My goal was to not have to move any boxes but I essentially did quite a lot of moving. By no fault of the other movers, a 3rd mover did not arrive. if I wouldn't have assisted, it would have taken a couple hours longer

Pretty disappointed. It is clear that Bellhop finds hourly help online and does zero training with who they hire. I understand they are hourly workers but the guys, who were so nice and kind, literally had no idea how to pack our Pod. We had to keep asking them to remove stuff and repack it because it was so poorly packed and we would have never been able to fit everything in. They couldn't finish in time do to having to constantly redo their work so we had to send them home and do the rest our selves which was not great being I recently had a hip replacement and my husband has a bad shoulder. One guy didn't even have proper sneakers on and kept falling. Asked to borrow tape so he could tape his shoes on his feet. Again. I do not blame the workers, I blame a company that does zero training with their staff on how to properly plan and move before sending them out. When I pay a $150 service fee, I would have thought part of that came with some training for the team coming out to work. I could have posted a free add on Craigslist and got better results for 1/3 the cost.

Overall the move went well, the teams were friendly and efficient. We had a few issues, mostly minor. The biggest issue was the hardware for one of our beds did not make the trip and we have yet to hear from the team if they were able to track the materials. In addition, there was a hesitatancy to put our other bed together even though it was clear that they were to put it back together. In addition, they left five furniture items wrapped in blankets and or shrink wrap and left all of the shrink wrap that they did remove in the middle of our garage. We also had a few broken items, a lamp, part of a dresser and a desk. We look forward to hearing from Bellhop.

It was okay! They got all of things safely to my location but of course from The time I talked and booked, I had to fight with the actual movers to get what was already agreed upon. They had a weight limit to what they could carry as well So I had to leave my piano behind. After I already signed a contract I found movers that would have taken everything including my piano for the same Price.

Not on time damaged the front of my dryer. Then charged me 2 1/2 hours more then what they were there. I never got a email about the charges so I had to wait until it was charged and then call for my refund .

Great team. Took direction well. Brought good ideas for placing items in home. Punctual. Worked efficiently. Best move I have ever had. Great quality for the money. Would e again in the future if needed.

I had a long distance moved booked from Boston to NYC, booked several weeks in advance. I did not receive confirmation the night before the move date, was not proactively contacted by Bellhop or the move crew or driver. Ultimately at 8am on the move morning when we were scheduled to start, I did not see a truck, I did not have a move crew. The next 10 hours consisted of me doing all of the work to reach out to Bellhops, try to coordinate all the pieces (THEIR JOB). Due to Bellhops repeatedly dropping the ball, not communicating proactively, not having backup solutions, etc. they did not complete my move. It was the single most unprofessional and embarassment of service I've ever experienced with a company. I was lucky enough to call a local company to do the move last minute, which they did amazingly (came out 1.5 hr after I called them). Avoid Bellhop at all costs - they rely on contractors and a gig model and when things go south, Bellhop is not responsive, not accountable, and complete inept.

The team was absolutely incredible! Dylan did an amazing job leading his team in a flawless move for us! Nothing out of place and everything where we expected it. We helped by labeling each box with which room it goes to to help ease the frustration of where things went.

I submitted a claim and cannot get a response to the claim. It was sumitted within 3 days, and I was told there was an update via email, but I can find no update and all communications have stopped via text and via email. From the very start the lack of communication is problematic. The actual moving crew did well and were pretty good. Had a couple pieces of low grad furniture damaged but only filed a claim on one speaker that was significantly damaged. Just can't talk with anyone on how it was handled.

The beginning was great - James was our rep and he was helpful, patient, great to talk to. Then it went downhill. Once we were passed off to the next "support" person, Berkeley, we never got responses, dashboard wasn't updated until maybe two days before the move, it was nerve racking to get radio silence. Moving day - the team was awesome, amazing, especially the two leads. Driver was super, polite, and got to the new house right on time. Unloaders - very very sad. Just dumped stuff in the house. Only put three beds together, nothing else, and put them together wrong. We were told they'd set things up, put things together, etc. Very disappointing. Then . . . dealing with the after, the claim for damaged furniture and damage to the wood in our home, etc. Very small settlement and still waiting for it. NO ONE RESPONDS. Not claims. Not support. NO ONE. In some ways, I recommend, in others, do not expect their online service to be service.
