to confirm that he was at the location for an unload. I had to tell him that he needed to come back at 11 o'clock in the morning. And then was an issue with the unloading team. So I ended up finding my own unloading team to assist me with the unload which then I was told that the customer service representative would look into adjusting my cost. However, in checking my bill, they charged me the full amount. While the service rep was friendly and helpful the lack of clear communication as well as planning made this entire process more stressful. I also feel completely overcharged for mediocre service. So I would NOT recommend this company at all.

The movers were phenomenal
They reassembled our bed incorrectly. It fell apart and partially collapsed while we were lying down on it. Thankfully no on was hurt but we needed to spend almost two hours in the middle of the night putting it back together. Bellhop also had booked us for 3 movers/4 hours. They only sent two movers and then charged us for the extra 1.5 hours that the move ended up taking. I contacted customer service who told me that they needed to pass this along to their Operations team and would get back to me in 24 hours. It is now four days later, and I still haven't heard from them.
From the initial contact, working with this company was excellent. Staff communicated with me constantly, and was clear on pricing. The movers were the same - efficient and worked to a high standard. I will definitely do business with Bellhop in the future, and recommend them to others.

The movers and truck driver in Cincinnati were punctual and moved my belongings into the truck efficiently. However, when it came to the appointed time of unloading in Green Bay. Only the truck driver showed up with my belongings. After a few calls, it took 3 hours for the movers to show up to unload the truck.
Team did a great job getting things in and out, only one bit of damage. Some better planning in loading the truck would have helped as some space was wasted but should have staged to have lighter stuff to throw on top more readily available during the loading process

Bellhop did a good job. They sent me a QR code which unfortunately the movers weren't able to scan. And I wish there was no minimum time for moving, since my move took less than two hours but I still had to pay the minimum of three hours of time. Anyway, they were very upfront about the cost and they estimated five hours so they charged me for that. But they sent me a receipt of the final bill and I received my refund inside of a week. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much. (By the way, you can save even more money with them on Groupon!)

Feb 01,2024The worst experience anyone could have please dont choose bellhop we have better places where we can get better services offered along with good customer care. 1) They take your card and charge your card without intimating you i got charged 5 times to my card which is ridiculous. 2) They will charge you more than what they told you gave you the quote and end up explaining but never refund your amount 3) They have a waste claims department who doesn't accept claims twice and on top of that they don't even tell customers that they dont accept simple they cancel it and say we dont accept 4) They have the worst billing department who never anwer to your question why i got charged these many times why is my bill different from what they had simple answer is sorry my dashboard is not correct but we cant refund your amount There Dashboard never showed me right amount right information but still got to pay more and have a dirty packers services and the worst moving services.
