Jul 09,2024This farmhouse is perfect! We used it as a base for 11 people to go to the British GP in Silverstone. The house is very well appointed and has plenty of room. The are pastries and bread delivered daily, and they are delicious! I can't say enough, it really is very nice.

Jul 09,2024Delightful house. Position in centre of Chipping Campden is very convenient, many good restaurants within walking distance. We appreciated the shelves of books. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and opens onto a pretty courtyard garden. The beds are comfortable, the main bedroom is spacious, light and furnished with a mixture of old and new items, well done, as this can be difficult to achieve. So lovely to have walls covered with pictures/ paintings. The owner, Fiona, is extremely pleasant and helpful.

Jul 09,2024We have stayed in the cottage before and loved it. However, this time the remote that controls the central heating had been removed so we were unable to turn it on. I know it's summer but it's very cold for the time of year and I have some serious health issues that mean I need to be warm. If the heating is disabled it should not be advertised as having it. In fairness the electric fire did eventually heat up downstairs but upstairs, particularly in the mornings, was very cold.

Jul 09,2024Idyllic Cottage ,clean and well equipped ,super comfortable bed, excellent shower room, beautifully decorated. The village is gorgeous, excellent walks on the doorstep , great cafe and shop. Perfect base to explore all North Cotswolds has to offer. Highly recommend.

Jul 06,2024The apartment was great. We had a problem with ants and flying ants when we first checked in but went to get some ant killer and that worked well. You may want to be sure to provide plenty of this for the next guests. We left what we bought. Other than that, the place was great and loved the location.

Jul 06,2024We stayed at Deer farm house for 4 days to celebrate our daughter’s 18 birthday. The house was amazing, loved the deco, outstanding location with huge garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Definitely coming back again 👍

Jul 05,2024The Green Farm House was absolutely stunning. Beautifully kept and plenty of space. The house was well equipped from kitchen utensils to crockery. We had a fabulous time and would recommend staying here.

Jul 02,2024Just got back from an awesome weekend at Wild Pear Cottage in The Cotswolds. It honestly felt like home! Furnished with such care and detail with quality items. Cannot stress enough how beautiful the place is. I did state in the visitors book that the pictures do not do it justice x I only have ONE constructive criticism to make and that is that it would be lovely to have had a bigger fridge/freezer. The freezer was basically an ice box and the fridge was enough for a few bottles and few bits and pieces. We unfortunately did a massive Tesco delivery which meant we had to forfeit a lot of shopping (There were 6 of us). I would say when you come here, come with the intention of buying very little food to store in the fridge or eat out more!

Jul 02,2024What a perfect place for a Cotswolds get away. We were lucky enough to spend a long weekend in both properties, and we couldn't believe how generous in size they were, how well equipped, what a great location and the views from the balcony can't be beaten. We will be back!

The cottage with a hot-tub was a fair price in a wonderful location and perfect for 2. I would happily book via Bolthole retreats again as this really was stress free. I would happily recommend Hillview Hideaway as a place to stay

Jun 24,2024This was a great property for an extended family get together. It had lots of imaginative areas to sit, play, talk. It had plenty of crockery, cooking utensils and lots of fridge space. The grounds were safe and well equipped with swings and a trampoline and a box of dressing up clothes! The owner was very responsive to my questions. The directions were detailed and accurate although it might have been hard to find in the dark! Bolthole escapes could have been a bit more flexible with the checkout time instead of offering us the opportunity to book another night when we really just needed an extra couple of hours.

Jul 11,2024A delightful cottage in Broadway! Super comfy beds, great wifi, excellent kitchen and lovely outdoor area…located right behind Main Street. Great location to explore the Cotswold area. Communication with housekeeper was easy and prompt…highly recommended.
