I was disappointed from the beginning. I was looking to buy around the border of two states. The first realtor that called me failed to tell me that she was only licensed in one of those states so she was only sending me properties in the state she was licensed in and most of them were not even in the towns I told her I was interested in. Which left me to do a lot of the leg work myself. When I sent her a property I wanted to look at in the state she was not licensed in, she then partnered up with a realtor licensed in the other state. At first he made me feel like he cared about finding me the right home until it took longer than we thought. He told me that he felt I was worried about how much of his time it took for him to come out and show me all the properties I saw and that I shouldn't worry about that. He obviously felt I took too much of his time. Once I found a house and it came down to inspections, he recommended an inspector for me to use. Never advised that I should get the well and septic inspected. I asked about the well inspection only because a friend mentioned it to me and he replied "definitely good idea". I also found it interesting that the only time the realtor was at a house before I arrived was the day of the inspection. The inspector took a sample of the water and never let me know how the test came back, showed my pics of the well pipes when I was at the house but they are not in the final report I received. Missed a 14" long crack in one of the pipes in the crawl that was found after I moved into the house and my septic pump went out. The septic alarm was on silence mode, which I would think would be something an inspector would have noticed and mentioned. As for the HA I did not feel confident that he knew what he was doing. They requested things from me that they had and I didn't due to the cash offer program I used (which was not explained to me in full detail). I felt like they requested things at the last minute then made me feel like it was my fault I didn't get it to them in a timely manner. I was told one thing from the realtor and another from the HA. My closing disclosure was sent to me incorrect multiple times. At one point my HA said I wasn't singing it I just needed to check the box that I received it and he would get me a corrected one ASAP. I had to tell them what was missing or incorrect on the disclosure. I didn't receive a correct one until the night before my signing. The title company contacted me to confirm my signing appointment and asked if I had my final disclosure and stated that they had not heard from my lender. I can keep going but what it boils down to is that I will not be recommending Better Mortgage or Better Real-estate to any of my friends or family.
I had a great experience obtaining my mortgage through Better. The user interface for the online mortgage application process was well-organized and easy to use. Ankit and his team kept me updated when they needed any additional information throughout the process. Everything came together smoothly for closing. I would use Better again and would refer them to others!
Wayne and his team were awesome to work with. When we had hurdles they came up with solutions to fix them and made sure everything was correct. I highly recommend Wayne and his team.

My refinancing experience with the team that was assigned to me was outstanding. The team was extremely professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. If at any time they were unavailable to answer my questions, they promptly returned my calls or responded to my emails. The online portal was easy to navigate and secure, and I would highly recommend Better.com.
My experience with better.com was great. I had the privilege to work with Conor Roche and Philip Moon. They kept a fast closing on pace and quickly updated information and uploads needed to get us ready to close on time. They were also very cooperative with my real estate agent, providing information as necessary to get the sale completed.

Working with Better on my refinance went very smooth. They closed quick and fees were low. Rocket's fees were about two and a half times more, which would have required me to finance more and cash out less with a higher payment. Seems like Better lives up to their name.

I began a loan with Better Mortgage and received an immediate response. I had some delays myself and was pleased that my "Team" did not push themselves on me by bombarding my with Phone calls, texts, etc., they did however remind me on occasion they needed more information to complete my loan. When I was ready and had gathered the peper work they needed it was a simple process to scan and upload the documents they asked for. These requests for more information were expected and proceeded in order. They have a tasks link on their website that kept my informed at all times what each of us needed to do next. The loan closed within thirty days and all moneys have been distributed within six weeks of applying.
Better was a great company to use for a refinance. The best part about working with them is I never wondered where I stood in the process. Every time a step was finished, Better was there to let me know they were ready for me to move on to the next part. I only had to contact Better once and they answered with a real person. Such a smooth process.
I came to Better.com after seeing it recommend on several other sites and blogs. They definitely had the best rate out of several providers I looked at. The service team was responsive and helpful though out the process and introduced themselves via email on the very first day. I had Jayme, and she was great. The website is well organized and clearly walks you through what needs done as well as what you've completed. If you run into any question it's not a problem, your team is there to help and are pretty responsive. I refinanced, and the process wasn't stressful at all. When we were all set to sign documents, they even sent a notary to meet me at the location of my choosing. I'd highly recommend using Better.com.

The closing was super easy and overall the experience was better than I had with the more traditional way of buying or refinancing a house.
