Jan 22,2025This may well be an OK company if you don't mind highly inflated fees. I'll take some responsibility for not reading the fine print. I was unaware that I was "prepaying" for a hotel stay. I thought I was just making a reservation. I was charged $321.94 for a two night stay, plus almost $29 for what they called refund protection. Once I realized they actually charged my card, I called for a refund, literally 5 minutes after making the reservation. Was told I would be charged one nights stay as a cancelation fee. ($113) I was willing to accept responsibility for my stupidity and eat the $113. I received a cancelation confirmation email, for the $29 refund protection first, then shortly after a confirmation for the hotel cancelation with the usual "it could take up 10 days to show on my bank statement." Mind you, it didn't take them 10 seconds to debit my account the $321. Well, here we are 14 days from the refund request origination and nothing has been refunded. All I get is what appears to be an auto generated email say my refund request has been updated. Keep in mind, I called the hotel directly, and was able to stay 2 nights for $220 after tax. So, buyer beware. It's not a scam perse, but you'd do better calling the front desk personally.

Jan 22,2025I had to make a last minute hotel reservation at night and looked up the airport hotel on my phone. I clicked on what I thought was the hotel website and made a reservation for the one night. Long story short, the room is posted by the hotel at 123.01. BookOnline charged me 195.27. That's 72.26 in unnecessary fees! I feel like an idiot falling for this scam and that's what it is! A scam. So I write this as a warning to others. Make sure you're on the hotel's website.

Jan 22,2025Came up on a price comparison site for Hotel, which was a decent rate per night, when clicked through to pay noticed they had added £40 to night one and £90 to night two. This would have left the cost almost 50% higher than any other cost online or with booking with the hotel directly.
