Feb 20,2024There were several different groups involved on both sides of the move from Florida to Chevy Chase MD and everyone on the project was well informed about the milestones and requirements. In addition during the actual moving process I was able to call the support department on a Sunday night to check on the status of the truck driver for Monday morning. The next morning everyone involved including the support group, loaders and driver called to confirm.

The Dashboard is only as good if directed there for a reason, without personal contact, user is blind to information about services. No equipment, even laborers said they usually bring it, and it should not have been my responsibility, as stated by Mickey. You still owe me $60.

Feb 16,2024The 3 young men that showed up was a great help. They where very kind and polite. I was skeptical as little as they seemed. You know what they say, don't judge a book by its cover.These young men picked the tredmill up like it was a 2x4! Now the person that set this up on the phone with me needs some help & training. She spoke way , way, way to fast and I could not understand what she was saying. she made that part of my experience not fun and uncomfortable! I will be calling again and I will be letting everyone I know that needs items moved, to give you guys a call. They just need to hang on until the movers show up, that part is great!

Feb 11,2024I strongly advise against using Bellhop Moving. Initially, the booking agent seemed friendly and accommodating, but the experience quickly turned sour. They subcontracted the job to another company without transparency, resulting in communication issues and unexpected fees. Changing the move window by a mere two hours became an ordeal, with delayed responses and unexplained rate changes. Despite my efforts to resolve issues with their operations team, I was met with indifference and lack of follow-up. Even when canceling the reservation two weeks in advance due to these issues, they refused to refund the deposit. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Feb 06,2024DO NOT USE. They refuse to return my deposit and charged me $61. Then started texting and emailing me all these spam and nonsense i did not sign up for. Super unflexible and over charged. Make sure they are not also charging your credit card unnecessarily. Make sure to report them to the bank. Super dishonest business. Save your money, go through uhaul website to find movers

Feb 04,2024Two weeks ago I hired Bellhop movers to come help me unload a van of furniture at my new apartment at 11 AM on Sat. Feb. 3. About 70 minutes before the team assigned to me was supposed to arrive, Bellhop contacted me saying they were going to be 3 hrs late because the morning job was bigger than expected. I asked for Bellhop to find a different team for me and they said they would try. They could not find one, so I was forced to accept the 2 pm reschedule. I accepted under the condition that 2 pm was guaranteed and if anything changes I would be notified immediately. I was able to get the driver of the van transporting my furniture from GA to hold in NJ since NYC parking is very difficult. 2 PM comes, the van transporting my furniture arrives, I'm outside, and Bellhop is nowhere. I call again and find out that now my reservation has been delayed again and the movers confirmed they will be there at 4pm. No one at Bellhop told me this until it was too late for me to do anything. Ultimarely a Bellhop team never came. The story that I was told 3 times was that team assigned to me could not come because there morning job that was supposed to be 2-3 hrs turned to 6 and then to 8 hrs. Eventually another agent I can't remember the name of says there had been an emergency of some kind. I'm not sure what to believe anymore. It's very hard to believe that a company of this size that operates in multiple cities has no contingency plan on when a job goes over time and just makes the other job suffer and not get completed at all. It's also hard to believe that there was absolutely no one else Bellhop could find and send to help with a job that would have taken less than an hour with two people. I wasted a whole day speaking with Bellhop customer service and waiting for the team I was promised to show up. First, I was told 2pm, then 4 pm, and then 5pm only to have no one come and then I had to go call Bellhop again to learn that they pushed it back yet again. Bellhop completely wasted my time and clearly did not care that they had left me stranded with furniture. I regret that I didn't fire them immediately. I had good experiences with Bellhop in the past, but this was experience was completely unacceptable. I ultimately called Bellhop to cancel and request a full refund since Bellhop never provided me with mover service and it was now dark. I was offered a 90% discount if I rescheduled for Sunday. I declined and reiterated all my belongings are here now, I can't wait around overnight. I also asked to speak with a supervisor but was told they were busy with someone else and that the supervisor could call me back in 24-48 hrs. I reiterated that I am canceling my reservation and that I want a full refund since Bellhop never provided me with movers. I do not plan to use Bellhop again after this ordeal. Very disappointed and frustrated by the poor communication and lack of problem solving.
